On the first defensive series against Detroit, Bernard, Milano, and Dorian Williams were on the field on 2nd down. The play was a run to Montgomery that went for little gain. I think they didn't again on the 2nd defensive series. After that, injuries started piling up and so I don't think they went back to it. I think there is some interest in having Bernard, Milano, and Williams in against certain looks. A lot less likely to get injured when you're the guy jumping on the pile at the end of the play.

I am most worried about the likely matchup against Baltimore in the Divisional Round. My only bit of optimism comes from the fact that the defense was without Bernard, Johnson, and Milano when they played in Week 5. Was Rapp out that game, too?

KC is going to get a cakewalk matchup in the Divisional round and walk into the AFC Championship about as healthy as a team can get. We're looking at the 13th consecutive year that feature the Patriots or Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Dynasties are so f****** boring.
