  1. Exactly. Did we miss something? Wasn’t that Josh Allen leading us 90 yards down the field for the go ahead TD with 2:40 left. Wasn’t that Josh Allen throwing an incredible 36 yard pass to Diggs to lead us to the game winning FG in less than 20 seconds? Yes, JA has struggled at times, but he’s still a great QB & he had no yips when the game was on the line today.
  2. 2 RZ TD passes for Allen today. He also rushed for another. RZ offense got it done today, & we won the game.
  3. Championship winning QBs usually have to be game managers much more than great play creators. With Allen, he is our biggest great play creator. Even today, on 3rd & 11 he runs. & drags 3 defenders for the first down. He evaded a least 2 probable sacks (for most QBs) & turned them into 20+ yard runs. He evaded the rush & completed 2 big passes on 3rd & 15 in the 4th quarter. But, on that last drive I thought he was trying too hard to carry the team across the finish line by himself. He ran the ball halfway down the field and took good hits on both carries. He actually did hit Knox in the hands with a pass to the end zone. However, his poor game management decision led to the game ending int. I hope coaches focus Josh on game management this week. The (mostly self-imposed) pressure to be the game winning play creator is adversely affecting his performance, in my opinion.
  4. I agree with the idea that they should have run clock , but just like almost every other questionable coaching move, it can be counter with player mistakes. In this case, Diggs dropped a 3rd down pass that would’ve been a huge first down.
  5. Your 1 month old needs to be your priority! If being a Bills fan bothers you, you need to take a break. You can always watch replays of games later, you don’t ever get a replay of being a part of your child growing up.
  6. I think your “ultimate underdog” comment is part of Bills culture, like the Cubs and Red Sox. Both of those fan bases were loyal and long suffering. Now we just need to break threw for a championship like they both eventually did!
  7. Benford played well overall, I like him. But, he did have 2 big mistakes later in the game, whiffing on Dalvin Cook at the line of scrimmage and unnecessarily interfering with Jefferson on a 2nd & 22 pass in OT. I agree the salary cap limits how much high level depth a team can have. We’re playing a lot of inexperienced DBs right now.
  8. I wonder if the concept was to clear out the field for Allen to run, if possible. That’s been one of our most effective plays…..have Josh avoid the rush and run for a first down. He averaged 14 yards per rush today!
  9. Hope you’re right! If we somehow win out, I’m confident we will be the #1 seed. In other words, I don’t think the Chiefs will win out.
  10. Justin Jefferson made incredible plays down the stretch. I’m not sure how many of those would’ve been prevented by Hyde, Poyer, White & Elam. I’d hope enough to get us the W, but I don’t know.
  11. Seriously, Josh already puts way too much blame on himself after any loss! He needs to get some weight taken off his shoulders, not more weight added to it.
  12. McDermott needs to work on the mentality of Josh & the entire team. Josh needs to quit trying to take the whole team on his shoulders. He always takes the blame for any loss & passes credit to others on wins. You can do that publicly at press conferences to be a good teammate and leader, but you can’t do that to yourself internally. When you start getting down on yourself it can snowball on you. I agree Dorsey needs to have a calming, encouraging effect on Josh. Objectively, Josh wasn’t the only one to make bad plays. We had 2 key drops late 4th quarter by Diggs & in OT by Knox. Our defense gave up a 27-10 lead. We gave up several key 4th down plays. Winning & losing is a team thing. We need a whole team reset this week. It’s not too late to save the season.
  13. Among the many players we missed today was Spencer Brown. His RT backup (#77) whiffed on the Jets #47 & cost us a bad hit on Josh’s throwing arm & a 19 yard loss on our final drive. We went from 2nd & 2 with 1:17 left to 3rd & 21 with around :40 left. That play alone may have cost us the game. It was another 4 man rush play that we couldn’t handle.
  14. Keenum would’ve been sacked 10 times & would’ve thrown as many or more ints.
  15. I’m surprised he isn’t our starting slot receiver yet. McKenzie isn’t getting it done.
  16. Josh Allen also ran for 2 touchdowns and improvised on several of our good plays. Yes, his passing was off on several plays, but the play calling was subpar today, the o-line was getting beat without any blitzing & other than Diggs, the WRs had a bad day, too. We expect Allen to carry us every game. We need others to step up, too.
  17. Can’t afford to lose very winnable games, especially division games. We really missed Milano on defense because Milano, not Edmunds is our Pro Bowl linebacker. Josh had a rough passing game, but almost carried us with his running. He actually came through on the final drive, but a Dawkins holding call & a Davis drop/uncalled PI stopped us. Hopefully, we will be motivated enough not to let this happen again.
  18. Jets have applied pressure without blitzing all game. That’s been a key to their defense.
  19. Other than the first play of the game, our only good plays are Josh Allen avoiding the pass rush & either running or throwing. We are not fooling the defense at all.
  20. Milano vs. #43 is a huge difference on defense! We used to have better backup LBs.
  21. I was established 13 days later ( also in Buffalo)!
  22. Watching the replay is so much more relaxing, although McKenzie’s spastic plays still frustrate me! We really need to play Shakir more than McKenzie.
  23. It’s way too early, but the current standings have Buffalo as the one seed & we have already beaten the current 2, 3 & 4 seeds. Even with the tough Miami game, we’re off to a great start!
