  1. Is that why she is your ex? Because she's 3 levels below your service speed?
  2. Just finished reading this thread and I'm shocked that in 2020 there are still people (yeah I'm looking at you JoshAllenHasBigHands), from whatever generation, who still think various forms of sexual harassment are mild forms of hazing. Sexual harassment is sexual harassment. Hazing is hazing. Like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart wrote about pornography, I may not know how to define it but I know it when I see it. I guess you missed that day of Constitutional Law class at the highly ranked (sarcasm) Syracuse University College of Law. Under what circumstances is "teabagging" a teammate ever acceptable? I participated in high school sports, including football, and I have coached high school sports, including football, for many years, and I have never seen any form of hazing. You know why, because the intelligent adults in the room made it clear that it would not be permitted or tolerated in any form! I sure am glad that no one who ever coached my kids thought hazing, in any form, was okay.
  3. The ad said must be willing to work some nights and weekends. Shouldn't it also say must be willing to work through early February?
  4. Love the quote from Teddy Roosevelt... and like Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders charging up San Juan Hill, the Patriots will suffer many casualties when they have to play the Bills twice next year!
  5. The simple answer is have 53 active all season long for every game. That way it's fair for every team all season long and no one can claim to be disadvantaged (or advantaged) at any point in time. I don't know whether that has salary cap implications or incentive clause implications but, if so, I'm guessing would be minimal. It just seems to me that from a player safety and quality of play point of view, that makes sense. I would love to know the League's rationale for limiting the game day roster to such a low, arbitrary number, especially as the game has evolved and we have more specialization by players while at the same time having more injuries.
  6. Pat Kirwan on NFL Network's Moving the Chains has been advocating for years that the NFL increase the game day roster size and practice squad size. Given the number of injuries in the NFL and the NFL's claimed interest in player safety, he is dead on right. I expect that if the season is lengthened to 17 or 18 games the League will absolutely have to consider this.
  7. God my hands are killing me from clapping!
  8. I used to enjoy listening to Booger when he was on Sirius in the morning with Ross Tucker. He was funny and always had some good insights into the game. But he does not really fit into the format of a three hour game where there are just two guys having to fill in time talking about just that game. He gets repetitive and states the obvious way too much. They really need to make a change (again) to make MNF relevant and watchable.
  9. You want coaches to have skin in the game...If their challenge is not successful, bring them back to the medical tent to be circumcised. We already have a neurologist on the sideline, why not a moyel too? That will cut down on the challenges for sure.
  10. If Hauschka makes any attempt to tackle #19 we wouldn't even be talking about our ST coordinator.
  11. Leslie Frazier. That was a brilliant move having Tre blitz from the corner during a critical passing down. No one would expect you to blitz your top corner in that situation. And whatever adjustments he made in the second half for run defense made all the difference in the game.
  12. I have to admit I did not know the correct answer to a single question he was asking!
  13. You don't think it would be a good idea to bring in Green so that he and Kroft can hang out together in the trainer's room and re-live their glory days in Cinci?
  14. I got to talk to Lee for about 15 minutes at Bills training camp a few years ago (Marrone's first year as coach) and he impressed me then as a genuine, down to earth guy who loves to play footfall and loves his teammates. I love the influence he seems to have on a young TE group and I think he's a great blocker in the run game, but watching him play sometimes drives me crazy. Between the pre-snap penalties, the holding calls and all the pushing and shoving he does after the whistle (for which he is going to get called one of these days), he really needs to clean up his game. All in all, glad he's a Bill this year!
  15. A couple of times yesterday they showed a replay of Bills receivers "being covered and not getting open" against man to man coverage. It seemed to me that in those situations where Allen was scrambling out of the pocket and had to throw it away, the receivers were not either coming back to the ball or breaking off the pattern and going deep. They just seemed to be kind of giving up. Don't we practice a "scramble drill" for those situations?
  16. This discussion is like listening to someone who has a great wife but still misses his old girlfriend because she was great in bed once in a while.
  17. I find it fascinating how so many on this board perceive the Cheatriots, as if they are the only team that plays situational football, is unpredictable, specifically game plans to exploit weaknesses, creates matchup advantages, etc. Isn't that successful football coaches do? The Hoodie didn't invent these concepts; he's only taken them to a higher level than most because he stays disciplined and focused on doing the things that make a football team successful. Yeah right, Daboll is only doing things this way because he is copying the Hoodie. Maybe Daboll has learned a thing or two from the way Nick Saban coaches at Alabama too. Anyway, I look forward to the day when everything everyone does is not compared to one team and one coach.
  18. Are we really talking about cap money and FA signings for 2020 only days before the start of the 2019 season? What a buzz kill
  19. Colts coming to town...Jacoby the starting QB....what are the chances we get 3 feet of snow just before game time?
  20. Consent and waiver are "a thing" too. Probable cause for suspected criminals is a "a thing" too. "If players were smart" . . . I don't even know where to go with that one.
  21. Interesting question...will we come to a time when NFL teams do genetic testing on potential hires? They do cognitive/intellectual testing, physical testing, etc. Why not genetic testing?
  22. Weis is on every morning now and he makes it impossible to listen to that show. Every other sentence is something about "Tommy" or "Bill". He is a a smug, arrogant know-it-all who has never done much on his own but is lucky enough to have a few rings because he was in the right place at the right time. He is such a homer for the Cheatriots and should not be on a national show. What happened to Ross Tucker? He at least is mildly entertaining, especially when he tries to sing along with the intro song.
  23. I live in Syracuse and it's very rare we don't get the Bills broadcast. I have the Sunday Ticket just as an insurance policy (and to be able to watch any game I want). The Beginning 2 in East Syracuse is THE Bills sports bar in the area and will always have the Bills game. Good food and wings run by great folks from the Buffalo area.
