  1. That was harsh. But very accurate. There’s no question that there needs to be some “sizzle” added to this entree. But, where’s the cap space for that? The Von Miller signing really looks bad to me today. It’s one of those deals that’s not going to have the same value next year, as it did this year. And it’s a lot of money. If another DC is brought in, does Miller fit the same way? Hindsight is 20/20, if’s and but’s and all the nuts, I’m just saying that there’s not a lot of money in the cupboard for sizzle, let alone Super Bowl caliber sizzle.
  2. I think the point they were making was that it isn’t complex. No scheme, just a route and get open. So, a guy like Shakir who is a mechanical route runner, and needs to be coached, gets Cole Beasley brought in so that he can learn creativity. It’s bizarre, and I think Dorsey is going to be the fall guy on this one.
  3. They’re hammering the offensive play calling and lack of identity. A caller just brought up the lack of creativity in route running. They’re transitioning over to the defense now. I was hoping that the thread would materialize into a conversation for those listening. I have to start work soon, so updates will have to happen organically.
  4. They’re going to get to the defense. Right now, they’re on the offense. Dorsey is getting it for lack of an identity. Rightfully so. On to calls now. God speed out there today! I’m wearing my post game sweatshirt today. I’m going to take a bunch of ***** this AM from the Jet/Giant fan Teamsters, but whatever. I know that this team will be back. Go Bills! Audacy is AWFUL. The most unstable platform, and a very ugly and clunky app. You’d hope such a big company would have paid a little bit more on the infrastructure for their business.
  5. Howard is HOT this morning. I can’t blame him. Hammering the offense, more than the defense. It sounds like they’re about to hammer Dorsey now. Sheesh
  6. See, this is the thing. I don’t think you can make him more perfect. This is who he is. Asking him not to use the Canon that God gave him, is going to prevent A LOT of the magic that everyone loves. He’s not Mahomes. He has that mind control over the ball. Allen has that farm strength. Two different and incredibly enviable traits for two entirely different guys. No one would dream of asking Mahomes to stop softball tossing TD’s inside the 3. Like I said, ride or die.
  7. Good article. The heat maps are awesome. But, it doesn’t take fancy graphics to know that Sugar High Josh is less than the ideal Josh. I love his killer instinct, and his desire to force the ball to his guys to make plays. I don’t want that to change. I’ll ride or die with 17 until the end.
  8. Yes. A A Ron won me a Fantasy Championship, and took me too two more Super Bowls, and he is a shell of that guy. Please, oh please, hire Hackett, and watch that team disintegrate.
  9. PLEEEEEEAAAAASSEEEEE!!!!!! Oh god, it would be like Christmas all over again!
  10. I hate Joe Buck. This whole Monday Night thing is just so gross. I don’t know if it’s true, but in my world Joe Buck whined and complained when he realized he wouldn’t be able to ruin the playoffs anymore, and got this trash.
  11. Before today, I’m not sure how many times I’ve heard the term “Arm Arrogance”. I’m confused by how quickly it’s spread, and why we (as fans of the most arrogantly armed QB in the NFL), see this as a bad thing. Chiefs fans don’t see it that way with Mahomes. They love it, and so should we. And Mahomes makes a lot of mistakes with the ball. Let’s not kid ourselves into thinking we have a “bad QB”. Josh Allen is the best QB that any of us have ever watched play for our team. I’ve been telling my son (9) how lucky he is to be a fan of the Bills right now. And it’s because of Josh Allen. When these “bad traits” lose a playoff or Super Bowl, maybe we have a different conversation. Until then, I’m not entertaining it at all. This Defense is awesome. The score is not at all a reflection of how the defense played. Quite the opposite in fact. They silenced that offense. And after watching last night, I think they do the same thing to the Bengals. After listening to Coach McDermott’s post game, his answer on Elam got me thinking. I’ve been screaming for Elam. Dane Jackson has done an admirable job, but Elam is athletically superior. He was all over Hill yesterday, not bad for a rookie. I get the impression that Coach uses the rookie phase in process as a way testing them. It sounds like Elam has answered the challenge the right way, and I hope that it results in a start for him against the Bengals. Stefon Diggs is a delight. I love his energy. I know the between the elbow injury to Allen, the need to commit to the run game, and the lack of production from anyone else, he seems to have disappeared the second half of the season. But the past two games he has been on fire. I’m hoping this week, we see what a full game of production gets him. I love this team. I’m a total homer. I’ll defend this current iteration until they kill me. Im not a fan of a Monday Night Playoff game. Sort of feels like screaming “*****” at 4am.
