  1. I like Hopkins, think he’s a great talent but need a bit of a friendly contract and I honestly don’t think this unit is in bad shape with the addition of Kincaid. Plus with Oliver’s extension and the signing of Floyd I don’t see them kicking any cash down the line unless it’s Dawkins. There’s a lot of potential key players; whether role or rotational, who will be Free Agents these next 2 years. With Josh’s contract, Center and both Tackle spots a question mark in that time frame, going to need to inject money to one of those which won’t be cheap. Be it new tackle/s, Dawkins, Brown or a new Center (can’t see Morse lasting), might as well get a potential generational talent on the cheap for a cost controlled 4/5 years to pair with Diggs tail end of his career. On another note, 2026 looks to be just as an expensive off-season. Just my 2¢
  2. Wasn’t that much really, think we only moved up 4/5 spots. Watkins was ridiculous in college and really improperly used for spells here. Don’t know why it didn’t work out for such a talented prospect. Kid was special in college… even if it was a lot of underneath and YAC production.
  3. Couple of firsts, obviously. Maybe a player also. We’ve seen before where consensus top 10 prospects from the last year have a drop in value due to a myriad of things; injury, lack of production, off the field issues. Anything can happen. Will the latter two happen with his background and track record? Doubtful. So injury is the most likely to cause him to drop down boards. You also have to factor in needs and risers throughout the year. May be possible he ends up going in the 10 to 20 range. Wouldn’t be too hard to jump into those spots. Let’s just hope the wheels don’t fall off this year and we are picking in the ball park of 20 anyway 😂 Either way, as it would be projected, it will take some decent capital to get to an area where we can pick him. Unless someone in the room develops into a serious weapon opposite Diggs, might as well swing for the fences whilst Josh is here. Just feel this guy is on par with Julio Jones/AJ Green of recent years.
  4. She attended all 57 SuperBowls?! Absolutely impressive! Great for her that the last one she attended was her Chiefs winning it all.
  5. Harrison Jr. Tank? No. Give up the capital or assets to get him? Yes.
  6. Your idea of numbers is off. Look, you are enamored with Beane, that’s cool. But this isn’t an attack on him for filling a position a year earlier that is likely to become a problem. It’s how he’s done it. Your statement of “he isn’t even paid in the top half of #1 DTs” is wild. Because he is precisely paid in the top half when it comes to guarantees in the contract he signed. So I’m not seeing how you come to that conclusion. Secondly, please don’t disparage my belief that he should be “changing games regularly”. He should. Without question. Especially as in your post you believe him to be the #1 DT on this team… Top 10 draft pick. #6 in guaranteed salary with this new contract. Pretty simple there brother… they view/ed him as a game changer talent to draft him that high and have paid him so. Yet statistics show he has a tendency to disappear when it matters. Again, don’t disparage my post because you disagree. Especially when your tee-off statement is inaccurate.
  7. Hence my point about the biggest moments. He’s a good player, not knocking or throwing shade his way. But from financial and draft capital stand points, he’s not meeting expectations. At least to me.
  8. For drafted position and contract there absolutely should be an expectation for him to be changing game’s regularly. No one is asking for ludicrous stat lines just consistency. 6-8 sacks a year would be great.
  9. I don’t know man. It just doesn’t seem like he shows up in the biggest moments needed. Especially from a pass rushing perspective.
  10. From everything I read it seems like he’d rather have someone he knows on the roster at that position come seasons end and not have to scramble to find a body that can produce. I like Ed, think he has flashes of a very decent player, but he’s inconsistent for that amount of money… Let’s hope this doesn’t come back to hurt us financially.
  11. Wasn’t there a large amount of traction in the “Dalvin Cook to Miami” conversation a month or so back? Was the Vikings past season pretty much a fluke to be the success it was?… negative point differential, winning virtually every single close/one score game… Maybe they feel the wheels are coming off this year? Can’t see it being that. Especially with the loss of Rodgers and questions surrounding the Pack. Chicago? Who knows what you’re getting there. Lots of roster improvement may lead to the success they’ve been waiting for. All contingent on Fields though… huge ? there. Which leaves Detroit. They’re pretty much on par with one another and going into the start of the season most would probably hang their hat on either of them winning the division. This, to me, feels just like getting rid of an RB on a non-friendly contract who is progressively showing the signs of aging.
