  1. Nice throw; nice catch!
  2. Rue from "Euphoria" looked great in her ad.
  3. Defensive duel so far.
  4. 54 huh? Remember to do your annual colonoscopy exam this year!
  5. Or to put it another way, when was the last time anyone in this league turned a pick number into an elite superstar, especially if the pick is out of the top 5 in the draft? Teams don't know how to properly evaluate and rank talent, except for the really obvious stuff that is so easy you can't screw it up.
  6. It's just a football game! The moment the score gets lop-sided, if it does, I'll be doing other things. Hoping for a good, close game, but fear a Rams blowout.
  7. Who cares one way or the the other?
  8. It's worth noting that Whitney Houston lip synched her rendition of the national anthem in 1991. She did not sing live. If you do the research on this, you'll see that's correct.
  9. If someone *who* rarely posts Nominative case.
  10. Anyone who selects a DT with their first pick in the draft has no understanding of value, by which I mean how a player added to the team can make a difference between wins and losses.
  11. Why build one? So Pegula and the NFL can get a bit richer?
  12. That's extremely effective and I wish we did a lot more of it ourselves, if they aren't going to call it.
  13. He is a 1 in 100 or maybe 1,000 lucky hit... But other teams SHOULD continue to assume they can do the same thing. Teams should be developing multiple QBs all the time, taking chances, etc., until they find one IMO. It's the most poorly thought out aspect of the game IMO.
  14. Pick up someone on waivers for cheap if you want a new body. If/when our OL improves, I think you'll find that our current RBs improve as well.
  15. I don't think I've ever seen a show on cable TV as utterly highly sexually charged as "Euphoria". They show "things" I'm not sure I've ever seen in other American television. Aside from that, the show is super well done, well written, well acted, and it's put together on a very highly artistic level which I love.
  16. ...and yet he never bothers to actually articulate whatever point he is trying to make. Actually, "math" would suggest the universe is teeming with life. Now, as to the Fermi Paradox, "where is it, why haven't we seen it?" well that's a different issue entirely. There are plenty of interesting theories on why that should be, even if the universe is filled with life. My current line of thinking is that highly intelligent/advanced life may not be nearly as common throughout the universe as we might think. Like we might be the most advanced/only advanced civilization in our galaxy, perhaps. If that's true throughout the universe, it could help explain why we haven't been visited. The question is what is the broken link in the chain of the Drake Equation. No one really knows, but it gives rise to interesting discussion.
  17. Sabres blow 3rd period lead for NINTH TIME this year! Are you kidding me? The funny thing is they played pretty well in 2nd and 3rd periods after a mediocre first period.
  18. It's just BS....go about your day and feel free to ignore.
  19. The draft should ALWAYS be offense-oriented. No way should we take a RB in 3rd round though. Not sure I like Dotson enough to be our No. 1 pick.
  20. *staring*
  21. Exploring gray areas in the rules where there is no clearly defined right or wrong is not cheating. It's called "being smart to gain an advantage." All the teams in F1 motor racing are doing this sort of thing all the time! But they are run by really brilliant people with Ph.Ds in mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, and so on.
  22. You would think they would go after China! Can you fathom the money to be made over there if you convinced all 1.4 billion Chinamen to love American football? As Bud Fox asked Gordon Gecko in "Wall Street," "How many yachts can you waterski behind?" 🤔
  23. I'm not sure I'd call 4 fumble recoveries, 6.5 sacks, and 48 solo tackles "crap" numbers. Rousseau had 4 sacks and 42 solo tackles; no recoveries for comparison. What's concerning is John Fina's comments about Rousseau having no planned "first move" prior to the snap when he is going to pass rush, which is every OLman's dream come true.
  24. I think what trips a lot of fans up is that his play blossomed to a new level in the final 2 games of the season. So it can be argued that's not an actual step, that's just an anomaly taken from a very small data sample. It seemed real to me though, and he did it on the biggest of stages, 2 games in a row. I will never forget his intensity in the "Perfect Game" beat down of the Pats. He's always been a competitive guy for sure, but I don't think I had seen THAT Josh Allen before that game. And then he gave us another gem in KC. For now, we have to assume and hope he will build on that foundation, which is pretty damned solid!
