  1. Yes, but that was a big fumble, at our own 10 yard line. And, it came in the first NE game this season.
  2. After watching Burrow’s press conference today, I’m again so glad Josh Allen is our QB!
  3. I hope it was just the snow. He also appeared unwilling or unaware to make any effort to get away from his defender on Josh scramble/rollouts. I don’t understand any receiver not doing anything possible to get open on a Josh Allen scramble play. I thought every receiver wants the ball thrown to them.
  4. After watching a replay of Sunday’s win over the Bengals, I don’t trust Coleman either. His rounded, lackadaisical attempt at a deeper crossing route almost cost us an interception. His quick slant is the only route I would throw to him. Even his go route isn’t much, & he shows minimal desire to fight for the ball. He really plays like he doesn’t give a crap way too often. I was hoping he good WR for us, but I will be surprised if he ever does.
  5. After savoring this win, watching highlights & reading comments, there’s one main thing I take away from this game: Josh Allen just hates to lose! The number of very big plays Josh made, with most coming in the 4th quarter, were amazing, even for Josh. -He threw 2 different 4th down TD passes. He had to extend both plays and make the passes outside the pocket. -He avoided a 6 man blitz & ran 40 yds for a TD. -He scrambled for 17 yds. on 3rd & 15 to shut the door on Burrow and the Bengals. Josh was determined to do whatever it took to win this game. It really was a classic Josh Allen game! I’m so glad he was rewarded with a victory!
  6. That was a high risk, high reward throw. That’s why it making that throw as a last resort on 4th down, made it a necessary throw, not a reckless throw.
  7. But at least he didn’t throw an interception. That would’ve hurt his passer rating and caused a dozen experts on the internet (along with hundreds of his own team’s fans) to explain why he shouldn’t have thrown it. They might have even stopped the video of the play millisecond by millisecond to make their point. Taking a sack lays all the blame on your teammates, and keeps the blame off of you. Of course taking a sack gives your team a zero percent chance to win in that situation, while trying to force in a throw before getting sacked actually gives your team some chance to win.
  8. Unfortunately the Cincinnati coaches DID blitz and play press man coverage on that 4th down. The exact opposite of Buffalo’s no blitz and soft zone on key passing downs. Coaching matters Edit….we finally blitzed..second down, but at least we did!
  9. The Cincinnati defense has to do what we did, no blitz & a soft zone.
  10. Soft zone on 3rd & long, with no blitz = first down for every decent NFL QB. Somehow McDermott has never figured this out.
  11. That’s an awesome video, it’s well worth taking the time to watch. Thanks for posting this ChronicAndKnuckles !
  12. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get him out of the shop.
  13. Slay says he’s from the south and Buffalo’s too cold. Yet he’s spent his entire career in the north. Also, he signed for this season with Pittsburgh, which isn’t exactly a tropical paradise. Slay is full of it. If I’m Buffalo, I use this as motivation. It’s a perfect Buffalo vs everybody rally cry. This 2025 Bills team hasn’t seemed very motivated compared to previous seasons. We’ve been too “professional “. Maybe this will be a slap in the face to get us on a December-January-(hopefully) February run.
  14. If Buffalo’s defense can tighten up & somehow be healthy for the playoffs, we have a chance to win it all. Especially if Kincaid can also get & stay healthy . NE is on a roll right now. Someone, hopefully us, needs to cool them off. Overall, there’s really no dominant team in either conference. For a neutral fan, this could be an exciting NFL playoff! For me, it will again be stressful, game after Buffalo game!
  15. I love watching Kincaid play when he’s healthy. But, I always wince when he gets tackled because it seems every 2nd or 3rd time he’s tackled he’s getting up slowly or grimacing. I don’t know if adding 10-15 lbs. of muscle could make him less injury prone, but he just seems way too fragile for a TE.
  16. That’s exactly what I saw. Josh is throwing as Shakir is blocking his view of the DB. Warner stopped the tape 3 times when this happened and he kept saying he wasn’t sure what Josh saw. I think it was what Josh didn’t see, the guy behind Shakir.
  17. Burrow wouldn’t have made it through our Houston game. He’d be on IR right now.
  18. Josh Allen….a dirty player? NO! The guy that accused Josh….a dirty player? YES
  19. My son & I have noticed this for years. If Josh starts the game slow or looks nervous, he usually plays much better after he has taken a hard shot from the defense. In his younger days, we always thought it best to call a running play for Josh on our first drive.
  20. Hopefully it’s not a repeat of last week. Emmanuel Acho’s video review of the Houston game clearly showed NO ONE getting open on all 8 sacks. It also showed our o-line getting beat very quickly on almost every play. Anyone who watched the video knows the answer isn’t “Josh needs to get rid of the ball quickly “. The answer is better play calls, shorter routes, misdirection plays,, draw plays, something, anything to give Josh a chance back there!
  21. In the 3 losses he played in (Atlanta, Miami & Houston), Moore was targeted a total of 7 times. He had 3 receptions for a total of 6 yards. He also had 1 rushing attempt for -1 yard. So, we ran 8 plays his way and we gained 4 total yards. He was definitely not a difference maker for us! Most of the times he made a catch this year, my first thought was “who’s #18?”
  22. What makes this even worse is we weren’t missing any WRs that would’ve made it better. We were missing Kincaid, but that’s it. I really hope Beane & Pegula both watch this video. There’s no excuse to field a group of WRs that inept with an elite QB on your team. Again, we can’t even blame it on WR injuries.
  23. It’s easy to post criticism like this thread if you pretend everything’s in slow motion and you can instantly reposition your body and throw. Knox came open after the throwing motion was started. More importantly, it was 4th down and Josh knew he had to QUICKLY get the ball out before the Houston defender diving at his legs resulted in his 9th sack. Getting sacked on 4th down at the end of games happens to NFL QBs more than people realize. We’re just accustomed to Josh NOT doing that. Josh played a good game considering the constant heavy pass rush and getting hit over and over. I’m just glad he avoided getting injured.
  24. As bad as that game was, we came within a few inches of Gabe Davis getting his second foot down at the 2 yard line. We would’be almost assuredly won the game. Our o-line was getting destroyed on almost every play. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen our offensive line get whipped like that. Houston does have a great d-line and great athleticism throughout their defense.
  25. 4. Willing to wait a couple years to start while studying our incredibly tough to learn defense at McDermott University….check
