This is an excellent observation. And it’s not because of scheme, or at least that’s what I’m telling myself. Because no serious Coach would teach such grotesque over pursuit, and urine poor disguise technique. Milano and Bernard have been figured out, and they’re not physically powerful enough to overcome it.

I’m curious what pace this defense is on to rank as the all time worst run defense in league history. It’s awful. They should all be ashamed of themselves for that drive.

I’m in a hotel in Newburgh NY, watching the game on the hotel WiFi. Wouldn’t you know, the signal during the broadcast is spotty and in and out. The commercials? Crisp and sharp. Weird. Go Bills!!

Im going to Adventureland with my family. I’ve never been more disinterested in a game in my life. There’s no up or down feeling. I’m expecting them to lose, only because they’ve done nothing this season to inspire belief that in a big game that means something, they will show up all game. I’ll watch the replay when I get back, and be thrilled to be wrong. But I’m sure I won’t be.

Completely disagree about the secondary. The entire unit is the reason this defense is strand costing the Bills the past 2 games. White is washed. Benford looks lost, and Johnson is a shell of who he was even last year. The safeties are terrible. Atrocious is probably a better word honestly. It’s going to take more than a Rashul Douglas type trade to save this defense this season.

Sadly, I think it’s less about getting New England back on top, and more about the needs of the gamblers. The refs kept that game close, and it was blatantly obvious. Obviously, you have to overcome all obstacles, and the refs don’t excuse the lack of execution in the secondary. But momentum killing penalties play a huge part in keeping a score close for covering a spread or a betting line.

Honestly, that’s a great play design by Babich. Maye didn’t see the spy, the line forced him to the right, and the trap was sprung. Glad to see that it can be done, just still not sure why it takes so long.

He’s really bad. You can’t tell me he’s better than Ingram or even my Nana at this point. She would at least be able to run with the Pats.

Shaq Thompson brings a different mentality to the field, and it shows when he’s out there. I’m sure there is a logical reason that he’s not out there, but the run defense looked tougher with him on the field.

Sorry if this has been covered, but is anyone else getting the worst broadcast for this game on Paramount+?

I’m very excited.

Watching this NFC game, I feel like the best team is wearing white and playing at 6.30. I’ve never felt that way before, and I’ve been a fan for over 40 years. There’s something about Allen and the rest of this team that LOOKS different. It’s not the same old Bills. It’s not the Bickering Bills. It’s finally different. Finally. And I’m ready for whatever happens after kickoff.

That’s great! I always loved his attitude and passion. A little undersized for the NFL, but he played tough.
