  1. I would put Andre Johnson, DeMarcus Ware and Steve Smith, in that order, as the best of the group, but I don't think any of them merit first ballot selection. Especially not when you compare them to other first ballot guys, like Peyton Manning and Calvin Johnson. But we're in the age of the "everybody gets a trophy" mentality so who knows.
  2. Here's to hoping Josh insisted on a clause in his contract that team cannot be moved out of Buffalo during the term of his contract.
  3. I doubt Perry Fewell will be making the reviews from NY. From the article it seems he has some kind of supervisory role over the officiating. I would think the person taking over Riveron's job would be a former official, not a former coach. I really wish the NFL would just have an extra set of eyes in the booth at each stadium on game day. This crap of having some guy in League headquarters in NY with the authority to change a call is a bunch of crap. Except the folks in New England, no one trusts that set up.
  4. The bottom of the list are all teams that have never won a Super Bowl or not in a long time. Win a SB Buffalo and watch that valuation grow! Look what it did for Tampa Bay, according to the article.
  5. This morning on the Sirius NFL Network show, the two hosts, one of whom I think was Zig Fracassi and the other was Alex Boone (former 49ers guard), were literally comparing Judge to Bellicheat and saying how he is building the Giants into a contender in the mold of Bellicheat, with the same kind of discipline, blah blah blah. Perfect timing for their take on Joe Judge.
  6. I will personally contribute money to the cost of Royale's "change". My only condition is that we get before and after full frontal photos posted on this site. And there better be some Cheese Whiz involved.
  7. We don't need Kirsten on the line....Chuck is the Senate majority leader and he would never let the Bills leave NY so long as he has anything to say about it.
  8. The 2021 definition of "infrastructure" is wildly different than it was only a few years ago. We're living in a different world brother. I can guarantee there are legislators in Congress and in Albany who can make the argument for getting some of that money directed at a new stadium.
  9. The Senate is likely to pass a $1 Trillion plus infrastructure spending bill. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that our leaders in Albany will find a way to grab some of that money and call it "infrastructure spending" to make sure the State's only NFL team gets what it needs to continue to stay here and be successful.
  10. And the nuns in parochial school made us be completely silent during nuclear bomb drills, as if the bombs could seek out gabby little parochial schools all dressed the same. I got into big trouble in 2nd grade for telling a nun "you know a nuclear bomb can't hear us talking, don't you?" Funny memories, but by the way, what does any of this have to do with this thread? I thought this was about whether fans will be allowed in stadiums.
  11. Another invasive species from Carolina, this time a bug.
  12. I'm kind of pissed that Jerry did not get the calf vaccine. As an older player, isn't he in a vulnerable group for those kinds of tweaks? What was he thinking?
  13. Future Babe, rather than a candle lit dinner, could we just eat in complete darkness?
  14. Ummm, anywhere in the stadium? Seriously, there are really no bad seats in the place.
  15. No doubt! My wife watches every game with me and and we've gone to Bills games together and she is very knowledgeable about the game. More so than a lot of guys I know.
  16. Just read the article and watched the video about the Bills Mafia Babes and the fund raiser they did for Hyde's foundation (great job Babes!). I'm curious, do any of the Babes come to this site? For that matter, are there any women on this site at all or are we all knuckle-dragging cavemen preoccupied with the important things in life, like Cole Beasley, Zac Ertz and Yards After Contact? And no, I'm not asking for a friend who needs a date.
  17. I know you hedged your bets by saying "or maybe we're in great shape", but do you really think we might be in trouble with Trubisky as a backup? The guy has a decent record as a starter and did not have nearly the offensive weapons he would have in Buffalo if, god forbid, he was forced to play in a meaningful game. I feel way better with him as the backup than I did last year. I also don't think you will get a clear answer to the question if Mitch is playing a quarter or two with backups in a preseason game.
  18. Might be cheaper to just bring in the rabbits foot for a look.
  19. Alphadawg, I have a great idea! You said she gave you "tickets" (plural)...How about I drive over from the 'Cuse and meet up with you and the future fiance to show you all around and I can take photos of the proposal and all before you take me to the opening game. Sound like a plan?
  20. Another overlooked issue is how well wide receivers run block downfield. I recently re-watched last season's game vs. LA Rams and it struck me how well LAR's wide receivers are designed to and actually block downfield on run plays. Robert Woods especially is a good downfield run blocker who stays with his blocks. I noticed how our WR's do not stay with blocks and DB's are immediately able to provide run support. That must have an effect on yards after initial contact if a DB can just fly up and make a hit because they have not been engaged at all. By the way, Bills had 101 rushing yards in that game and LAR had 167.
  21. Pretty sure you could have put four wheels on the cooler and driven it more dependably than the Yugo.
  22. Baker Mayfield lives in his stadium, I used to wonder why Josh doesn't do the same. Now I know why...Buffalo716 has squatter rights.
  23. I hope you're right and I hope I'm wrong as we may have to face the Colts in the playoffs again.
