Who has the bigger impact: McKenzie or Kumerow?

I'm thinking of Depeche Mode right now. Your own personal touchdown Jesus. -
GDT: Browns @ Packers, Christmas Day, 4:30 PM Eastern
Nextmanup replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow, the Browns got screwed on the DPI call that never came on the INT that finished the game. If that play had happened to the Bills in the same game, this place would be melting down right now. 🤭 -
I was just as much of a Bills fan back in the SB era...I was never a huge fan of Marv Levy, but was a big fan of Bill Polian, and guys like John Butler. The team builders. Levy was never a top-tier coach and we have zero SB victories which support that assertion. McDermott is similar, though not as good as Marv. Tomorrow's game will be a huge chapter in his Bills story. I can't wait to see how it plays out.

The WWI truce mentioned above is pretty well documented. There were similar stories that arose out of what Americans call "The Battle of the Bulge" or what the Germans (who started it) call "Operation Wacht am Rhein," or the Ardennes counter-offensive of December 1944. It's interesting to note that militaries all around the world don't like their men talking with the enemy, as the next thing you know, they'll all be getting along and not seeing any point--whatsoever--to the war they're fighting. It's sad.

May I ask what the show was? Who was the performer?

Who remembers this commercial? If you do, and can recite at least one line from it, you're OK in my book!

Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score
Nextmanup replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lots of people (most?) here do not operate as you do. They are here to function as a cheerleader for the Bills, and offer thoughtless enthusiasm. If someone wants to do that sort of thing, that's cool, but take it to a Bills Booster Club site, if there is one, where everyone is there to do the same thing and everyone knows the game plan. I thought this forum was for discussing topics regarding the Bills, good, bad, or indifferent. -
Bills' Spencer Brown fined $5K for celebrating TD with fan's beer
Nextmanup replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a whole lot of money for a really, really bad beer. -
I guess great minds think alike. I already checked into him, but apparently he is COVID positive right now. But I did some research into Derek Hagan and Ruvell Martin--both of whom are AVAILABLE and COVID-FREE. What do you think!?

Great question. I would have thought Chandler#81 would have locked it on sight. -
This might be the most perfectly conceived and brilliantly composed single sentence I've ever seen at this board. Wow. Post of the Year candidate, for sure. Folks not familiar with Canada might not fully appreciate it, but for those of us who are and do...

Highmark Stadium Difference Between 100 and 300 Level Seats
Nextmanup replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it is fair for the Bills to ask fans to sit down. I get that it's a rowdy atmosphere and people are paying money to have fun, but there is nothing wrong with some basic rules to keep the experience on target. As a fan said up a few posts, its common at a ball game to require people to remain back in the tunnel before returning to their seat, if a batter is batting. I know that to be a fact in every MLB park I've been into. I do agree with some others that say its so far gone it may be hard to pull it back in now. I think it could be done, but it would be a challenge, and it wouldn't happen overnight. -

You mean the Scottish Hammer?

I like the cut of your jib. There are not a plot of posters here who think like you. McDermott's obsession with things that don't matter is hilarious--but also embarrassing. The funny thing is, he is allowed to get away with it. I made a joke a few years ago that he would take a defensive tackle with our first pick in the draft...and he actually did.

Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
Nextmanup replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Things have been so bad in Buffalo, for so long, most fans are still in their honeymoon phase with McDermott--basically willing to give him a pass in general. But at some point, unless we win a SB soon, there is going to be a collision of failures and expectations, and I think McDermott could truly be replaced with someone perceived to be better. McDermott has already played an important role in franchise history. He (and Beane) are the guys that turned 20 years of tire fire around and got things going in a positive direction again. Maybe that's the best he can do. I don't know. At some point, we are going to need a coach who can match up against the best coaches in the league, in the playoffs against good teams, and BEAT THEM. He did do that twice last year, then got outclassed in KC. BB just destroyed him in the Wind Game on MNF. Let's see what he does Sunday! -
Me too. "The Scottish Hammer." Invokes images of something like this: It's just COVID insurance; they might do this with a bunch more positions too. The league is going to be heavily rattled by COVID in the next several weeks.

Should we bring back John Brown for the Patriots game?
Nextmanup replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am pretty sure Stevie Johnson is available. -
We should start a scotch enthusiast thread here. I love The Balvenie double wood for a single malt at that price point. I like Speyside scotches in general. The Balvenie seems to be quite popular, generally speaking. I think my favorite "normally priced" scotch right now is Highland Park 12.

I spent about 3 seconds thinking about it and thought this user name makes as much sense as anything else.

Nextmanup replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
No we don't need John Brown FFS. We do need the O line to play their best game of the year (somehow) and the receivers (anyone catching the ball, not just WRs) to man up and play a really good game too. We have more than enough to get the job done, if Josh is able to find targets and throw them the ball.
