  1. I like watching the Rams. I like their uniforms, i like their defense. I like Aaron Donald. They win, and they often play late games that i can watch after the wife and kids go to bed. Its easy to cheer for good teams. But if they were to play the Bills, it’s a no brainer.
  2. Personally, I’d like to see him develop the check down game more and extend drives that way. All he needs to do is rewatch this years Super Bowl to see the value in taking what the defense gives you.
  3. Precisely the reason you run the ball in the red zone and play the clock. That non-call was egregious, but that’s not why they lost the game. There was zero reason to pass the ball even one time, let alone three.
  4. How many times has everyone said it; to beat the Patriots you have to play perfect football. They dont make mistakes, and when they do, they overcome them.
  5. Oh boy. I wont disagree that he should’ve had more of role in preparing the defense, and that’s probably what led to his termination. But George Edwards and Dave Wanstedt were hires from outside of his comfort zone. The “hybrid thang” was the most embarrassing defense i have ever seen from the Bills. Regardless of his responsibilities as a HC, the coordinator bares more of a responsibility when it comes to game planning, preparation, in game adjustments, and scheme. If Gailey had any kind of defense, he would have been more successful here. If he had better players on either side of the ball, he would have been significantly more successful.
  6. He never had a defense. He had a GM and FO that was atrocious at evaluating talent. He was ahead of his time in terms of scheme and vision for the game. He had ZERO talent on his roster. I loved Gailey. His “you dog one of us, you dog us all” comment was on point. I would have loved to see what he could have done with Manuel. If only they would have given him a chance.
  7. I’m dying to know what made the click go off in his head. It’s hard to believe that Derek Anderson and Matt Barkley had THAT much influence over him, but it’s obviouksy a big part of the equation. This is the most excited ive been as a fan about the long term success of the team in what seems like my lifetime.
  8. Spot on take. Don’t admit that to the media. Take it up with your teammates or coaches, or family and friends. But the Buffalo News?? Bad look for Dawkins.
  9. Its hard to believe Harry will go in the second. That would be simply incredible, and i would fully support this draft Four year starters in the SEC come with a lot of wear and tear. I’m not opposed to it, i just wouldn’t want to take him at 9.
  10. The Giants are in love with Manning. If I was a Cardinals fan, I would be terrified if that FO had 2 top 10 picks in the draft.
  11. Wow. Hands down my favorite player of this generation, maybe all time. When you talk about role models, and leadership, Kyle Williams is an example for the best you can be. I told my son, who is 5, that Kyle Williams was my hero. My wife was surprised and asked why. I told her the three helmets comment, and she was blown away. Loyalty is important to me, and though he may have been loyal to a fault, it paid off dividends for him in life, even if his bank account may have suffered. Im sad to see him go. The Bills won’t be the same for awhile, and maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe his spirit and his legacy will transcend, and the process will really start to yield results.
  12. The interesting thing here is that in this particular case, the DA didn’t believe the charges were worth pursuing. Added to that her previous retractions, and you have a clear reason for dismissal. So many people are far to quick assume guilt and innocence. Both of the people need to learn the value of a healthy relationship. Maybe that’s the cycle that needs to be broken? I’m going to sound like a broken record, but this is where a young man needs a mentor. Whether it’s a father, or an uncle, or a coach or a teammate; this young man needs to be shown a better way. That THIS is not what good relationships look like.
  13. Thank you for the dissertation on relationships. I think you didn’t exactly get the point of what i was saying. When you are a young man with an ego and money and don’t have the right people in the locker room or the professional environment, you can often go the wrong way. You can call it naivety, but as an adult, I’ve found that mentorship and leadership are two of the most important qualities to have in life, especially in the professional world. There are fewer incidents of Personal Conduct Policy Violations on teams with strong leadership from top to bottom. That means Front Office, Coaching staff, and teammates.
  14. I think it’s safe to assume they both need to stay away from each other. At some point SOMEONE in his life needs to say “my friend, you two are going to bring each other down. Stay away from her.” something to be said for the process in all this. There aren’t issues like this on your team when you have good moral leadership from top down.
  15. I like the rushing TD’s. I’d like to see more passing ones as well, but anytime he can run 30 yards and score, I’ll take it.
  16. Always looking downfield is going to payoff in the end. He’s got fire and a passion for the game and for winning. The numbers aren’t important at this point. How he plays is the differenc between him and ANY QB we’ve seen since Kelly.
