  1. It's not like our rookies even get a chance to play.
  2. I wanted Diggs during the 2019 season. I wasn't on this forum then but on Reddit.
  3. Once we add TO to shore up the WR room, they'll be unstoppable.
  4. Is anyone saying that? I'm certainly not, and I've been advocating for changes. Signing washed up, overpriced guys who have retired from the league twice isn't something I'd like to see the Bills do however.
  5. Should probably grab Bruce Smith to play opposite Rousseau and get Stevie Johnson in the slot while we're at it.
  6. You need to define "the killer instinct" for this thread to have any semblance of meaning.
  7. I can only hope that the Saffold invite is some kind of disguise for an intervention or something.
  8. Let's not invest anything in RB until the OC proves he remembers the running game exists. This can include screens too.
  9. Not to pile on, but look at Jerry Hughes as another example that makes me suspect of the coaching. He goes off to the Texans and starts producing immediately, not just pressures. Fraizer needs to go, we have two overly conservative coaches running the defense. We need a perspective shift to complement McD.
  10. I would swap Dorsey for Moore in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.
  11. Much rather see Babitch take over than Frazier stay.
  12. He might be following the blueprint, but let's not pretend that his stamp isn't the defense as well. The slow to adjust in game management is Fraizer. The defense doesn't adjust, and they don't change up the gameplan, formations, etc... We need to bring in somebody who is hungry to prove themselves. We have McD to mentor someone like that. If we can have a rookie OC with basically no safety net (not that I agree with it), why can't we try something at DC with a safety net?
  13. He always looks like he forgot his glasses. He's not a bad guy or a dumpster level coach but it's time to move on. I'd love to see the Bills Bring in someone young and aggressive that McD can mentor.
  14. He was good when he had Luck. I still would have loved to see him be our OC.
  15. Sacrifice so media outlets like WGR can say "See, they're making changes. You know what I mean?" even though Frazier will still trot out the most basic scheme that relies on our players just being substantially better than theirs.
  16. You can't trust the defense in football. Any defense, not just the Bills. The game is heavily skewed to offense. Going against that and putting your hope in the side that's inherently disadvantaged is foolish.
  17. Why title your thread about Dawkins and then write more about the defense?
  18. I think we'd definitely kick ourselves letting him go, but I want to give him the exact same contract as Milano + inflation. I doubt it'll get it done though. He's going to ball out somewhere else with a DC who lets him play free.
  19. I'm not happy with McD right now either but I don't realistically think you could get anyone to replace him that would be an upgrade. He's a top 10 coach in the NFL, arguably a top 5. The best course of action is to replace the defensive coordinator with somebody young and aggressive, which would balance nicely with McD's conservative nature. I don't know what you do with OC. Frankly, I'm not excited to see Dorsey again but I can understand that it's probably a long shot that he gets fired. I'd love to see Reich in at OC, proven successful OC in big time situations.
  20. It definitely should have never happened, but I felt better about the team and our prospects moving forward. With how ugly this loss was, and how utterly unprepared the coaching staff seemingly was, I just don't feel good about the state of the team. The Bills will still be good, but until the coordinators get shipped out I don't trust the coaches to get this team into the best positions to win games.
  21. That's what I don't have faith in and I think it's probably why we have differences in mood about this. For what it's worth, I hope you're right. I can't see the pressure from ownership to make the necessary changes.
  22. Two days removed and I'm still gutted by it. It feels worse than the 13 seconds loss.
  23. Yeah, I hate to be that guy, but come on. The whole city and fanbase has had to deal with a lot of crap all season too, but we don't get mental health excuses on the most important days of our livelihoods either. The coaching staff should have tailored a gameplan sensing the "low energy/morale" in the room too. Set it up so the offense gets going easy, do some stunts to get a few hits on the QB. Ease them into game and let them get into rhythm. Instead we had that abomination of a gameplan that relied on Allen doing it all and then some. It's a failure of the coaching staff to recognize and adjust plans accordingly.
  24. I don't see it. I wanna see it, but I don't see the accountability. There wasn't anything after 13 seconds, I don't believe that there will be here either. As much as I want to see Frazier replaced, I just don't see it happening. McD likes him way too much.
  25. You're right, it's not over yet, but my confidence in the staff is at an all time low. I expect the Bills will still be very good, and they'll win a lot in the regular season, but I don't see them turning the corner in the postseason anymore without a major philosophical shift.
