  1. The nepotism runs deep there. They need to get some good people in that front office and make Jerry sit back and enjoy being old and rich.
  2. Texans have always played the Chiefs tough, and were doing well against them until Dell's knee exploded. I don't know that their receiver situation is advantageous and their o-line is definitely shaky at times but Stroud has made it work when he has to through that. I give them a slim chance of beating the chiefs, but the Texans are one of those teams like the Bengals that manages to give them fits.
  3. I dunno, sure all coaches aspire to more but think about the job security both have here and the talent they have to work with. If I'm either of them, especially Brady, I'd be real careful about where I go. None of the available options currently strike me as particularly inviting, that may change after the postseason. The grass isn't always greener.
  4. Surtain is elite if you need him to take away one guy or a side of the field. Problem is, Bills can throw it anywhere and they run enough trickery in their passing game that you can usually force one defender to freeze or be a step slow and in a favorable matchup.
  5. The Commanders are playing with house money and like they have nothing to lose. Bucs playing like they’re trying not to lose this game.
  6. Watson is done as a player. He busted his ACL, had shoulder surgery, a ruptured achilles and now a re-rupture. If I'm the Browns I'm swallowing the medicine, eating that contract and just taking the best QB on the board at 2.
  7. I feel like the Steelers for the longest time have been a team good enough to make the playoffs but not good enough to play in the playoffs. Tomlin gets a lot out of his players but the warts and cracks really show themselves when the competition gets stiff.
  8. I agree but man division games are weird. We almost lost to Skylar Thompson in a wildcard game.
  9. Is this finally the Sam Darnold pumpkin game?
  10. Allen definitely cares about it. It's a point of pride for a lot of QBs, hell when Eli Manning's streak was pointlessly broken it got McAdoo fired so that should tell you something.
  11. Allen is taking that opening snap to get the start, better believe it
  12. Trent Williams
  13. I feel like every year there’s 4-6 personas that need to be established on the team (the coaches pet, the overly aggressive defensive player, etc) and it doesn’t matter, the team will have them. This place will make sure of it 😂
  14. I’d take a 10 point win even.
  15. I mean division games are always a bit funky. I could see this being closer than it should be.
  16. I mean that's a pretty cherry picked stat considering they played the Eagles, Chargers and Giants those last 3 weeks. Two of those offenses just suck and can't score points and the Eagles didn't need to score more than 24 to win that game.
  17. Let the memes begin
  18. The offense feels so different. With Dorsey it felt like every play was “try Stef or Gabe, if not open begin insane Josh Allen stuff” This offense feels like it creates bad matchups for other teams no matter what they do.
  19. narrator: they were not
  20. and Hollins coming up to push
  21. Because many people like to watch Josh Allen do the football things
  22. His run blocking is elite
  23. The Lions learned that you shouldn't play man if your men aren't better than the other team's men
  24. Fr guy was having the game of his life.
  25. Also realize that they played an almost perfect game. That offense had to play it basically perfectly, executing key 3rd down after 3rd down, Kupp/Nucua made some INSANE catches all while extending drives, almost doubling TOP vs the Bills. Despite all that, the Bills almost came back and difference here was a blocked punt returned for a TD. So yeah I think our offense is better because to beat the Bills you have to play a perfect game.
