  1. I don't understand the apparent genuine shock that Brady and the Bucs will be on prime time so often. He's a big story and he went to a team that is going to be fun to watch. He's not in the division any more, like it or not he IS a story and people want to watch him, so I think we all need to stop being so butt hurt and enjoy our 4 prime time games and our AFCE title!
  2. Pittsburgh will be coming off a little bit of a brutal stretch too. If you check their three games before the Bills game, they play 2 games in 4 days! Yes they then have 10 days until their next game but the second of those 2 games in 4 days is against Baltimore! Again while not ideal, it’s not terrible. Plus the fact that we can talk about 2 straight prime time games means the league thinks the Bills will be pretty good!
  3. I get what you’re trying to say but I think you are sensationalizing it. It’s not like they get back at 5am and then have to play that night then get a plane and play in Denver the night after that. While not ideal it’s not that terrible either
  4. Well didn’t you see their reaction on draft night? They clearly hate it here and are pushing for a trade...think John Skelton is available?
  5. Good point-I guess I’m just hoping we are past the point of NEEDING to put Andre Holmes on the field as a receiver
  6. ^this-if one of those guys goes down the Bills could be in trouble. Hopefully Knox and Singletary improve significantly which would lessen that blow, but past the first 3 receivers they’re still lacking
  7. So what would you pay (presumably as a free agent) to get him? Has he shown anything at this point that’s different than what Goodwin did here? Literally the only difference between the two is that Ross got drafted in the first round. Neither guy can stay healthy, so you can’t count on them to contribute
  8. what has Stidham shown at any point that should make people think this highly of him? Was it his underwhelming career at Auburn? He was a late round pick for a reason. The Bills won’t take him lightly, but let’s not anoint him the next Brady yet
  9. He did a great job of doing that last year against most teams #1s, and I think he wants to show he’s a 1b and not a 2
  10. How much more attention do you need? Just delete it already! Let me guess, you were also offered scholarships in high school to go play football in college, but you hurt your shoulder and had to turn them down. Bet when you tell people that story it gets you lots of attention too Don't you just hate it when those pesky facts get in the way of your narrative?
  11. I think we all agree that him running is a HUGE weapon. It seemed that as the season went on he did a much better job of avoiding the big hit. There were a couple of those runs (and some that weren't on there) where he took some huge hits though, and I remember on a couple of them wondering if he was going to be okay. I do think he will continue to get better at avoiding the big hit, however that being said it is fun sometimes when he takes on those big defenders and he's the one that ends up winning
  12. This hypothetical is clearly coming from 20 years of no playoffs, always looking ahead to the next draft, what guy can we trade to get draft picks, if we just get this one guy the team will be amazing...For some people it takes longer to shake that feeling than others
  13. I know this trade has been discussed over and over again, but your use of the word significant implies you think it was a massive overpay on the Bills part. What do you think a fair trade would have been for him? What is he going to have to do to justify the trade? I think just by adding him and now Moss the Bills have become incredibly difficult to defend
  14. So you feel that the Texans team that barely beat the Bills in the playoffs that had Hopkins on it would beat the Bills again right now without Hopkins? I also think the Titans are taking a HUGE gamble on Tannehill repeating what he did last year. If he plays like (or slightly above) the Tannehill we saw before last year, they will struggle to make the playoffs
  15. Just curious, who were the better options at that point?
  16. This is not to say the Ravens won’t be good, I do think they will be very good, but I think that offense will regress by a good margin. The thing that will carry them is their defense. The Bills put out the blueprint to beat them, the Titans followed that blueprint. As great a seasonal Lamar had, he still hasn’t shown he can get the ball to his wide receivers. if Josh makes the jump we are hoping he makes, the Bills are just as good if not better than the Ravens
  17. There’s a other QB from the NFC south looking for a job and a certain team in the AFC east that didn’t draft a QB...... (and yes I know it probably won’t happen, it’s still fun to think about the dynamic of Cam and Belichick trying to get along)
  18. I can’t believe there’s 22 pages on this guy and it seems like half of the posts are about the guy’s reaction to being picked. People are still really butt hurt over Gilmore’s reaction all those years ago and the whole “whoa is me no one wants to play in Buffalo”victim attitude. Just listen to the kid speak, watch him play, and we all know he’s going to love it here!
  19. But it’s not even close to a fair trade. You are trading a first round pick for a second round pick. Even if you just take a look at a couple of the lists that have been posted on here, these lists are 20 guys long-that tells me there isn’t that ONE guy who the bills have to have. Plus it keeps getting mentioned that the Bills really don’t have a NEED anywhere. So again I have to disagree, not a fair deal at all
  20. People go nuts when you give up a future first to get a first round pick, and now you want to suggest doing it for a second round pick? Let's say that the Bills make it to the AFC championship game, that means that they wouldn't pick until around the 60th pick next year. No guy who is currently left is worth sitting out the first 60 picks next year
  21. I was just scrolling through some updated mocks and I saw a couple of them having the Bills take an OL in the second. With the amount of playmakers and edge guys out there, if the Bills took an OL in the second round I would be extremely disappointed
  22. When you thought up this topic, what did you honestly expect the answers to be? At no point should anyone EVER feel bad when their team wins a championship
  23. These GM’s are paid millions of dollars, have multi-million dollar scouting departments, have been talking about these guys for months and you think all of a sudden their opinion is going to change because Peter King says he is no good?! Wow, just wow
