  1. He led the team in receiving last week. Just saying.
  2. There is just no slowing down the Fins fan express around here, or the fair-weather Bills fan parade that this board has become. Both the Fins and the Jets are about to come crashing back to earth, and all the breathless teenage girls around here gushing over their magnificense and bemoaning the Bills lack of winning in apparently the right way recently will be jumping back on the bandwagon soon enough.
  3. Nice theory, just does not happen to be true. While fan perceptions are certainly otherwise, the Bills offense has ranked one or two in the NFL all year, in points and yards. Some good information can be found here: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/points-per-game
  4. Poor you. You are so misunderstood.
  5. So a team with a mediocre defense signs a DT off the Bills practice squad who cannot make their top 5 DTs. Should I be upset about this? He is a serviceable depth DT but it is not like he about to make some major leap to star status.
  6. Of all the silly conversations around this board lately, uniform color and odds of winning is perhaps the silliest. Maybe you should offer your lucky rabbits foot to McD for the game?
  7. Not nearly a thing, though John Wawrow will probably try to make it one.
  8. I thought perhaps by Friday the idiots would have been cleared out and we could get back to rational discussion of the upcoming football game but based on this on many other examples, apparently not. Maybe tomorrow.
  9. It seems a little premature to hand the East over to Miami or NYJ in week 10, whether or not they rest Allen and whether or not they beat Minnesota. Neither of those teams are going to win out.
  10. His posts don't make me sad. They make me feel intellectually superior.
  11. They drafted Bernard with that eventuality in mind, whether it’s next year or a another year or two down the road.
  12. Being discussed in the game day thread of course, but some posters have to LAMP.
  13. I doubt that was a last minute decision. There is absolutely no reason to risk Tre on that lousy field against an anemic pass offense. He has had what, two weeks of practice? After sitting for a year, no preseason, training camp, etc? He was never going to play today. Let him have another week of practice. They need him against the Vikings.
  14. I guess everyone is assuming that Gardiner will shadow Diggs. Maybe. If so, I am sure the Bills can find a way to take advantage of that to free up others. (thinking lots of movement) If not, Diggs will go off as usual.
  15. Bills 34 Nyets 13 Lots of hype surrounding the Jets defense, and yes Gardiner is a difference maker and they are playing more consistently than last year. However, a look at their results per opponent this year and the defense does not seem that impressive to me. They have played some awful QBs, including the toothless Rogers led Packers. The two good QBs and teams they faced, the Bengals and Ravens, both hit them for three passing TDs and a Jets loss. The Bills have played against Saleh three times now, once as DC in SF, and his defenses have failed to hold them to under 27 points in any of those contests. None of the games were close. I think McD and staff have his number. I will believe the Jets defense is as good as their rankings when I see it, and I have not thus far. (looking forward to watching CJ Mosely chase Josh Allen around again today to no good effect) Defensively for the Bills, it is pretty simple - make Wilson beat you. He can't. No Poyer today? No problem. Rest day for Milano? No problem. The Jets are just not at the Bills level and will be exposed today. it is always possible the Bills could beat themselves with turnovers and make this game closer, but I do not expect it. I am sure McD had them under the whip this this week regarding maximum effort and playing smart. P.S. Sure hope I am right!
  16. This is a great summary of what actually happened. And, oh by the way, the Bills won the game by 10 and they were never in danger of losing. Let's move on.
  17. Dodson backs up Edmunds. Bernad backs up Milano. It has been that way since preseason.
  18. Missing Poyer against the Vikes would be a much bigger problem. Hope is good for that game.
  19. I agree. He is not a whiner on the order of Brady (or Mac Jones) who is in a class by himself. He will lobby for a call when he gets hit late. All QBs do. They are taught to do that. On the other hand when he runs, he delivers blows and does not complain about the hits he takes.
  20. Beane has said exactly the same thing regarding OBJ before, several times. It is really up to OBJ at this point being able to demonstrate an ability to come back and play (and be productive) this year. I think that is a long shot.
  21. I like this move. He is definitely a step up in athleticism and potential over Hodgins who had pretty much topped out based on his limitations. Let's see what the Bills can do with him. Perhaps next year's training camp star?
  22. How do you figure he never got much of a shot here? The Bills kept him around through multiple injuries and kept giving him opportunities to make the roster as a contributing player. He never rose to the occasion. They very likely would have signed him back to the practice squad if he was not claimed, Giving him yet another opportunity. I wish him well with the Giants. He has a better chance there as they have an inferior roster.
  23. I listened to it and I would not infer that at all. A "vote of confidence MacKenzie" was not asked of him nor was slot WR even a topic of discussion.
