What are you doing to get out of this funk?
ProcessTruster replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
exactly, leave this board for awhile. Playing golf on Wednesday. that will help. opening day! flamethrowing on this board will go on for awhile. I've said my calm, calculated positive piece, no effect, so.. Onward. -
Brandon Beane is on the clock….
ProcessTruster replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
slot guy... already got one of those -
Pretty sure Beane will be active in FA this year. His hands were tied last off season due to Diggs, Miller, White ,etc cap hits, but these largely disappear in 2025. Go Bills.

we nearly went to the SB in what everyone poster here said 5 mos ago was. a complete "roster reset" , "wild card maybe" year ; geez . give me a break . sure, lets tear it all down. what a bunch on this board

In some ways, this is worse than the drought in my opinion
ProcessTruster replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
there you go. well said. Look at the Brightside (pun intended) ; now that the Bills are "losers" in the eye of the media, maybe the f ing league/media/ad revenue machine cabal will leave the Bills alone and give up a few more 1pm home starts next season that we can enjoy! How's that?! -

ah the media/league driven "SB or you're a loser" viewership/ad revenue driving hype train has trapped you as well. So, did you only watch the manufactured so-called college title game and ignore the rest of the season? do you only watch the NBA and NHL playoffs final rounds? they want you trapped in the all or nothing to max viewership of the max ad revenue games. to your point no one watches wk 3 bills/phins, so they have to funnel max viewership (to max ad revenue) into a single elimination "win or go home" - labelled tournament. Hey, I went to ***** ole Bills / Titans this year with my family and it was magnificent. That is a lasting memory, but all guys like you can think of now is they failed. Poisoned by the "SB or bust" mantra created by the media/advertiser/league cabal. Too bad. Have a crappy off season. I thought the season was pretty cool Cheers. -
pretty much. HOF coaches doing HOF coach things against first time coordinators. Both lines got bullied in spots for sure. Josh was off. Any they still almost pulled it off ! go bills

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.
ProcessTruster replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Josh kind of crapped the bed in several spots last night. Wasn't throwing it very well in spots. HOF coach Spags outcoached first time OC Brady for sure, which I would expect, but Josh had trouble compensating on the field as well. -
Frankly, while HOF coaches Spags and Reid brought the pain for sure, JA17 wasn't very good last night. Let's spread the criticism around to all the appropriate parties. Spags took the scramble away, and for whatever reason Josh simply wasn't his usual surgical self from the pocket last night. And the big bad O Line got handled in crunch time. They got worked by the higher talent, higher energy, HOF coached team last night. And they still almost pulled it off at the end. Go Bills.

Allen's worse pass of night was to the wrong ref

Why moving on from McDermott is tough due to logistics

true, maybe I'll wander over there as well, 15 min away. good spot. nuts, really. Jimmy and I grew up pretty close to each other... not sure the wife wants that madness tho, may need to wait on that one for the SB

Sterling, Virginia (outside of DC), might go up to the corner bar w/my son and cheer on the Redskins with locals for few hours though (they deserve some love after years of Dan Snyder) trying to avoid the nasty Iggles fans then maybe (or maybe not) come home for the Bills game, depending on bar vibe

I just think single elimination tournaments are such a crapshoot that to win one you need to keep going back year after year until the breaks/refs/turnover margins go your way for 3-4 games in a row and you get through it. H-ll, only half the teams in the leagues managed 4+ game winning streaks during the regular season when many games were against crap competition or at home or both. IMO the way to keep going back over and over again year after year is to have guys like Beane and McD stick to the process of roster and culture building that they have. go get the Allens, and the Hollins's of the world and build it. The only two exceptions to this rule in the past 30 years are maybe the Pats and now the Chiefs. And the Chiefs and Pats have "only" less than a 30% successs rate; got bounced from the tournament 2 out 3 tries. And they were loaded with HOF QBs and HCs. So much has to go right that I lean more on the program building side than the Rams "lets go buy a title" method from a few years back as they have been pretty much toast before and after that one tournament run. I want to keep getting back into the tournament with a legit shot to win it year after year. McBeanes IMO have ensured that with how they run the place. Trust the Process. By the law of averages, if nothing else, the trophies should come.

Beane can do a lot, bc those FA signings' first year salaries in many cases will be paid as a single bonus which is pro rated over many years for cap purposes, meaning you can sign several players both on todays roster (JA, Rousseau, etc) and from other teams under that 70m dead cap which is coming back , plus the cap will increase for next year, plus lots of 2024 cap salary will be dumped or lost to other teams. No crazy shopping spree, but a hell of a lot more than the nothing he could do last year. They have this thing wired for several years IMO

I see this coming in FA, Beane will fix this IMO
