  1. This was a pretty cool and organic gesture from the Bills fan base. It got a little old when Bills fans started to do the same thing whenever anyone trashed the fan base or when the Bills owned Lamar. I’m all for charity and giving back but there were plenty of good causes in Buffalo - including Josh Norman’s venture - that didn’t get as much support
  2. Hell no. There’s at least 58,000 season ticket holders. 700 is nothing and actually I’m surprised the number isn’t higher.
  3. I think so too. I’m not a fan of establishing a running attack but I think they need to run more time when facing a lighter box, especially when facing a strong pass rush
  4. Peyton is actually really good at describing what’s happening on the field - especially with the QB’s and play calls. He’s kind of entertaining too and would make a great game analyst Eli is ok. He talks less and tries to make jokes at his brothers expense. I feel the show is missing a host to keep things moving and balance out the conversations between the Manning’s and the guests but overall it’s cool to watch.
  5. I was watching the Manning’s during the game tonight and the was that Detroit defended Rodgers was almost the same as defenses are doing with Allen - dropping 7 or 8 with 2 players deep. Peyton talked about the importance of a check down game or calling a running play. He said that playing that type of defense is basically saying “we don’t think you’re patient enough to check it down and will force it in double coverage.” I think that Beasley and Sanders could be really helpful here
  6. About the same amount for Levi Wallace’s dirty “taunting” penalty
  7. I’m bummed because now we don’t get to hear Bills fans embellish Tyrod’s stint at QB and how he singlehandedly broke the streak! Seriously though, just another terrible break for Tyrod. Between a bad situation in Buffalo, and injuries at every stop since, his career has been very unlucky The Texans? Or the Dolphins?
  8. I think fringe wild card is Tua’s ceiling as QB. I think that if your team is good everywhere else he can take you to the playoffs. But I don’t think the team goes anywhere
  9. If you take the 2nd quarter out of the mix yesterday, Allen ended up with a decent day.
  10. It’s not a perfect comparison given the college careers and draft status but there are similarities. Fans really want Tua/EJ to succeed and will make a million excuses for him, despite the fact he doesn’t really pass the “eye test” and it doesn’t seem the org is 100% behind him. The funniest argument from Miami fans was using Tua’s 7-3 record as starter as evidence why he is a better QB than Justin Herbert. It’s funny but Fitzpatrick won one of those starts for him and the Miami defense won the other 2 with a turnover to end the game.
  11. Do you think the score is any closer or that Miami capitalizes on some of the empty 2nd quarter trips to the red zone? I know the sample size was small but it seems like Tua was a deer in the headlights and while his OL did him no favors I think his head was spinning with the free blitzes that were coming through
  12. This is what I’m thinking. You give him time to show his potential. If he doesn’t, then don’t re-sign him to a big contract
  13. I think Miami never really had much of a long term vision from the start - I think this is largely on Flores. Last season should have either been about making the playoffs with Fitzpatrick or developing Tua. Flores tried to do both and ended up finishing the year with neither goal. I think the way the QB position was handled in 2020 did him a disservice. Then it seems like Miami was at least entertaining the thought of replacing him, so much that it took Flores weeks to make a strong statement of support. Even the offense they have running this season with 2 OC’s just seems a little awkward. It just doesn’t seems like the organization is very confident in him. I would have a lot of questions as well - but they were the ones who drafted him at 5th overall a year ago!
  14. Tua looked completely lost in the first two series. Some of those hits were on him, especially the one where Parker was covered as his 1st read and he couldn’t figure out where to go and got blasted. I kind of feel bad for Tua because it seems like Miami never really went all in with him. Everything really seems to add up that Flores and the organization, are not 100% behind him.
  15. He was so awful. There was another time when Epinesa almost sacked Brisette and Rosseau got credit. He used some weird acronym like “JOP” jumped on the pile.
  16. It happens every time they play in Miami. Tons of Bills fans show up, Miami fans bolt for the exits, and Bills fans move down
  17. Not making excuses for Josh. He was paid to be a top 5 QB and he needs to play like it. BUT…I went back and watched the game. There were really three big throws that he missed. One was to Singletary down the sideline, the other was the INT where his accuracy was just off enough to allow Howard to make a great play, and the other was the deep shot to Diggs which probably is a TD if he doesn’t under throw. Even with these issues, he still led the Bills down the field 5 times resulting in scores. If you want to take the Singletary TD run out, it’s 4 scores. Overall it was a pedestrian day but it’s one of those games where the team didn’t need him to ball out. There will be those games and he needs to show it
  18. The promotion lasts until 12/31 so you’d think that you should be able to get one at some point soon
  19. I’m wondering if Bills Elvis is vaccinated. He’s on team no-mask
