  1. I had it at 3. That includes the various jersey pulling incidents that I guess no one saw.
  2. I thought they'd move the game; makes sense. A game at 5pm on a Monday is kind of weird though!
  3. I think it's more a case of most fans hate him as a broadcaster to begin with, and then on top of it, he says what might be the dumbest comment in the history of broadcasting...so people are ready to jump on him. I just can't stand his style of announcing; I think he's terrible. And it's just as bad for baseball games.
  4. A Bills vs. Chiefs rematch could totally be in the cards! And it would be crazy to follow the ups and downs for both teams leading to that rematch, but sometimes that's how the NFL works out. It's a LONG season and there are usually a few plot lines going on for each team. IF (and it's a big "IF") the Bills have it in them to throw a switch and get back to last year's form, they can beat anyone in front of them starting this Sunday against Carolina. It felt like that switch was thrown in the 2nd half of the Tampa game... We'll find out!
  5. That is great news; I didn't think the story would end this positively or this abruptly. Hopefully he is OK going forward. Yeah that was at a completely different point in the telecast. Did you watch it? As it all happened live and they wheeled him off the field, no one say ANYTHING because it was as serious and scary looking as anything I've seen. A while later they went to a replay and that's when Buck offered his "words of wisdom." I'm pretty sure that was all on Joe Buck!
  6. I will be watching Indy vs. NE with as much interest as I can remember in a LONG TIME for a non-Bills game. I'm talking glued to my set and I wouldn't consider missing 5 minutes of the game for anything.
  7. Actually, that's not correct. We know right now that if we win these last 4 games, we have a 100% chance of making the playoffs. You'll have to take my word for it as you apparently aren't into mathematics. Hell, we have like a 87% of making the playoffs with the 3 easy team wins and a LOSS TO NEW ENGLAND.
  8. I heard Joe Buck's comments about how it was "cold by southern california standards" and COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING. I always highly disliked this guy's broadcasting style, but on top of, he's an idiot! It happened a while after the incident was over. They came back from a commercial break or something and decided to go back to the injury via instant replay, showing him being wheeled off the field with his hands shaking, while clearly still "knocked out" for lack of a better term... And that's when Buck rambled on about it being cold and what not. He's a complete moron. The entire time he was injured/being treated/being secured/being pushed off the field he did NOT regain consciousness. I have seen people take huge head shots like that and then hold their arms in funny, gravity defying positions. It's very counter-intuitive. As soon as I saw him holding his arms up after the hit, I knew he was out cold and this was a really serious injury. All from slamming the back of his head against that turf, even with the helmet on. Makes you wonder what the hell they are playing on. Concrete?
  9. This was one of the ugliest and scariest incidents I've ever seen in a game. Parham pretty obviously never regained consciousness, even as they were wheeling him off the field after a sustained delay...with his hands convulsing nervously. IMO, Buck and Aikman deliberately refrained from saying ANYTHING as the scene was already more than gruesome enough.
  10. Don't have that luxury. I hope the score gets out of hand and we can "rest" him that way, before he plays a full game. I'm thinking of the 35-0 Miami game or something like that.
  11. 15 of those years were carrying the rock in the NFL. He's not quite 76, but he's not 36 either. Probably more like 56 I would suggest.
  12. You sound like a guy who's been rejected by bimbos at bars a time or two. LOL! 😜
  13. If players' health was the first priority, it would absolutely be shut down for a week (or more, within reason). Of course, it's not, so I don't expect a shutdown unless it's absolutely necessary. I think things would have to get substantially worse first, though.
  14. These guys will continue to kick Daboll's name around on these lists for a while to come, so they have something to write about. Doesn't mean he's actually considered a top contender by anyone, though. Or that he's not.
  15. The OP is simply saying he thinks Dorsey would make a good OC, should Daboll leave or be fired. I think. What's wrong with that? Of course it's "pure speculation". It's an opinion.
  16. I would hate for us to burn a 1st or 2nd round draft choice on a RB!
  17. Paul Hamilton was just on the air calling for the NFL and NHL to straight up shut down for a week. You would think the NFL (more than other leagues) would be able to re-schedule games at this time of year easily, as no one is really using football stadiums for other things. I guess there is not something like 20+ guys on the Cleveland COVID list for Saturday's game.
  18. You know, I think I agree with this! LOL
  19. https://factoryofsadness.co/2021/12/15/the-nfl-should-consider-postponing-the-browns-and-raiders-game/
  20. The builds of the two combatants are not very similar. Williams has a typical, slender, NBA sort of frame and is 6'3" and 200 lbs. Gore is 5'9" and like 215 lbs; built more like a gorilla. 15 pounds heavier on a 6" shorter frame tells you just how differently he is built. Williams should enjoy a huge reach advantage, but it won't matter! I'm going to say Frank Gore kills him.
  21. Here ya go.
  22. Wait a minute, what??? Meyer was lying on the ground trying to cry? When a person is this dysfunctional and goes around telling people he is a winner but they are losers and must defend their resume, you know something really strange is going on in his head. Maybe his father told him he'll never amount to anything every night before he went to bed growing up or something, and yes, I have no trouble picturing the guy crying and being fully convinced he himself is a loser behind closed doors.
  23. This is true. I've been saying we will win out as well, but now is the time to actually have to do it. We must perform, starting Sunday. And yes, these are literally "must win" games. Well, at least if we want to play playoff games this year. 3 easy wins and a tough one against a good team on the road to reset things and head into the playoffs on the right footing. We can do that! I'm with Italian Bills on this.
  24. The thread is about where the Super Bowl will be played in 2024. I didn't know prior to reading this thread. 🤷‍♂️
