Really good game for von to become von again
ProcessTruster replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd scratch him until he's ready to go. It is what it is. He can't play with that crazy brace on. -
John Warrow gets "corrected" by McDermott
ProcessTruster replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
and he correctly pronounced "Buffalo" with the appropriate two syllables. well done. -
yeah, enough of this media narrative that the Bills can't run the ball.

One big reason for optimism - the QBs
ProcessTruster replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
winning the division outright seems the only way. Phins have Jets 2x twice (no qb) Commanders (rookie qb) Titans (really rookie qb) Cowboys Ravens Bills If Bills go 3-2 and Phins go 3-3 , then it all comes down to week 18 in Miami. They need to lose one lousy game between the Jets, Titans or Ravens. This seems the only path, unless Bills run the table (which they won't) -

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
ProcessTruster replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
so if McD goes , then Beane goes as well, which clears the house top to bottom. then a complete restart, roster changeout and suck for 2-3 years. thats the way it works in the NFL. You willing to go through that in Josh's best years simply bc you dislike McD? Be careful what you wish for. -
Bills will need to take care of the fish themselves. Week 18.

I heard that loud and clear brother. I lucked into the #1 pick in my full PPR, 18 player roster fantasy draft and took Jefferson of course. Things have turned out incredibly badly; can't replace him and WRs are the key piece in this league. Awful.

He's the reason we win and the reason we lose most games and since we win 2 out of 3 games, its all good.

pretty sure Brady won't be having time to be making any big changes until over the bye week.

Does Allen hold some accountability for personnel decisions?

17 is a lot more responsible for the teams current position than fans are willing to admit. that is clear from this board -
Some thoughts re AFC, JA, McBeane and Injuries
ProcessTruster replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall
From everything everyone has read and heard , McBeanes are 110% a package deal. No piece-parting this group. This is not plug and play fantasy football, if McD goes , history shows that the entire front office and coaching staff pretty much go as well, and 5 years of staff and roster re-tooling suck will ensue. If that's what you want after 2 weird losses, you need to re-examine your fandom . Why would you want to blow the whole thing up after a slew of key injuries and at 5-5 ? Just because your tailgate 12 pack went down a little sour for a couple weeks? Are Cinci fans calling for heads now that they've lost a couple in a row, one to Houston? JA is exciting to watch, etc, but after 5 years and miles of tape study, D coordinators have figured out the superman routine and now he needs to decide to play like Burrow, Rodgers, etc. ie, like a fully functioning NFL QB. If he can't, then its on 17, and no coaching change will change that. Come on, people -
There's only one thing that can save this season now...

and Dick Lebeau back as DC and Antoine Winfield zone blitzing off the edge. ah those were the days -
yeah Erik Turner and Anthony do a pretty good job of explaining how the pass offense is mostly "option routes" mid-play where both QB and WR must make the same read and assume the same re route and pass in real time. Also explains why Tavon Austin an Fournette said and are saying how hard the pass offense is to learn . Its not " go run these routes" it's " go out, see what they do and then run whatever route option works against it" -- in real time. That's tough.

TNF: Bengals vs Ravens - Who are we rooting for?
ProcessTruster replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
we are rooting for several pulled hamstrings to key starters for both teams. hate to say it, but as we have seen, injuries are the great equalizer in today's NFL. backups are not nearly as good as the starters -

wow, folks are already working out mock drafts. this board....

typlcal poll the day after a tough loss. results not relevant. After 20 years of suck, I for one do not want to start over with a new coaching staff , which will lead to a completely re tooled roster, since Beane will probably go with McD. Which means you are advocating for clearing the building and starting over? That is insane.

should be interesting as now there is nowhere else to go with blame other than 17. IMO, most of the disappointing offense is Josh's not being willing to play QB, he wants to be Superman. Defenses know how to contain and beat the latter, not so much the former. Is what it is. Fans just don't want to face it (yet)

is there a HC out there worth going after?
ProcessTruster replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah, he or Bienemy would be the logical candidates. Bienemy will be free to change as the entire Redskins staff will be flushed by the new owner at season end. Johnson will be extremely popular and can name his spot/ will be wildly expensive. Of course this would have the team completely starting over from scheme / roster rebuild to fit the scheme standpoint, but silly fans don't seem to get that part. -
Mid season OC changeouts very rarely go well.
