  1. But as we’ve seen for years and years, someone has to show Lawrence how it’s done, and more importantly, how it’s NOT done. If he is as good as as everyone says, then he should be ready to play an NFL game sooner than later. Throwing him to the wolves is a terrible idea for a kid who has no idea what an NFL pass rush looks like. Let’s not forget that Meyer hasn’t coached an NFL game either. If he really is the guy, then the 4 games he’s going to spend on the bench will be the best learning experience of his career.
  2. I loved Chan Gailey, and his offense; and the Goon Squad led by Stevie Johnson. I really thought they were going to put it all together. Then Donald Jones got flattened by Vince Wilfork, Stevie didn’t train in the off-season, and Fitz was, well, Fitz. I stand by my hatred of George Edwards, and his “hybrid thang” defense.
  3. Fred Jackson deserves it because he was the best player on terrible teams; who’s previous best player was the punter. He held the team together for a long time. Same with Kyle Williams. Hughes is a good player, who got a nice second chance with the Bills, but he’s never been a real consistent game changer. Fan favorite for sure, but he’s never been the best player on this team, let alone the defensive unit.
  4. Not before Fred or Kyle... probably not after then either.
  5. I think if the modern day version of either of those ALL TIME GREATS were available to the Bills, I’m pretty sure McBeane would do everything in their power to sign them.... including having Edmunds pick them up at the airport. On the off chance that neither of them are available, then yes, Edmunds will do. Both he and the defense played better once his shoulder was healed. It’s hard to play full speed downhill and thump people, when your shoulder is busted up.
  6. You can watch ANY highlight clip, and see that Rousseau is an actual football player. Maybin was a clown, dressed as a football player.
  7. Oh cool, Another useful “metric” to bicker about!
  8. Where’s the Jim Ross “baw gawd he’s killed him!”
  9. Oh boy. He’s not going to last in the NFL. Physical skill gets you in the door, but you’ve got to have a mental attitude that is superior to that physical talent, to succeed over the length of a career. His mind is clearly elsewhere, and if he’s been like this since High School, highly unlikely that Urban “earn your water” Meyer, is going to change that. Best QB prospect in a decade? Not sure about that anymore after this article.
  10. Donte Whitner Aaron Maybin Whitner was a disgrace to the team, when the team was disgraceful.
  11. Ok. I still think that it’s dangerous to assume that someone who you do not know personally, is having a mental episode. You are right that he should have to wear a mask, especially when it’s given to you in notice and signage. But being frustrated with a dozen people yelling at you, does not constitute a mental episode. Considering the countless videos we have seen over the past year of people actually having episodes, this does not fit the same mold. Im not doubting that he has suffered brain trauma. I’m not doubting his words, or his wife’s words. What I am doubting, is the assertion by a poster on this message board, that Darryl Talley is having a mental episode, because he doesn’t want to wear a mask. At this point, I’m sorry i even responded.
  12. Wait. So he doesn’t want to wear a mask on plane, and this is because of his mental health issues? Are you inferring that this incident is a result of mental illness? Because there are literally millions of people that don’t want to wear masks, and it has nothing to do with mental illness. It should also be noted that, Talley does not appear to be having a mental episode. In fact, he seems quite lucid. Is he frustrated and angry, yes, but the expression of frustration with clear terms, does not imply a state of mental crisis. Please try and refrain from unhelpful and narrative driving assumptions about another human beings mental state. It doesn’t help anyone.
  13. Ha! The second coming of Eric Moulds!! Get it done, OBD!
  14. He made millions in the NFL, good for him. My son just started playing this year, and it’s an awesome sport I had zero interest in besides those Bandits games from the 90’s with the Gait(sp?) Brothers.
  15. Where do I sign the petition!!
  16. This is a great point. This is also one of those lessons that can only be learned on the field. And you either adjust to it, or you don’t. There isn’t enough veteran depth with playoff experience to share and let the guys know what to expect. Seeing Diggs on the field after the game, shows he gets it.
  17. This is so good. I love that there’s a National Voice for this team, that has the same passion for them as the rest of us.
  18. The shot would make it feel like his toe was numb. I would imagine that he won’t notice it one bit, considering the weather and the stakes of the game. Turf toe is painful. It sounds wimpy, but it’s a bad one.
  19. Wont they just start a total rebuild? Eat all the dead cap space they can, surround Winston with garbage, and tank next season? That’s the new model for successful teams.
