  1. In all honesty, I’m not surprised. I haven’t really seen a “clean” performance from the O yet, I keep waiting for it to bite them in the @$$ and really, only in Miami did all the mistakes cost them. Give it any excuse you want, the last play was far from the only one they completely blew. This team and yes even Allen can be MUCH better. It is scary, I hope we see it for the second half of the year.
  2. I think people are severely over estimating the Jets right now. They have caught a lot of breaks and are finally decent enough to not miss them. They are a decent team, but far from contenders. The Phins are ok, they could be explosive, but their QB situation will be a problem no matter who is playing. I hate the Patriots and I’m hoping they finish around .500, but if they end up stealing a WC spot I won’t be surprised. If the Bills handle their own, they will take the 1 seed and nobody else will matter.
  3. Please. Allen has shredded that team every time he played them and he should have at least had the W last time, that’s going to be a satisfying ass whoopin in Dec.
  4. Moss for Akers straight up, not need a change of scenes.
  5. That’s a virtually impossible task.
  6. Yeah, unfortunately I think Miami would be a great place for him to land. I’d hate to see it, but it would actually make sense if they can work out a Tua for Old Timer trade in the off-season.
  7. I think Miami makes sense. I don’t see SF giving up on Lance yet, 3 1st round picks is a hard pill to swallow and give up on him. I don’t think he would go to Indy, they are pretenders, not real contenders.
  8. Just because a blind man can see it, doesn’t mean the team does. Carolina was convinced they were a contender after 4 games last year 🤣. I agree, I think the window has closed on the Rams, they are going to have to blow it up, but I could see McVay going all in for a last shot to win before he “retires”. Aaron Donald seems like he’s come unhinged too.. I worry that guy is going to try to kill somebody.
  9. 100% he should have hung it up, but I genuinely think he took the money grab opportunity. I bet you he will ask for a trade or hold the Packers hostage again this off-season, try to get them to give him a buy out to retire or some BS. He’s going to get 100M for 2 years of service, he’s smart to take it, but if he can avoid doing it anymore, I bet he will.
  10. I think you are dead wrong on that. I could absolutely see a contender who loses their QB try to swing that, the problem is going to be the contract. It would probably require the Packers converting all the salary to bonus and paying it out before trading him to make it work for another team. If Stafford went down, I could see the Rams going for it. You have to look at the windows of opportunity that some teams have and think it might be worth it. Wilson got a great return for Seattle, and Denver ponied up big money to him… regrettably at this point.. teams get desperate.
  11. He said it himself, he’s old and ***** hurts. He has absolutely nobody to work with outside of a pair of decent RBs. The Packers screwed him year after year in terms of bringing in talent, I think he took them to the shed on his last contract and doesn’t give a crap anymore.
  12. Dabs has NY playing solid ball, with very little talent out there, but he hasn’t turned Danny Dimes into an All-Pro. I will give credit where credit is due, Daboll is having a much larger impact that I imagined he could in NY, which makes me believe he was in fact a larger part of righting the ship here than he got credit for. That said, Allen is Allen, he’s absolutely a Generational talent. Dabol certainly gave him frame work to make things happen, but Josh has taken it well beyond what anyone could have hoped for. He’s an absolute monster.
  13. Shakir should absolutely be in. I sincerely hope OBJ comes in and McKantcatch gets cut for him.
  14. Absolutely see why McKenzie is a nobody in the league, great talent, failure in execution. If he doesn’t see the field again this year I’m fine with it.
  15. McKenzie and Frazier should be cut at half time, it’s time we get this half time retirement right.
  16. He’s def not playing up to that contract, but he’s not offensively bad.
  17. McKenzie is absolutely my biggest disappointment this year. He’s back to unreliable at best, definitely understand the low value contract now. That last throw damn near ended his year.. at least he tried, I guess.
  18. You took the time to write it out and I think you hit it on the head. I don’t think it was necessarily a bad fit for Alex Smith, but Kaep’s legs made it more dynamic. Flacco definitely did not fit the O, no question. Jackson has absolutely killed it, he’s basically the perfect fit for what Roman wants to do.
  19. Look at the QBs he has worked worked with, who got better after he left?
  20. I’m in for Moss straight up.
  21. I’m just happy they have 2 QBs, as we know, “If you have two, you don’t have one.” Reminds me of Todd Collins vs Alex Van Pelt, good for them.
  22. This is definitely a product of just taking what’s there. We almost NEVER saw Diggs or any WR for that matter, get a quick screen pass outside. With soft coverage constantly, flipping it out to him has been like a free 7 yards, might as well take it. Also, not hating on him, but Beasley was absolutely awful for the YAC yards, Captain catch and dive killed YAC stats. As defenses adjust to that quick flip more, I suspect you will see the YAC start to fall off a little, but if Cook or CMC start getting the ball on short throws and making something happen, it might come back up.
  23. Man, I was thinking Tre White on some other KC dude named White.. this is way less exciting.
  24. I never said “every single time you have a 4th Q comeback, you were ineffective the first 3Qs”. I said, it makes you wonder why you are behind so often if you are the kind of comebacks. For Manning, Brady, etc, they played a lot of years and you expect they would fall behind at times. I’m more surprised to see Brady having that many because I remember a lot of the glory years where they blew teams out, but we tend to forget the days where they ground a lot of games out, running the ball a lot. Manning used to to run a very balanced attack as well. It’s not a big shock they would run early, and make the plays needed to win late. Carr plays in a different era, if you are coming back in a passing league, either A) your team sucks or B) maybe you do as a QB. It’s a little of both for Carr. He’s been pretty clutch, but the Raiders often struggle to get anything going and that’s more why he has the comebacks IMO.
