    It looked to me like he slowed up and then ran faster just prior to the catch. Like he could have gone faster the entire time and then the ball wouldn't have been overthrown.

    I'm Italian but could never get into Panettone. Italians don't really do "sweets" as a culture. At least not very well. When I think of "Italian dessert" I think of something like this:
