Not only that. Josh is a damn good flopper! And he definitely try’s to draw the hit at times too, just so he can flop and get the penalty call on the D. Josh is the ultimate competitor, he will use every means (legal I’d imagine) possible to win the game.

NFL messing up a good thing (Pat McAfee)
Tanoros replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did you miss the part about them paying $4 million to use NFL content? It sounds like they just received word it can only be game clips and not logos. It’s a little misleading by the NFL to not make that clear when someone is paying millions to use their content, like noting what can and can’t be used. -
I believe he is referencing the jet sweep td by McKenzie in the Packers game. The jet sweep in the video by Hines has a similar look, Eric’s trying to say Hines might be doing some McKenzie stuff.

NFL Week 8: 10/30/22 GAMEDAY BIlls vs Packers Pregame Thread 🎃

100% agree with this take. Spending more time with the young wr would have only helped, regardless of what the players have the right to skip out on. -
Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
Tanoros replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I forgot all about that, but I remember after reading. I can see why many would hold a grudge, but that was many years ago and I don’t even think we have any players left from that Bills team. Beckham was 22, and I’m sure he has been humbled some since that time. If the current Bills players/staff want him here, I do too. -
How in the hell did Nathaniel Hackett become an NFL head coach?
Tanoros replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a common failure for any industry though. It’s so common to see people hired into a leadership role because of their knowledge/skill doing X job very well. However, like you mention, leading a group of people is very different from actually doing the work. This failure in hiring the right person (people leader) definitely isn’t exclusive to the NFL. I’ve seen it all the time in my career (construction). -

In the past I’ve read one of the biggest indicators of success, is who you know. In my personal experience I’ve hired someone I’ve worked with before vs someone I didn’t, simply because I knew what I was getting and I was happy to have it. -
Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation
Tanoros replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
OBJ should definitely be brought in if he will come. McKenzie has struggled some and although Shakir has looked good, he is a rook. OBJ looked good before injury and him, Diggs, and Davis would be very hard to handle. Imagine Allen with those 3 weapons, that would be very fun to watch. He would also provide good insurance. -
NFL Week 7 2022 TV Broadcast Maps and Schedule
Tanoros replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is SF defense still banged up? They only had 4 of 11 defensive starters last week and I believe one of those 4 was lost due to concussion. -
Perhaps, but look at this board. It’s not like that and I’m sure the Bills have had many band wagon jumpers in the last couple of years. The mods here do a fabulous job and I think that’s part of what’s missing on their board, lack of leadership setting the tone, causing the place to spiral out of control.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are worth infinite draft capital.

For me personally (eye test that is), I thought Lamar looked better passing last year than the previous years, and this year it looks better than last. Lamar’s throwing has certainly improved from what I’ve seen (but I also don’t watch every Ravens game, but I do watch a lot of condensed games replays). Either way, to me personally, I’ve seen growth in his passing and I think Lamar is here to stay in the NFL, even on a new team. This year atleast, Roman isn’t doing so good with the run game. Lamar has had some good running, but they can’t get anything going with the rb’s, yet Lamar is still having a great year, and his improved passing is a part of that. -
I loved hearing the information about visualization that Von and Taiwan bring to the team. This is something I’ve been practicing for over 10 years and I can personally testify that I changed my life drastically adopting this approach. So cool that Von is talking about visualizing a championship at the lunch table each day.

Don’t they always have end zone cameras? It’s just that we are backed up to the end zone, so it’s zoomed out, rather than zooming in. The perspective is quite low though, I wonder.
-
Ofcourse that is supposed to be Cook. But he is a rook and we are ready for a Super Bowl run. The odds are (baring injury) that CMC gives us more this year than Cook. That’s entirely realistic.

This is a good point. The teams in the NFL are generally all very close, typically the games being separated by a play or two. So a good QB, can absolutely be the difference maker in a win or loss. Our current team is insanely good. This isn’t the norm. There are generally only a team or two each season this good. I imagine, over the course of Allens career our team won’t be so dominant every season, but we’ll have Allen and he will win those close games more often than not. For now, we get to enjoy dominance and blowouts routinely. Thanks for sharing

It’s Doyle out for the year with an ACL injury? -
Extremes are never the right answer. Carrol won a SB after coming from the college ranks.

If Allen stays healthy, will Bills win 11 in a row?
Tanoros replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any Given Sunday and all that. It’s hard to expect any team to go on a 10+ game run. We definitely will come up against some other challenges, I just didn’t consider the Miami loss as laying an egg, that’s a total over exaggeration. Even though Baltimore was a challenge, we overcome two big time early turnovers that cost points, and we shut them out the second half. Good teams overcome struggles, and we did. Not every game is going to be perfect, especially against good teams, and Baltimore is a good team. -

I don’t consider the Miami loss as laying an egg. Laying an egg is how we lost to JAX last year. The Miami loss is as good of a loss as can be possible. If not for the heat exhaustion, Josh hits McKenzie for a td and we win. -
You realize the Bills dialed it back and where not concerned with points? It was no turnovers, no injuries, and no giving away of anything special play wise like pre season. That’s what they wanted to do, and it was a success. Your assuming you know what the strategy was when Keenum came in, I don’t think your assumption is correct.

Sounds like he wants to go to another teams practice squad that has a better chance of leading to him being elevated, because it’s clear we weren’t going to.
