  1. Considering he's been averaging a healthy 8 rushing TDs per season, that estimate looks right on the money.
  2. Josh Allen has 2 fewer rushing TDs than Fred Jackson. That one made me go “what”.
  3. Come to think of it, I've never actually seen a Philip Rivers led team actually nail one of those come from behind drives. He always got them close, but it was always desperation heaves that resulted in a sloppy int or turnover on downs.
  4. Probably combination of required/recommend infrastructure work to support extra vehicular and foot traffic along with funds that will be required to acquire any extra land that might be needed to support the stadium and surrounding complexes. Also extra survey work to determine any environmental impacts, assess soil quality and any potential remediation efforts required.
  5. We have more mouths to feed and Josh has realized this year that he can throw to his TE's and RB's as well. All is well.
  6. I love Fitzy but I don't ever want to be a fan of a team where he's the backup QB. I'm way too stitious for that.
  7. He's a young kid, on a nationally televised show with a first ballot hall of famer and his brother (who'll prolly also get into the HOF on the back of two signature wins against Tom Brady in the Superb Owl, but otherwise career can be described as "fine") that he probably grew up watching on television. You could tell he was being extremely guarded, making sure he picked his words carefully and not take any obvious bait that could be twisted any particular way or used as bulletin board material. I also think that being on camera gets in Josh's head a bit and he comes off as somewhat stiff and wooden.
  8. I think he's played well enough to earn getting his 5th year option picked up. Unless he makes the pro bowl this year that option would be ~$10m which I would take any day. This gives you some room to make a decision as he plays on his 5th year option and give you some runway to extend some other folks first (Edmunds). If he keeps playing the way he does I'd come with a 3 year deal and try to make it average out to somewhere between $11-13m a year (would put him top 10-15 range of DT salaries), depending on how the cap shifts I'd like to see if I can get the cap hit down into the 8-9's through various contract negotiation mechanisms (signing bonuses, etc). I think he's worth money, but not top 10 DT money. Mostly due to production and the fact that the Bills run a platoon style defensive line so you gotta be able to spread the money around to 8 guys instead of 4.
  9. Other than lack of a sacks this defense, at least statistically, looks to be just as good as the 2015 Broncos defense that lifted the shambled corpse of Peyton Manning to win a Super Bowl. This is a championship caliber defense.
  10. I think we tried to do that in the first half and we basically looked like dog****. We were running 10 personnel, using more WRs to make up for Knox being out. Its when we switched to 11 in the second half and kept in extra blockers we were able to give Allen more time in the pocket to let some of those crossers over the middle for Beasley to develop. We have a really strong team and its going to be anyone's guess as to who is going to shine this week. If I was a defensive coordinator it would drive me nuts that I need to respect the run out of 10, 11 personnel. I need to have at least 3-4 strong DB's to cover Sanders, Diggs, Beasley and Davis. Knox (and to a degree Sweeney) are effective safety valves for layups and dumpoffs. Allen is a threat to take off for chunks if you play tight man and lose contain.
  11. The Dolphins reminded me of so many drought era Bills teams in yesterday's game. I felt bad for them (if only for a moment) because I've watched so many BUF-NE games that were exactly like this.
  12. He’s been dinged up/hurt the last two years. I feel like the price in draft picks, plus his contract and injury history will not make this deal worth our while.
  13. I think Colts will definitely be in contention for a WC down the stretch. AFC is loaded but Reich knows how to coach, Wentz looks like he's figuring ***** out, their running game is good/great, their defense is above average and they know how to win ugly. It's just like last year where you spend half the year wondering if the Colts are good or dog**** and then boom, they're in the playoffs. I'm thinking that game against them on 11/21 is going to be a lot more difficult than a lot of people think its going to be.
  14. The New Orleans Aint's New York Just End The Suffering
  15. It blows my mind what they can do with robotic instruments and surgeries now, and how small the incision areas are now for access since they have cameras etc. These kind of midseason surgeries on complex parts of the anatomy like joints, hands, fingers etc would be completely unheard of 15 years ago, or would have required major incisions and a lot more recovery time.
  16. Didn’t they prove this already, coming back from a 16 point deficit to win against the Jets in week 1 of 2019?
  17. Geno Smith: I can’t keep coming up short *takes 10 yard sack to setup 4th & 28*
  18. that last series of run, run, sad desperation throw had the Dick Jauron stink all over it.
  19. There’s a part of me that’s hallucinating Flacco in a Jets jersey playing for Gase. Just checked, he did play there last year.
