And I remember talking/anticipating that game and thinking the weather would have a big impact. In fairness, it really didn't. We seemed to play really well despite the extreme cold. It's going to be a good bit worse today in Chicago though, but maybe it won't matter as much as I would guess.

And guys will be out there with bare arms! Ross Tucker mentioned a few days ago that after games like this, you can't just get into a warm shower...it stings and hurts. You have to acclimate your skin to cold water for a while, then gradually go up in temp. It's nuts. This game is approaching Stalingrad weather.

Regarding the play where NE gave the win to the Raiders with their desperation lateraling for no reason... How does anyone explain that? The only thing I can think of is that at least the first guy who started to lateral thought they were losing on the scoreboard. Other than that, there is no explanation for it.

Anyone noticing that Buffalo is getting a "once in a generation" type winter storm about once a week so far this winter? They already seem to have forgotten about the 5 feet in 48-72 hours....which is unheard of! IT's all global warming/climate change. As that situation gets worse, weather all over will continue to be crazy and the "big" storms of all types and seasons will get bigger.
