  1. Except that it’s his right wrist that’s supposed to be injured. It looks like the left wrist hit hard & awkwardly on the ground. Or at least it was his left wrist that appeared to take the weight of his body as he landed.
  2. I’m 2 weeks younger than my favorite team!
  3. That college highlight video shows Virgil has plenty of speed and agility. If he’s smart, he’ll hang around Cooper and learn route running and the finer points of being an NFL WR!
  4. I’m not sure there’s a test that would predict the future for a kicker. A lot of us thought we were invincible coming out of college at 22. Then as we age, reality sets in and we get a few “scars”. How we react to these scars is the big question. For golfers, some develop “the yips” & miss easy putts at times. I view kickers similarly to golfers. Bass has shanked kicks multiple times now and that’s like a golfer shanking an iron into the gallery or 3 putting from 5 feet. It’s very rare for someone to completely overcome that. Unfortunately, missing a kick is way more consequential than one bad golf shot.
  5. Great PS signing! Very high upside potential with minimal risk. I see the 2 big factors in his downfall at Minnesota as the serious leg injury his rookie season, followed by a new defensive coordinator coming in after his rookie season. Now he gets his new start with his old college position coach and his new head coach loves to coach up DBs. This really has the potential to be a great redemption story. Let’s hope this potential story becomes reality over the next few years.
  6. As someone who has watched a bunch of Oklahoma football, I consider Caleb Williams to have the arm strength and athleticism of Kyler Murray and the competitive fire & football IQ of Baker Mayfield. And, I say that as someone who is not a Caleb Williams fan because he transferred from OU to USC. Personally, I am just glad he ended up in the NFC, because I think he will be a very good NFL quarterback. I should also add that I am correct 50% of the time!
  7. I watched him play as a freshman at Oklahoma and he was incredible. He has a very high football IQ & is extremely competitive. I hated to see him follow Lincoln Riley to USC. I believe he also has the physical attributes to be successful in the NFL. I will be surprised if he doesn’t become a very good NFL QB & I am very happy he’s in the NFC.
  8. Amy Grant released a very popular Christian song “El Shaddai” in 1982. It includes the name Adonai. She pronounced it “ah-doe-nigh”. Adonai Mitchell’s parents may have heard “El Shaddai” on the radio or at church. I know I did.
  9. I was a big OJ fan growing up. We moved out of Buffalo around the time he started playing for the Bills & he was the main reason any Buffalo games were shown nationwide, which was my only chance to watch Bills. Growing up a big sports fan, my childhood heroes (other than my dad) were athletes & many also turned out to be great people, like Lou Brock (St Louis Cardinals), the Selmon Brothers (Oklahoma football), etc., However, not all of my childhood heroes were worth idolizing and some are now not worth remembering….OJ tops that list for me. In the end, my only wish for OJ was for a deathbed confession, but that apparently didn’t happen, or his family will never share it.
  10. I have to admit that you did predict Diggs being traded, & his production & performance was below average for him for the rest of the season. You did miss your IR prediction, but overall it does look like a much better take today than it did then. The unanswered question is whether Diggs declining production was due to a bad attitude, a change in the OC or nagging injuries. It could’ve been all three. The way he was traded in the offseason leads me to believe his attitude was at least a part of his subpar performance.
  11. Justin Shorter will get a chance to show if he can be a contributor. Here’s hoping he’s like Shakir & Bernard & has a great improvement in his second year on the roster.
  12. That’s been the problem all along. Diggs is a me first guy. He’s been jealous of Allen getting the majority of the attention and credit. Meanwhile, Allen has been staying positive & professional & covering for Diggs crappy attitude for the last couple seasons. Diggs has & will stab Allen in the back.
  13. I’m not sorry to see Diggs go. He’s totally self focused, not team focused. He will be rejuvenated in Houston for the first season or two, as he will be driven by perceived slights by Buffalo. Be ready for Digg’s negative cryptic shots at Josh Allen & all things Buffalo over the next 6 months. Unless Houston wins a Super Bowl AND. he is given credit for it, expect Diggs to return to negative, cryptic Diggs for Houston in a couple years. We really need a great WR & S through drafting or trades, but I expect a breath of fresh air in Buffalo and a whole lot less egg shells in the locker room to step around.
  14. Approximately 2 years, if history repeats itself.
  15. Minnesota fans warned us. We should have noticed Diggs has an expiration date closer to a loaf of bread than twinkies. He is too self focused to be a team player on a long term basis. I just wish Beane could figure out a way to move Diggs without wrecking our roster.
  16. This was just too easy. Almost every take of FilthyBeast is unpopular here. Of course, almost every take of FilthyBeast is popular on KC or Miami message boards.
  17. Being in Oklahoma, I’ve watched Worthy play in several games for Texas. I thought he really avoided contact last year, but did improve on that somewhat this past season. Still, I will be surprised if he can stay healthy. You can only avoid contact by running out of bounds so many times in the NFL. I hope Buffalo doesn’t draft Worthy.
  18. Looking at that board, if it is real, I would guess wide right. I hope she wins big this week. I never watch the show, but may have to this time, for a Bills fan chance at victory .
  19. One more question for cap experts . Can Buffalo negotiate a Diggs trade where the other team takes on at least some of Diggs dead cap $? If that’s possible, wouldn’t it be worth taking a lower round draft pick for Diggs if it significantly reduced the dead cap hit.
  20. I’m trying to look at this as objectively as possible . We scored more points tonight than any previous KC opponent. That includes missing a simple 44 yard field goal. If we hadn’t been decimated by defensive injuries the previous 2 weeks, I think we would’ve won the game. If Milano & Bernard can stay healthy next season, we should have a good defense. We need to draft WR, S, WR, in the first 3 rounds. Get a new kicker & try again.
  21. Quit injecting facts into the argument. Some Bills fans want to blame Allen no matter what.
  22. He is supposed to have hurt his foot. His problem tonight was his hands. He dropped 2 big passes. He also fumbled one one of his few catches.
  23. Mahomes overthrew 2 consecutive receivers in the end zone on back to back plays. KC had to settle for a FG. If Allen had done that, there would be those saying those 4 points cost us the game. BTW, the KC kicker made the FG.
  24. Shakir has really played well. I am excited for us to use him more next season. I would only sign Davis for a $5-7 million per year, 1-2 year contract. I would trade Diggs if you can get any decent offer for him without too much of a cap hit. I would draft a WR in the first round & sign a good free agent WR.
  25. I didn’t do the poll because it really does depend on when & where interceptions occur. It also depends on how the other team does, are there other turnovers, etc. Here’s interception information for BOTH QBs for this season: If Josh has no interceptions we are 4-0 If Josh has 1 interception we are 7-4 If Josh has 2 interceptions we are 1-1 If Josh has 3 interceptions we are 0-1 If Mahomes has no interceptions, KC is 6-0 If Mahomes has 1 interception KC is 3-5 If Mahomes has 2 interceptions KC is 2-1 So, overall if Josh throws at least one interception, we are 8-6. If Mahomes throws at least one interception, KC is 5-6. * Mahomes played one less game, sitting out week 18.
