I remember watching that play unfold and as he was cocking his arm back in the back of of the end zone I thought to myself, “damn, that’s ballsy.” Straight up fired a bullet right between two defenders into Beasley’s chest.

I've watched that throw at least 20 times. It still doesn't make sense. It shouldn't be possible to throw the ball that hard/fast while moving the body so little.

The way I see it we're at least guaranteed the division the next couple of years. Sure the AFC is pretty dang stacked but its all concentrated in the AFC West. It's gonna be like before where the AFC beats up on each other, the Pats (now the Bills) quietly dominate their division and squeak out enough wins to comfortably get a high or the #1 seed and waltz into the playoffs fairly healthy and ready to go.

I'd hardly say we passed, I'm sure BB made phone calls but other teams just had more to trade or were more willing to give more away later to win now. It was also always going to be a mid season rental given the cap situation the Bills were looking at in the offseason.

If anything, I am pretty jazzed that the work/football culture at OBD is so good that a lot of players happily saying "those were the best years of my life/career" out loud on social media. That speaks volumes, a winning organization also helps (who am I kidding, it helps A LOT). This is how you get good players to play for you for less than market rate. If you can intangibly create a work environment that fosters the good in people and gets people to reach for more than they thought they could achieve you can consistently make something that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Maybe, but man's turning 70 this year and will definitely go down as the greatest (if not one of) NFL coach in history even if he has a couple of uneven years towards the end.
