  1. Does anyone know whether, statistically speaking, the 10 day rest following Thursday night play makes a difference?
  2. But the best part is that 100% of net profits go to Children's Hospital!
  3. Lesser standard of proof. Doesn't count. Besides, your facts and logic are getting in the way of my argument that OJ didn't do it.
  4. Which apparently proves the point that the OP is really trying to make...that OJ never had a "killer instinct" either. I rest my case Your Honor.
  5. That policy at the Carrier Dome (for the game against Rutgers) was coupled with a mask mandate, but it was obvious from the telecast that no one at the game was wearing a mask. Now the SU administration is under pressure to change the policy. Wouldn't surprise me if they change the policy to proof of vaccine only to gain admission.
  6. Richard Sherman will probably sign with S.F., which just lost their top CB for the season.
  7. I would also like OJ back, but I don't think he's a process guy anymore.
  8. for those of you who remember the 1970's Coke commercial..."I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony...."
  9. I was really kidding, but thanks for a few minutes on Dr. Badolbilz's therapy couch! I really do have a fun and healthy perspective on being a Bills fan, which I have been for over 50 years. I haven't jumped off any bridges yet, but getting on this thread with Giuseppe's post may just put me there!
  10. I'm glad you can have a laugh at your own expense Giuseppe. That's an important quality if you're going to start these kinds of threads.
  11. I'm starting to think you are uncommonly annoying. This is really one of the dumbest polls/threads anyone has ever started. I'm going to start my own poll/thread..."would you be okay with Kay Adams from GMFB saying she wanted to sleep with you but only on the condition that she will never marry you?"
  12. At one point during the second half of the game the CBS camera focused on a close up of Epenesa down in his stance and I thought to myself "I haven't heard his name mentioned all game" nor do I recall seeing him involved in any play. I thought he was pretty absent the whole game. On the whole, I thought the D line was okay and not a liability in the game. Ben gets the ball out pretty quickly and doesn't get sacked much by any team. Oliver did have some nice plays and Rousseau acquitted himself nicely for his first NFL game.
  13. I think Ford, Feliciano and Boettger are stronger in the run game than they are in pass pro. That being said, if you almost never run the ball, never pass out of 11 personnel sets, never run play action and never throw screen passes, you are just exposing their vulnerabilities and not playing at all to their strengths. That's on Daboll.
  14. I would say it would be an overreaction to do something as drastic as moving Williams to guard and replacing him with a rookie at right tackle. First of all, the Steelers' front four is one of the best we will face all season. There should have been in-game adjustments by the OC, which did not occur. Did we attempt a single screen? Did we try to run the ball on first or second down earlier in the game? Why did we not go no huddle and run a QB sneak on 4th and 1? How many empty sets did we throw from? Those are the questions which the coaching staff should be looking at. Of course our O line had some bad plays and bad penalties. Those are going to happen from time to time. But there is no excuse to not making adjustments in the play calling as the game developed.
  15. Tommy? Have you been listening to Charlie Weis on NFL Radio too much? I had to go into rehab because I played a drinking game where you had to take a drink every time Charlie referred to "Tommy" during one of his blowhard spiels.
  16. Like most on here I equally hate the Cowgirls and the Girlie Man (that high pitched shrill "Let's Goooooo" resonates in my ears as I write this). But my feeling after watching Hard Knocks is that Dallas is a pathetic, washed up franchise (much like their owner), so they get the slight nod here. Micah Parsons knocks Marsha out of the game and the Girls go on to win it, and then lose the next 16 straight games. So if there is a third poll choice, that's it for me.
  17. It's probably easier to write about a team in disarray and struggling as opposed to a team that is well organized and firing on all cylinders. Controversy and drama are the lifeblood of "journalists". Fairburn probably realized that the Bills are going to be boringly good and consistent for the next several years and he realized that it was going to be boring writing article after article about how perfect a team they are.
  18. How can you not love this guy? When the worst criticism anyone can come up with is that he claps too much, you know we have someone special.
  19. As the Kubiak article points out, 3 of the 10 last SB winners had a point differential of less than 100 and only one, the Giants, had a negative point differential. So while it is a somewhat interesting stat, it can obviously be overcome under the right circumstances.
  20. Does anyone on this Board care who goes out for the coin toss? Remember the bizarre selections of game captains under the Rex Ryan regime? Every guy on this roster needs to exemplify being a leader if we're to make it to the Super Bowl and, more importantly, win it! Mrs. Hughes, we as fans could care less whether Jerry has a "C" on his jersey so long as he continues to be the great player and team leader he is. And you should not care so long as he is coming home healthy and collecting huge paychecks.
