I wanted him too. Of all the DE’s, I thought the two that were least likely to be Bills were Rousseau and Oweh. They are just so raw. However, it’s clear that the Bills like to bet on elite traits and have been rewarded with results in guys like Allen. I also thought the covid opt outs were going to play a bigger role for the bills. They want guys that love football, but Rousseau and Brown seem to have pretty legit reasons behind their opt outs.

I agree. I wanted Etienne and thought he could have helped take this offense to the next level. People seem to be blinded by “no running back in the first” that they ignore Etienne’s playmaking abilities. He’s so much more than a RB. And he’s got years of productivity. I hope Rousseau turns out to be great. He’s got all the tools but he’s beyond raw. However, the last time the bills bet on traits, we got our franchise qb...so...

Really? I think you missed the point. He’s always had “speed” issues. You can work out and get faster. What you can’t do is add weight and expect to correct a speed problem.

Not impressed one bit. He’s already slow and I’m not sure how adding muscle will help him catch a screen pass.

Count me as one that is glad that happened. It made the players angry and I will bet that if we had won that game we wouldn’t have gone on the long win streak.

I don’t get the “long run” argument. This team is ready to win NOW. Another playmaker could have taken us over the top and allowed us to keep up with teams like the chiefs.

I’ve said all along...taking a corner early isn’t a priority to Beane. McD took Tre in the first and he has his bonafide number one. Mcd’s history shows that he plugs a late rounder in at CB2 and he’s able to coach them up.

I agree man. Beane has been talking out his butt about wanting touchdown makers but drafts two DEs with his first two picks? One of which is a huge project. I don’t get it. I mean I can understand one, but two was a little overboard.

I would LOVE Moore. But I think first round RBs are getting a bad rap. Etienne is compared by many to Alvin Kamara. I think any team in the league would take a guy like that on their team.
