  1. I can’t believe that there’s even a discussion about who’s better Burrow or Allen. It’s clearly Allen. Clearly. He’s a better player. Burrow is surgical, no question. But Allen has ice in his veins. And a magical arm. He’s a threat to run the ball, in the same way that Vick and Kaepernick were. You have to devote a spy on him, or else he will murder you in the seams of the zone. Burrow doesn’t have that in his game. When the game is on the line, Allen has proven time and again, that he’s The Man, when the game is on the line. All that being said, I still think Mahomes is the best of the bunch. He’s a wizard. The ball goes where he wants it too almost all the time. Allen clearly doesn’t have that skill mastered yet. But he’s gotten better every year. Sorry for the rant. It’s just hard to see so many people down on Allen. It’s crazy to me.
  2. This is my point. There’s no way this can happen. Especially in the Conference! Like all of these guys that think about the NFL “as a business”, he will end up playing for Houston because they’re the only team with picks and cap space. And then he will whither into obscurity. Thanks for playing Lamar, you went as far as those skinny legs would take you on a rookie deal.
  3. Wouldn’t that require draft picks? I can’t imagine that the Ravens let him go without at least tagging him and getting 2 1sts. And then the Dolphins have to pay him. I just don’t see it.
  4. I’m curious if Carr’s lack of shine in this offense is because of the route development. Not many big names were developed or had success in New England. Edelman and Gronk carried that offense for years. Doing simple reads to get open, while other guys with skill, had limited to no success. Maybe I’m reaching, but Carr has always been on the edge of being in the top tier of QB’s, and this new offense (with an Elite WR) has died on the vine. To me, that’s on the guy with the headset.
  5. Watched the game on replay. Finally got the kids into bed with sugar plums in their heads; and I start scrolling through this thread. What I love about this place is how when OUR GUY has a bad game, people on here go for the throat. Other fan bases, make excuses, and will go down swinging with THE WORST TAKES EVER, defending THEIR GUY. Not here. Merry Christmas you wonderful old building loan!!!
  6. I remember when the Bills quit at Halftime. When every single one of us felt the way those godless heathens in New Jersey feel right now. I remember when some of these knuckle draggers told me, in ALL SERIOUSNESS, that Zach Wilson was just as good “if not better” than Josh Allen. These mouth breathing turd hounds, deserve every second of Herbie and Michaels not giving a damn about their team. I love this so much.
  7. This is so great. What a bunch of ball breakers these guys are.
  8. This is wonderful. I love that a few weeks ago this garbage team was being talked about as contenders. And in typical Jets fashion, they suck. I love it. LOVE. IT.
  9. I know, it’s crazy to think that HOF players would stay committed to the city and organization that stood by them and made them legends and millionaires. How dare I think such a thing is even possible, let alone expect it!
  10. Elam needs to play more. I understand McD’s stance on working into the role, and giving the vet as many chances as he can. However, Elam is an outstanding athlete. I was shocked to see him running with Hill. He was on him all game, and was a huge part of his limited production. He didn’t take over the game, he wasn’t running wild. He made plays because he’s an outstanding player. But Elam held his own and then some. Sorry Dane Jackson, but Elam’s for reeeeaaalllll
  11. I’m so confused what has happened to these two teams. The League MVP, against the Defending Champs! If I’m a producer for ESPN, I’ve got Goodell on speed dial with these Primetime games. I’ll give you Stafford being out. But that defense?! And where’s the innovative offense from McVay? Where’s the commitment to play action and chipping away to open up the middle of the field? Where’s the dedication to pace! Is it losing Adam’s; or the way they lost him? And the Green Bay defense? Again… what’s happening? Where’s the heart of this team? Who’s the step up and make something happen guy? It just seems like there’s an real problem with Rodgers and the team that no one has stepped up yet. Someone said Donald may retire. I know a lot of people; pundits and fans alike, who will applaud him for going out on top. But to me, that’s the “star player” not the ideal FRANCHISE player. As a fan of the sport and the legends that I have been lucky to watch, I want a lifetime commitment to the team and the sport. Maybe I’m spoiled because all my favorite players live and die in my hometown. But guys like Donald, who are too big to go through a rebuild, their legacy gets tarnished in my book.
  12. Oh boy. Mark “Dr Hot Dog” Sanchez is a poor man’s Tony Romo. You would think that the Network run by the NFL would have done a better job of securing better names for their premiere games.
  13. Who do you put on the field then? Best 11 has always been the philosophy. You take Taron Johnson out and go with AJ Klein, and watch him get devoured by slot receivers and tight ends. Tyrell Dodson? Please. Whoever the scrub they drafted this year who should be cut? No thank you. I’ve voiced my issues with Taron Johnson before, but he is FAR AND AWAY a better defender that AJ Klein, and is a perfect fit for this scheme.
  14. The problem continues to be that MacKenzie is unreliable, and is a liability on the field. Slow motion replays only highlight his deficiencies at making pressure plays.
  15. Sometimes this place is hilarious. When they screw up clock management and Time Outs, this place gets the pitch forks and torches. When they do it right, it’s tar and feathers. Singletary did the right thing. Maybe not for the dead beat gamblers, or the armchair Head Coaching staff, but it’s the smart play to win the game.
  16. They’re PROFESSIONALS. Money is on the line everyday for them. Pride comes second. He’s got more than enough money, but when you take what he has done with this garbage team and tell him you’re going with the rookie, you can’t expect him to take that on the chin and pickup the clipboard. Steve Wilks has it right when he criticized the Ownership of the Panthers. And someone should criticize Arthur Blank. The fact that they are in any position at all to challenge for that dumpster fire of a division, is a Miracle on Ice. I don’t approve of the walking out without notice, but, as a human I can’t blame Marriotta.
  17. For those interested, the book “The Perfect Pass” by S.C. Gwynne is an amazing look at The Air Raid Offense. There is some talk about the coaching tree that Mike Leach comes from, and what an innovative mind he had, not only for football, but for life. The football world has lost an innovator and a great mind. REST IN PASSING, Coach Leach!
  18. Man, the Patriots are bad. Really bad.
  19. We lit the Josh Allen prayer candle BEFORE the game started. And I wore my dark grey sweatpants. You’re welcome.
  20. This. They’re PROFESSIONALS. Money is on the line, feelings and niceties go out the door.
  21. I saw that too. Then on the QB Power Sweep, he gave no effort. Then he was out two plays later I think. Very strange. It would make sense if he wasn’t healthy.
  22. Did I miss in the pregame or Twitter about Diggs? Does he have the flu? There was ZERO energy out of him this game.
  23. First year at ECC North. Wild times…
  24. I thought last year the word was that he wasn’t interested in being a Head Coach, again? Maybe Im making that up.
