  1. I would go so far to say that other than ALLEN, Morse being out hurts the team more than any single player. I would MUCH rather have Morse than Von Miller, for example. Well, maybe DIGGS too....that would be bad. But we are going to have PROBLEMS ALL GAME LONG b/c of Morse's absence. Watch!
  2. The only way I can watch these games is through alternative online means, and they have been unreliable this year. So I have maybe seen half the TNF games. Had they all been on TV like in the past, I would have probably watched them all. But Herbstreit is terrible; I know him from college football. He's just boring and a conservative guy by nature; probably highly religious too. Al's talents are being wasted, but I don't think he cares. What is he making? $20 million a season? I really wish AL was still on TV and not this Amazon crap.
  3. And at 1pm on a Saturday! I am honestly thinking of recording this one and watching it in prime time. It just kills the day at 1pm and it feels "off." I ALWAYS watch Bills games live, no matter when that may be. This one I may not.
  4. Top priority should be a star No. 2 WR IMO, and then the BULK of assets should be sent toward the OL. We'll probably draft all defensive linemen.
  5. You sound like the type of fan who will get over a Bills loss in the playoffs in about 5 seconds. Big fan, huh?
  6. I've been saying this in AB threads here for 2 or 3 years now... This guy is going to turn up DEAD sooner than later.
  7. Wow, that's bad.
  8. The free options are far from without fault. I've had to use them I think for 3 games this year. I had trouble in all of them from time to time. In one of them, the entire 2nd half was messed up. If the cost is reasonable, I'd probably pay for Youtube to be free from that crap, and not have to watch in real time, too....thus avoiding commercials which revolutionizes how you watch football. I can no longer stomach 3rd party games live with commercials, except on rare, special occasions.
  9. Buffalo seems to be having "generational weather" about once a week so far... We are very much capable of being in a playoff race and maybe even making it to the playoffs. We have to improve our defensive game, stop giving away 4 or 5 odd-man rush/breakaways PER GAME...and SOMEHOW get solid goaltending on a consistent basis. We are an excellent goalie way from being a team capable of winning a playoff series or maybe more. We have a solid Hart Trophy candidate and a solid Norris candidate too on the same team in the same year. I hate to see us piss this away simply b/c the organization has deemed this "not the year" on the development timeline. If nothing else, at least this team is fun to watch, and a likable group of guys. That hasn't been the case in over a decade.
  10. A few months ago I was I was hurriedly pushing my cart past the milk/dairy refrigerator door section at the back of the store. I realized, somewhat late, that there was a tiny little old lady waving at me. She was probably 5'0" tall...early 80s at the youngest. She asked me if I could get her the half 'n half which was on the top shelf. So I opened the door and noticed a bunch of them were off to the side where it was harder for me to reach. I made an effort to get one of those anyway, and sure enough...it was a solid 7 days newer expiration date than the stuff more easily accessible. So I reached to grab one of those and handed it to the woman. I mentioned it was the best date up there. She crossed her arms over her chest like to gesture a hug or some such, and said "Oh thank you so much!" It made me feel good for a few days.
  11. EVERY time I go to the grocery store, I am STUNNED at the level of cluelessness and self-centeredness displayed by my fellow shoppers. Just look at how people position themselves and/or their carts so as to make perfect road blocks, or dawdle around then come to a dead stop in traffic areas...with absolutely no thought given to the idea that maybe there are other people in the store trying to shop and get around as well. It never ceases to amaze me! People lost in their own little world of idiocy.
  12. Typical Sal C. question to McDermott, post-game: "Coach with the re-scheduling of the game, lots of people out with injury, and Josh's elbow not being 100%, it must have been really rewarding to see the boys win this one...." 😂 But he was mad! That's just how he is. He's going to whine on the sideline in tight, close games where we have it tough and he isn't seeing the ball a lot. That's just how he is, and everyone knows this. But then it's all good in the end with him. That's why this is no big deal.
  13. This was me taking a sip of coffee as I scrolled to this response... 😀 And estimated to be earning a 4 x $4 million K ...real loser indeed.
  14. We are the 17th best 3rd down defense in the league! Never mind 3rd and long... 39.34% tied with Bengals for 17th. Very average. But it all seems to work out OK in the end.
  15. Nah, these guys are funny and on the mark with their comments. Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley are so biased they don't even call things remotely objectively anymore. He's clearly going for a certain style of announcing intended to be entertaining and beyond a straight up play by play guy. To be honest, I think these guys are great. No one is ever allowed to be funny when it comes to NFL broadcasting. It's all serious and everyone's wearing a suit. Why? How about being funny, fun, and entertaining?
  16. Of course he does! Football indoors under a roof sucks. Same for baseball or soccer.
  17. Wow, that's a pretty sharp stab from OJ.
  18. So much for Messi keeping that address a bit of a secret! That didn't work!
  19. I have a good friend who is now an ophthalmologist. During his medical schooling, he ended up doing some residency work in the ER at ECMC. He has tons of stories. One of my favorites: a man had an 8" chef's knife buried in his chest cavity. As my buddy went in to see what was going on (the knife was still sticking out of him, having smartly been left in place by the ambulance crew so the guy wouldn't bleed to death) he noticed a woman who appeared to be the guy's wife in the room. The guy (with the knife stuck in his chest) said to the woman: "Honey, you knows I loves ya, but ya gots to stop stabbing me." That is word for word what the guy said, according to my buddy...who proceeded to remove said chef's knife and sew the guy up after nosing around the wound a bit. It didn't hit anything important!
  20. This is interesting info. I always considered these types of stories involving hospital extractions to be urban legends and total fiction. Maybe not?! I'm really glad I don't have to go fishing for batteries up someone's backside.
  21. Nothing happens until @ the 4:00 mark. I love the clown shadow boxing around 5:05 calling the other guys on, while steadily running backward so as to avoid confrontation. LOL Overall, pretty solid scrap.
  22. Just what I always wanted, a custom Bills-themed scooter... 😳
  23. In honor of Italy and all things Italian, I post this lovely commercial--one of my all time favorites. Great car too! I also submit this! Listen to this once or twice and you will be humming the melody for the next month. One of the greatest Earworms you will ever hear! And a pure gift from Italia!
