  1. He did a great job of doing that last year against most teams #1s, and I think he wants to show he’s a 1b and not a 2
  2. How much more attention do you need? Just delete it already! Let me guess, you were also offered scholarships in high school to go play football in college, but you hurt your shoulder and had to turn them down. Bet when you tell people that story it gets you lots of attention too Don't you just hate it when those pesky facts get in the way of your narrative?
  3. I think we all agree that him running is a HUGE weapon. It seemed that as the season went on he did a much better job of avoiding the big hit. There were a couple of those runs (and some that weren't on there) where he took some huge hits though, and I remember on a couple of them wondering if he was going to be okay. I do think he will continue to get better at avoiding the big hit, however that being said it is fun sometimes when he takes on those big defenders and he's the one that ends up winning
  4. This hypothetical is clearly coming from 20 years of no playoffs, always looking ahead to the next draft, what guy can we trade to get draft picks, if we just get this one guy the team will be amazing...For some people it takes longer to shake that feeling than others
  5. I know this trade has been discussed over and over again, but your use of the word significant implies you think it was a massive overpay on the Bills part. What do you think a fair trade would have been for him? What is he going to have to do to justify the trade? I think just by adding him and now Moss the Bills have become incredibly difficult to defend
  6. So you feel that the Texans team that barely beat the Bills in the playoffs that had Hopkins on it would beat the Bills again right now without Hopkins? I also think the Titans are taking a HUGE gamble on Tannehill repeating what he did last year. If he plays like (or slightly above) the Tannehill we saw before last year, they will struggle to make the playoffs
  7. Just curious, who were the better options at that point?
  8. This is not to say the Ravens won’t be good, I do think they will be very good, but I think that offense will regress by a good margin. The thing that will carry them is their defense. The Bills put out the blueprint to beat them, the Titans followed that blueprint. As great a seasonal Lamar had, he still hasn’t shown he can get the ball to his wide receivers. if Josh makes the jump we are hoping he makes, the Bills are just as good if not better than the Ravens
  9. There’s a other QB from the NFC south looking for a job and a certain team in the AFC east that didn’t draft a QB...... (and yes I know it probably won’t happen, it’s still fun to think about the dynamic of Cam and Belichick trying to get along)
  10. I can’t believe there’s 22 pages on this guy and it seems like half of the posts are about the guy’s reaction to being picked. People are still really butt hurt over Gilmore’s reaction all those years ago and the whole “whoa is me no one wants to play in Buffalo”victim attitude. Just listen to the kid speak, watch him play, and we all know he’s going to love it here!
  11. But it’s not even close to a fair trade. You are trading a first round pick for a second round pick. Even if you just take a look at a couple of the lists that have been posted on here, these lists are 20 guys long-that tells me there isn’t that ONE guy who the bills have to have. Plus it keeps getting mentioned that the Bills really don’t have a NEED anywhere. So again I have to disagree, not a fair deal at all
  12. People go nuts when you give up a future first to get a first round pick, and now you want to suggest doing it for a second round pick? Let's say that the Bills make it to the AFC championship game, that means that they wouldn't pick until around the 60th pick next year. No guy who is currently left is worth sitting out the first 60 picks next year
  13. I was just scrolling through some updated mocks and I saw a couple of them having the Bills take an OL in the second. With the amount of playmakers and edge guys out there, if the Bills took an OL in the second round I would be extremely disappointed
  14. When you thought up this topic, what did you honestly expect the answers to be? At no point should anyone EVER feel bad when their team wins a championship
  15. These GM’s are paid millions of dollars, have multi-million dollar scouting departments, have been talking about these guys for months and you think all of a sudden their opinion is going to change because Peter King says he is no good?! Wow, just wow
  16. While $20 million is obviously a lot of money, why would he play for a team he doesn't want to play for and risk injury and miss out on $80-$100 million, if not more? If he signs and Jacksonville doesn't trade him and he blows out his knee or achilles then he would cost himself a ton of money
  17. It's better than the red ones they had with the Patriot on the helmet bent over ready to, uh, receive it. If those ones weren't the worst uniforms in the league they were a very close 2nd or 3rd worst
  18. With Diggs in the picture, it's going to be really hard for teams to keep up! Sure a team like KC has a better offense, but they don't have the defense if the Bills offense gets rolling. Bills showed last year that they have what it takes to contain Lamar as well. This article definitely has me drinking the kool-aid right now, and I love it!
  19. I like the black on black, the throwback, white on white and white on black. Don't like the ATL on the front of the jersey though
  20. There is a reason why Barkley was still available when the Bills picked him up, what was it, 10 or so days before he had to start a game. Everyone likes him, gets along great with Josh, he had ONE great game against the Jets, but why is this the one spot people keep fighting for to not improve? I simply cannot for the life of me wrap my head around why so many people would rather have Barkley as the back up over Cam or Flacco if those guys were willing to come here and be the back up. Or if not those two, you mean to tell me that there is not one other guy some of you would like to have here to play the most important position on the field other than Matt Barkley in the event that Allen get hurt? Again, I think he a good guy, but you are completely 1,000% lying to yourself if you feel that position can’t be upgraded
  21. Wait, the Steelers moves up 6 spots? What exactly did they do to move up 6 spots? They didn’t upgrade any position-yes getting Big Ben back is nice, but that’s a huge jump! It has also been known he was coming back, so I’m confused...I just don’t get it
  22. I can’t help but think if the Bills has just kept Brandon Reilly and Austin Proehl they would have never gotten into this mess, I mean there’s two #1’s right there!
  23. So let me start this by saying I am thankful there are so many level headed people in regards to this trade. NO, the Bills did not give up too much in the trade, not at all. They didn’t even give up a ton or “pay a steep price.” Perhaps I missed it in the massive Diggs thread, but the ones who are saying the Bills gave up too much are not saying what they would have given up or where they would have drawn the line. So if you feel they gave up too much, please enlighten me on what would have been a “fair trade.” (Insert eye roll at that phrase)
