  1. That’s a possibility…there’s a potential out in his contract after 2023
  2. I’m telling you, it isn’t a given that Araizia replaces Haack based on what Beane said. Remember the Bills had a punter with a pretty strong leg in Bojorquez. They replaced him with Haack, knowing that he wasn’t as powerful as a punter, but that was an excellent directional punter and holder. If that’s what they value, than I think Bass has an inside track on the position. Araizia is going to have to impress in those areas to win the job. I guess I could see a scenario where Moss is traded, though my guess is he will assume the TJ Yeldon inactive RB3 role. Im not a fan of Epinesa, but I think his job is safe considering the Bills brought back a veteran like Shaq to push him. He’ll have to have a terrible a TC to get released/traded. The WR room could get interesting. The only players I’m certain of will be Diggs, Davis, and Shakir. I don’t anticipate Crowder or McKenzie get cut but Shakir has similar attributes, so you never know. I think the last spot will be interesting with Kumerow/Hodgins/Stevenson
  3. Yeah I heard that. It was almost as though he was trying to talk him up. That’s why my takeaway was that the punting job was his to lose. If Arazia is going to be another Bojo, they’d rather have Haack
  4. He really isn’t… Bills fans don’t want to hear this but it’s going to take a strong TC for Araizia to unseat Haack
  5. I read this too. The more I learn about Araizia, the less I think he makes this team. Fans don’t like Haack, but I really think Buffalo would be confident with him as punter - knowing that he helps to kicking game. Beane even called him an “elite” holder and that he was coming off a bad season. I think he gets ever chance to make the team
  6. I meant I had no personal knowledge before the pick. From what I’ve read he’s a smaller player who lacks size and physicality. It sounds like his best position in the defense is where Milano plays and he would not be a replacement should Edmunds walk. Most analysts had him in the 4th or 5th round and his comps were not that great - depth LB and Special Teamer. I just feel for the Bills could have gotten better value in Round 3 based on players who were on the board. Again just my quick reaction. I am sure the Bills have a plan for how they want to use him. But at first blush, this isn’t a pick I would have made in Round 3
  7. A little from column A….a little from column B
  8. I have not idea who this player is but I did not like this pick and hated all of the 6th round draft picks
  9. What’s the issue with Becton? I know he had kind of an up and down rookie season and that he was injured last season.
  10. That should never be lived down. He made this statement 14 weeks into Allen’s second year too. It was ridiculous then and looks worse now
  11. Just a sick freaking route. Davis and Allen…damn they deserved better
  12. Buffalo IS a small market by every metric. It’s ranked as the 53rd market. If you were to combine markets in other cities as you suggested, Buffalo would probably rank the same.
  13. My feeling is that the interest might be a slight embellishment. But her point about a market like Buffalo having an NFL team is spot on. That’s why I don’t really care that NYS and the county are pitching in so much to keep the Bills in Buffalo with a new stadium.
  14. A super bowl move if there ever was one!
  15. I hate to admit this but I really liked those old Houston Oilers team. Between the baby blue uniforms and Warren Moon at the held of a run-and-shoot offense, it’s a fun team to watch.
  16. I think this is most likely
  17. WR’s have a tendency to hit the wall after 30….hard. The only way Buffalo moves on from Diggs is if they don’t want to give him a giant deal. Still, I think they wait until after the season like KC did with Tyreek
  18. No the bust with the bad back was Tourell Troupe. God….Buddy was terrible
  19. How could you not remember him. He was a 3rd round bust but did have giant hands and blocked a couple field goals. That’s the extent of his NFL career
  20. Nah this happened early last week. Not related to Gilmore
  21. The best was when the Bills run game sucked and fans called for the Bills to start Wade. He wasn’t even eligible!
  22. I didn’t watch a ton of college football but I remember reading that Darnold had the highest floor out of any of the QB’s and that sounded good to me in 2018. His attitude and work ethic always made him seem like a Process Guy too. I’ll always wonder whether Darnold would have been the Bills pick had he been available. I do think that after NYJ leapfrogged Buffalo for the #3 pick, they set their sights on Allen and he became “the guy.” But was he their first choice for QB’s from the start? Or he their first choice based on how they anticipated the board falling?
  23. I’m in the same age bracket as you. I always liked the Bills because they were local and my family would buy me the gear, but I started watching when the team was rolling in 1990. I do think the Super Bowl years had an influence on my fandom, and in way losing 4 did as well - because they were so close and you wanted to see them get to the top. Plus it might have been the best collections of talent/personalities in franchise history . I am pretty sure I would have still cheered for the Bills because they were local but I do wonder if my interest would be like how it is for the Sabres. You pull for the team, want them to do well, but if they don’t it’s just like “meh.” I don’t lose my mind if they suck. Then again NHL is not NFL. The strange thing for me was seeing so many fans in the 20-30 year old bracket lose their mind when the Bills made the playoffs in 2017. For some it was the first time they could witness success as a Bills fan. In fact I see a lot of younger fans tailgating on game days. So perhaps, you are correct and many Bills fans would be just as fanatical regardless of W-L record.
  24. I think Hill will certainly help Miami but many have speculated that he’s going to miss catching passing from a threat like Mahomes. If Tua has to be game manager, Hill will help but he’s not going to be the same player. It reminds me of when the Bills signed TO or Sammy to get the young QB over the hump
  25. This was a fun game to watch. This was the season before I started watching football but I’ve watched this game several times since it was posted on YouTube. - The actually game looked so much more physical compared to today. The players look bigger in their bulky shoulder pads, giant face masks, and cowboy collars. So many tackles/hits would be penalties in today’s game. - Kelly’s offensive game gave him a TON of time to pass. On the last drive alone he had so much time to be patient and find his receivers. - Thurman had such a burst back In 1989. - Harmon’s drop was pretty bad. He should have made that catch even by 1989 standards. His specialty was as a pass receiving back and that was a catch he should have made. - Kelly’s INT to Matthews was a really bad decision
