10/13/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Falcons MNF Gameday Thread
uninja replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
4 catches for 60 yards, 2 TDs -
Game of inches. A pick six, couple of turnovers on their side of the field, I think they blocked a punt or FG as well. It’s not hard for a game to sometimes get away from you if a couple of balls bounce the wrong way.

I mean the media needs something to talk about. Membah when the Jets signed Rodgers and they were the favorites to win the division? How’d that go? Membah when we most all them defensive players and people were taking Miami to win the division? How’d that one play out? This year it’s the Pats and Drake Maye to make it interesting, we’ll see how it turns out.

Where’s the juice at the position of Wide Receiver?
uninja replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
We got Coleman for a second round pick. We have Metcalf at home /s -
Always thought he'd make a pretty good safety if age/injuries caught up to him

And considering the cast of WRs he had to throw for that Super Bowl run it's honestly even more impressive. People can crap on Cam all they want, for the few years he was he was at his peak in the league he was a force on that Panthers team.

And I love how boring and workman-like it looks. Just 4 yards here, 6 yards there, 10 yard run, 8 yard pass. The explosive plays and 'omg did you see that' aren't a requirement for the offense to work anymore and it's honestly for the better.

Anyone ever been to Mercedes Benz stadium?
uninja replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly don't understand the hype for Chick-fil-a, people talk it up as if it's the second coming or something. I finally went and was like, "it's chicken." -
I mean Hyde and Poyer weren't washed until they were and they both fell off a cliff fast. Just because he was a good safety a year ago doesn't mean he's still got it. If a team like the Eagles was like "nah we're good" I think that's enough for me to also think the same.

Yeah I know people like to crap on Tre because he gets burned at times and commits some mental errors because he knows he can't match a WR's speed a lot of the time (the goal line TD to Waddle was dumb, giving that much cushion was a guaranteed TD whereas if he played press man at least he had a shot to disrupt the timing or defend the pass, but I digress) but he understands his assignment well and plays well within the scheme. He's just not a burner and never has been, fast WRs were always his kryptonite.

I was somewhat hopeful in the first half but without a kicker they were playing with one hand tied behind their back. The second half was just them running out of steam. How many Pats-Bills game did we see where we played them tough in the first half and just got cooked in the second cuz they knew we weren’t going to score.

Some Thoughts re Bills This Season and Miami Game
uninja replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall
I still think with it being early season the Bills are content with running what’s working and letting the games come to them. No need to put too much on tape early, just work the running game and the underneath stuff. Play methodical ball control, control the clock and just calmly put 28-32 on the board every game. -
Watch the highlights, someone from the dolphins was coming in unblocked from the left side and that may have rushed/hurried Prater because he feared the kick getting blocked
-
I know we kinda like to crap on Knox here but between Kincaid, Knox, Hawes and Gilliam we might have one of the best TE rooms in the league. What I've witnessed from Kincaid so far this season has been really encouraging but honestly the biggest surprise (to me at least) has been Hawes. The fact that all 3 of them (Knox, Kincaid, Hawes) seem to be legit receiving threats while also being great blockers just opens up the offense in so many ways and makes it really tough to defend.

no way that’s getting overturned in today’s NFL. It has to be clear and obvious, and it wasn’t. This isn’t the old “what’s a catch” NFL anymore. When they showed the replay I’m glad we didn’t challenge, it would have been lost and a waste of time.

ya'll need to freaking relax. It's not going to be pretty most weeks, especially against a divisional opponent. This had all the air of those old Pats-Bills games where to have even a shred of a chance of beating the hoodie and TB12 the Bills had to play an absolutely PERFECT game and pull out all the stops and 9/10 it wasn't enough and the smallest mistake was the difference between winning and losing. The fins were desperate and gave us EVERYTHING they had and we still won by 10 while missing a FG and playing a little sloppy.

I mean you're not wrong but this is part of JA and his game, he's a gamer and is gonna play tough no matter what

Tony Romo -“It’s like Nick Sabans Alabama teams against MTSU”
uninja replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
Romo also mentioned during the broadcast, “just win this play/down, move on to the next.” Allen of today is cool with 1st&10, 2nd&6, 3rd&2, 1&10…repeat. -
Man that's some OL and RB slander. James Cook is a force, many teams would love to have a Ty Johnson on their squad. The OL is GOOD and many pieces on it are paid accordingly.

This is why I have issues with DL rotations sometimes. If a guy is feeling it you let him cook.- 23 replies

A few Random Thoughts After the Ravens Game
uninja replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Monken/Lamar/Henry offense has always given the Bills a ton of issues, I don't think the Bills defense is quite as bad as it looked on Sunday. There are very few teams that can play offense the way the Ravens do and it seems like after years of us completely having Roman's number on containing LJ8 the Ravens now have the horses and the scheme to put of serious numbers on this defense. We're 3-1 (I think?) against this version of the Ravens and all those wins have been nail biters.
