  1. Just like during the season, every game (except the Ravens game) seemed to be a huge battle, at least until well into the 3rd quarter, when the Bills manufacture a break or two or a big play or two and pull away. The tournament will probably be the same as the teams are more evenly matched. Unfortunately in a single elimination tournament, a break or two either way in the second half probably determines who moves on in the tournament. Just the way they set it up.
  2. yeah turf toe pretty much knocks out any slot type receiver. hard to walk much less run. but it seems his recovery is complete now,... we'll see how it goes
  3. non event. nothing to see here
  4. everyplay I saw him on he was getting destroyed
  5. my current plan is to go party and watch my niece's husband play the WM Phoenix open and then watch the game in that big Bills bar in Scottsdale. that is simply the current plan.
  6. he'll come back next season looking like f ing AJ Brown. beef up that skinny rookie body and off we go
  7. I hope the Jets hire him instead of the Pats. his career will permanently be toast then and he can no longer hurt us. sh-tty way the think about it, but....
  8. last time I saw his metrics, they were super solid. yet another Beane winner. plus getting Kromer to coach them. McBeanes are killing it!
  9. I don't think so. He is clearly the backup mike (green dot on the helmet) mike LB. He has never seen action in the Milano role to my knowledge. Kid must have instincts and smarts to be designated so. Folks on the board need to realize that the Milano and Bernard roles are NOT interchangeable. Sigh.
  10. There is always one upset, you are correct. I'm thinking Bucs at home. --- 'Skins have been very fortunate this year, but kudos to the group here, they have put the fans back in there seats here. Next year the home fans will re appear. The book is out on them now. No more hail mary wins I suspect.
  11. heartbreaking,... really.. A few more years of playoff purgatory for the Pats, please and thank you
  12. this is a bad idea for countless reasons this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field. this is a bad idea for countless reasons, many of which have already been stated. trust the process, McBeanes will bring you your precious SB , but only in the context of ongoing quality, productivity and winning on the field.
  13. but this D does lead in turnovers, thats the point. its a point of emphasis, not just "hope we get some" ; its a way of playing. One turnover is worth 2 punts. Protect the ball on offense, turn them over on defense. Its not luck, its a strategy, an approach. Fanbase needs to get over "Chris Jones" syndrome. there are like 5 guys of that type in the entire league (Vea, Simmons, a couple others) and that is it and they are locked up. Sure Beane will go back to the draft to get one, but drafting in the 30's ain't getting that done. What the Bills do is an alternative to having a Chris Jones and it is working.
  14. Typically, agents of top RBs at this stage of their rookie deal have them hold out for a new contract. Don't come to OTAs, the whole bit. Expect Cook to do that in the spring.
  15. i think we've kind of worn out this topic. They're playing the attacking, penetrating style of defense that fits the personnel they have and the offense they have. Is what it is. I'd rather this than Reggie Ragland three steps behind RBs and Kelce every down. You need to make a choice. As long as Josh lights 'em up on offense (and 9 out of 10 times he does) , this D scheme works just fine.
  16. Dorian will not be playing MLB, he never has. I believe the depth chart is Spector then Buffalo Joe, maybe Morrow? This could end up being a problem.
  17. yeah me too. whoopee no flag football
  18. this guy has more money than g-d, who gives a crap if he puts another 1.5 on top of it
  19. I am betting Josh goes superman this tournament season and gets the Bills through the NFL tournament. But a bunch of uncontrollable ***** could happen in one game (Josh gets hurt, LBs go down one by one, refs sh-t the bed, Bass loses his mind) and we're out. Who knows in a single elimination tournament. Complete crapshoot.
  20. Other than Bosa, Bosa, Watt, Hendrickson, and a couple others who are locked up, those guys don't exist. Beane shot the cap on Von and Tre and was rewarded for going off script and off cap with expensive, injured, probably washed $50m cap hits. So stop with the "we need Bosa" stuff, we have him but he's on offense. Lets go break the scoreboard and win that way. Works for me.
  21. They've done it (ie: built a dynasty). They have been winning 70% of their games for 5+ f ing years. Who else has done this? KC maybe I guess, but whatever. The Bills are "built to last"; McBeanes trust their process and it has paid off big time. Screw the ad-dollar-media dollar driven single eiimination "tournament" at the end of the year; if that's your only definition of success in the NFL, you must be a very sad person. Get on your hands and knees and be thankful these two guys showed up 7 years ago.
  22. yes they are. Beane and McDermott have built a fine organization and stuck to their process re: the type of players they want and have not wavered. Win or lose this playoff season. and: the rest of this board needs to do a better job of just enjoying this ride...