  12. Said to my buddy at work the other day when he got released that all the talk about Buffalo, KC and NO being landing spots… Cleveland is the most probable IMO. He loved playing with Watson, they need the talent at the position and can provide him with better financial compensation than Bills and Chiefs. They also aren’t that badly built a team and have the possibility to make some ground in the division prodviding Deshaun was just rusty the remainder of last year…
  13. The only annoyance I found with NFL+ was the inability to cast from a device or multi-stream. But it is a fraction of the cost Sunday Ticket will set you back. However, with the accessibility and inclusion on most platforms/devices of YouTube(TV), Sunday Ticket is looking more of an option. The only thing holding me back is the price… “not too appealing” is an understatement IMO. Total price gouging on a cornered market. 🤮 Keep us updated on your decision 👍
  14. @billsfan89 Denver (absolutely overlooked), NYJ, Dallas and Philly are tough outings. Throw in the Fish who have improved. Chargers, Chiefs and Giants who all fielded respectable defenses for the year; if not significant portions. Which leaves Tampa, Raiders, Jags and Washington. Not all bad by any standard. Plus old Billy boy who had his own play very well at times. Going to be a tough year. Hopefully the statement is “better equipped” period.
  15. Actually just watched that Jacksonville game the other day… Massive stinker is absolutely correct but that wasn’t on Daboll. All Allen. On both teams. Josh had so many better open throws underneath or the checkdown and decided to pass them up for the bigger play; When he did hit the open guy for a shorter pass attempt it was more often than not Singletary or Beasley who had someone right on his hip or no ability to turn upfield. Big play attempts I’ve noticed are an absolute must and a tendency of this offensive style in closer games… Put pressure on the other team to have to match the Bills production just as quickly. Then the other side of things is the Jags Josh Allen. Dude was a game wrecker all day long. Massive props have to go there too. Overall in terms of playcalling Daboll had an ability to adjust the game plan and reel Josh back in when he was getting away from the game, more often than not. Dorsey? Yet to see that. And the meltdown against Cinci in the P/O’s, in my opinion, is indicative of a guy who needs to learn that sometimes things have to go out of the window. I don’t think Dorsey is bad by any standards but I believe that Josh elevates A LOT around him. Guess we will see. We can only hope as there are several, going by last year and their additions this off-season, decent defenses we see throughout the schedule this year.
  16. Honestly think you have to continue to use Josh the way they have with the exception of so many QB sneaks. He has way too much value and talent that can overload a defense when he’s used in a mobile manner. And That’s where Murray and/or Harris will have their best value. Josh just has to be smarter with how a play is finished… “Make a business decision” is the proverbial phrase.
  17. QB play wasn’t THAT bad out in the bay… wasn’t great either but nowhere near the incompetency that the Jets had bro.
  18. If Tom ever has anything to do with that franchise it is an absolute slap in the face to their fans and Mark Davis should be ashamed of himself. Then you see his hair cuts and realize he can easily make a bad decision. Will prob’ happen then.
  19. Chuck Clark can do nothing but help that secondary. Which is a frustrating thought. Curious to see if they switch Whitehead to a role closer to the one he had in Tampa but their defense will always go through Q-Will. If they improve as a whole and get better production from Johnson2 and McDonald4, they could be a serious problem. Again, a frustrating thought.
  20. As @teef would say… This **** place….
  21. Actually about one of the only things the NFL does that I think has some form of value these days as it’s by players for players. Now, this isn’t a personal Top 10 but those who I think will be the Top 10: 1). Mahomes 2). Jefferson 3). Kelce 4). Hill 5). Hurts 6). Burrow 7). Josh 8). Parsons 9). Bosa 10). Sauce Gardner Yeah but a lot of it goes down to Playoff teams… which is why I think Burrow will edge Josh on the list. Think the list with Josh @ #1 either belongs to a divisional opponent or a teammate. Or maybe a Bills fan @ heart?
