  1. Oh boy. Mark “Dr Hot Dog” Sanchez is a poor man’s Tony Romo. You would think that the Network run by the NFL would have done a better job of securing better names for their premiere games.
  2. Who do you put on the field then? Best 11 has always been the philosophy. You take Taron Johnson out and go with AJ Klein, and watch him get devoured by slot receivers and tight ends. Tyrell Dodson? Please. Whoever the scrub they drafted this year who should be cut? No thank you. I’ve voiced my issues with Taron Johnson before, but he is FAR AND AWAY a better defender that AJ Klein, and is a perfect fit for this scheme.
  3. The problem continues to be that MacKenzie is unreliable, and is a liability on the field. Slow motion replays only highlight his deficiencies at making pressure plays.
  4. Sometimes this place is hilarious. When they screw up clock management and Time Outs, this place gets the pitch forks and torches. When they do it right, it’s tar and feathers. Singletary did the right thing. Maybe not for the dead beat gamblers, or the armchair Head Coaching staff, but it’s the smart play to win the game.
  5. They’re PROFESSIONALS. Money is on the line everyday for them. Pride comes second. He’s got more than enough money, but when you take what he has done with this garbage team and tell him you’re going with the rookie, you can’t expect him to take that on the chin and pickup the clipboard. Steve Wilks has it right when he criticized the Ownership of the Panthers. And someone should criticize Arthur Blank. The fact that they are in any position at all to challenge for that dumpster fire of a division, is a Miracle on Ice. I don’t approve of the walking out without notice, but, as a human I can’t blame Marriotta.
  6. For those interested, the book “The Perfect Pass” by S.C. Gwynne is an amazing look at The Air Raid Offense. There is some talk about the coaching tree that Mike Leach comes from, and what an innovative mind he had, not only for football, but for life. The football world has lost an innovator and a great mind. REST IN PASSING, Coach Leach!
  7. We lit the Josh Allen prayer candle BEFORE the game started. And I wore my dark grey sweatpants. You’re welcome.
  8. This. They’re PROFESSIONALS. Money is on the line, feelings and niceties go out the door.
  9. I saw that too. Then on the QB Power Sweep, he gave no effort. Then he was out two plays later I think. Very strange. It would make sense if he wasn’t healthy.
  10. Did I miss in the pregame or Twitter about Diggs? Does he have the flu? There was ZERO energy out of him this game.
  11. First year at ECC North. Wild times…
  12. I thought last year the word was that he wasn’t interested in being a Head Coach, again? Maybe Im making that up.
  13. At some point, injuries are no longer an excuse. The defense is playing outstanding tonight. Tre White, Poyer, Edmunds are all making big plays. Guys are starters for a reason… O line depth is going to be a rough obstacle to overcome this late in the season.
  14. Gabe Davis again! What a regression this year. It’s crazy, he had so much potential, and he just can’t seem to get it all together.
  15. I’m really interested to see what a CB duo of White and Elam looks like. What a difference Tre White makes. He’s a special player.
  16. Spot on. I think you’re right about Favre. A lot of guys have tried those throws, and they get picked, but Favre and Allen are cut from the same cloth. They’ll bet on themselves every time. Hearing Romo gush over Josh like that was sweet. As a “locker room guy”, you know he’s feeling a twinge of his QB pride knowing he could never have made that throw.
  17. I’ll say it. That’s a stupid rule. A guy barely touches him, and he’s down by contact 3 yards downfield. Dumb.
  18. This. Every throw is off, except for when he gives it his all, and then it’s magic again. One thing Romo DID do well today, was explain that and what it feels like for Josh. Yes, I’m on a first name basis with Josh. I love him. That being said, the offensive line is HORRIBLE. Quessenberry got abused today. It was hard to watch. And Van Roten as well. Those two need to do all the dishes at home tonight. Dorsey isn’t letting anyone get in a rhythm with the play design. I feel like that’s McD forcing his hand in the run game, and it’s not working. And here we are back to Josh’s elbow.
  19. I’ll be honest, this is getting harder and harder to watch every week.
  20. I’ve been where you’re at. I was a spectacle myself. Still am. However, it’s worth it all. I remember painting my sons nursery room the day they hired St Doug. I remember thinking that it felt different. Like something was going to come of it. And it did. Through it all though, watching my son live through the glory years of Josh Allen, is so rewarding. Todays loss is baffling, and it should make very fan angry. But don’t quit. Regardless of what these butt heads in this thread say, we need you. We need your family. We need the passion and the pain. Otherwise, it’s just us out here alone. And that’s like being a Texans fan. Yuck.
  21. You might be. My English Grandma who only ever had Troyer Farms pretzels and squirt to eat loved Might Taco… It offers life to even the most bland of pallets.
  22. Boooooooooooo How dare you! Booooooooo Salsaritas? What the hell even is that? Mighty Taco is a blessing on this Earth sent from the Lord above!
  23. I don’t know, Elam has been a very pleasant surprise.