  12. I can’t believe that there’s even a discussion about who’s better Burrow or Allen. It’s clearly Allen. Clearly. He’s a better player. Burrow is surgical, no question. But Allen has ice in his veins. And a magical arm. He’s a threat to run the ball, in the same way that Vick and Kaepernick were. You have to devote a spy on him, or else he will murder you in the seams of the zone. Burrow doesn’t have that in his game. When the game is on the line, Allen has proven time and again, that he’s The Man, when the game is on the line. All that being said, I still think Mahomes is the best of the bunch. He’s a wizard. The ball goes where he wants it too almost all the time. Allen clearly doesn’t have that skill mastered yet. But he’s gotten better every year. Sorry for the rant. It’s just hard to see so many people down on Allen. It’s crazy to me.
  13. This is my point. There’s no way this can happen. Especially in the Conference! Like all of these guys that think about the NFL “as a business”, he will end up playing for Houston because they’re the only team with picks and cap space. And then he will whither into obscurity. Thanks for playing Lamar, you went as far as those skinny legs would take you on a rookie deal.
  14. Wouldn’t that require draft picks? I can’t imagine that the Ravens let him go without at least tagging him and getting 2 1sts. And then the Dolphins have to pay him. I just don’t see it.
  15. I’m curious if Carr’s lack of shine in this offense is because of the route development. Not many big names were developed or had success in New England. Edelman and Gronk carried that offense for years. Doing simple reads to get open, while other guys with skill, had limited to no success. Maybe I’m reaching, but Carr has always been on the edge of being in the top tier of QB’s, and this new offense (with an Elite WR) has died on the vine. To me, that’s on the guy with the headset.
  16. Watched the game on replay. Finally got the kids into bed with sugar plums in their heads; and I start scrolling through this thread. What I love about this place is how when OUR GUY has a bad game, people on here go for the throat. Other fan bases, make excuses, and will go down swinging with THE WORST TAKES EVER, defending THEIR GUY. Not here. Merry Christmas you wonderful old building loan!!!
  17. I remember when the Bills quit at Halftime. When every single one of us felt the way those godless heathens in New Jersey feel right now. I remember when some of these knuckle draggers told me, in ALL SERIOUSNESS, that Zach Wilson was just as good “if not better” than Josh Allen. These mouth breathing turd hounds, deserve every second of Herbie and Michaels not giving a damn about their team. I love this so much.
  18. This is so great. What a bunch of ball breakers these guys are.
  19. This is wonderful. I love that a few weeks ago this garbage team was being talked about as contenders. And in typical Jets fashion, they suck. I love it. LOVE. IT.
  20. I know, it’s crazy to think that HOF players would stay committed to the city and organization that stood by them and made them legends and millionaires. How dare I think such a thing is even possible, let alone expect it!
  21. Elam needs to play more. I understand McD’s stance on working into the role, and giving the vet as many chances as he can. However, Elam is an outstanding athlete. I was shocked to see him running with Hill. He was on him all game, and was a huge part of his limited production. He didn’t take over the game, he wasn’t running wild. He made plays because he’s an outstanding player. But Elam held his own and then some. Sorry Dane Jackson, but Elam’s for reeeeaaalllll
  22. I’m so confused what has happened to these two teams. The League MVP, against the Defending Champs! If I’m a producer for ESPN, I’ve got Goodell on speed dial with these Primetime games. I’ll give you Stafford being out. But that defense?! And where’s the innovative offense from McVay? Where’s the commitment to play action and chipping away to open up the middle of the field? Where’s the dedication to pace! Is it losing Adam’s; or the way they lost him? And the Green Bay defense? Again… what’s happening? Where’s the heart of this team? Who’s the step up and make something happen guy? It just seems like there’s an real problem with Rodgers and the team that no one has stepped up yet. Someone said Donald may retire. I know a lot of people; pundits and fans alike, who will applaud him for going out on top. But to me, that’s the “star player” not the ideal FRANCHISE player. As a fan of the sport and the legends that I have been lucky to watch, I want a lifetime commitment to the team and the sport. Maybe I’m spoiled because all my favorite players live and die in my hometown. But guys like Donald, who are too big to go through a rebuild, their legacy gets tarnished in my book.
