It's also been trending to have TE's more involved in the passing game and having their presence create a much more complicated picture for a defense if you have a big dude that can block, catch and truck people. If you have a very good TE on your roster you are a MUCH more complicated offense to defend. See Gates with the Chargers, prime Gronk in NE, Kelce in KC, Kittle with the 49ers and Waller in Las Vegas. If Knox can have that kind of effect on our offense, and he's been trending in that direction, he should definitely command a salary that rewards him as such as complicated as that makes it for Beane and the FO.

I feel like this just means the Eagles are going to make the playoffs because they play in a ***** division and then get bounced from the playoffs in super wild card weekend, just like last year.

The Ringer Recommends Barkley (Saquon) to fill a need This season...

I would say that since that article has generated a 3 page thread and likely a couple of hundred clicks its done its admirably, the journalistic quality of its content notwithstanding. -
Cowboys draft room looks like an evil lair.

He’s just so much more valuable as a slot/speed/jet sweep guy imo. Yeah he busts out some big returns but I don’t like boom/bust players in that role. In that respect the 2 years of Andre Roberts we had were perfect. He practically always caught the ball and always turned it into 10 yards and sometimes a bit more. I’d much (MUCH) rather have a boring dependable returner that occasionally busts a long one than an exciting one where I’m clenching my ####### tight the moment the ball flies into the air. I don’t want another Leodis McKelvin back there, ever.

Bills Sign former Titan OT/OG David Quessenberry
uninja replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
I want to say the pass pro issues with Quessenberry could partially be attributed to the fact that Nate Davis was downright putrid at pass pro at the RG spot. Wonder if Saffold also had a bit to do with this signing. -
Waffle House in Buffalo and/or Rochester would be 🔥

There's other angles, he's not nearly as close as this picture makes it look like he is. I know we all want to dream, but no.

Four Years of Josh, Four Years of Great Moments
uninja replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember watching that play unfold and as he was cocking his arm back in the back of of the end zone I thought to myself, “damn, that’s ballsy.” Straight up fired a bullet right between two defenders into Beasley’s chest. -
Four Years of Josh, Four Years of Great Moments

I've watched that throw at least 20 times. It still doesn't make sense. It shouldn't be possible to throw the ball that hard/fast while moving the body so little. -

Lord that’s hilariously depressing. The drought sucked.

A look back at some 2021 Draft sleepers a year on...

That's a cameo for next year's East/West college bowl for sure. -
For sure, the line was absolutely better when he was in it. I hope he stays as well. Still though, 12 pages?!

I just can't believe there's an 11 page watch thread about a backup guard possibly getting poached off of the team that just signed Roger Saffold, OJ Howard and Von Miller. Bills fans are the best 😂

Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
uninja replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way I see it we're at least guaranteed the division the next couple of years. Sure the AFC is pretty dang stacked but its all concentrated in the AFC West. It's gonna be like before where the AFC beats up on each other, the Pats (now the Bills) quietly dominate their division and squeak out enough wins to comfortably get a high or the #1 seed and waltz into the playoffs fairly healthy and ready to go. -
OT: The sudden existential crisis in New England

I'm sure the pool of available leads dries up a bunch when you don't have Tom Brady recruiting for you. "The Josh Allen effect" -
All things considered it worked out alright for him. I try not to hate on players too much for making business decisions. He was a good dude when he was here.

I'd hardly say we passed, I'm sure BB made phone calls but other teams just had more to trade or were more willing to give more away later to win now. It was also always going to be a mid season rental given the cap situation the Bills were looking at in the offseason.
