  1. I am confused, Bates went in for Ford before he was injured? Ford was benched or injured too?
  2. I'd say its you. Two games against Patriots matter much more. Win those and we win division almost no matter what. Not to mention the message it sends. But yeah this one is big. We need to bounce back, Saints are missing key players, it is on national stage...
  3. Exactly. What can be better than staying awake whole night to watch game which starts 2.20 am local time On a bright side, I am lucky enough to be able to take day off whenever I want, so I can sleep whole Friday. Go Bills!
  4. Cmon man don't do this to me! I was there as student in 2000 through Work and Travel program and those were best days of my life. I need to check their web. I guess that Millennium Force isn't the biggest coaster anymore
  5. How exactly did he "ignore" the trenches? First four (!) Bills draft picks in 2021 were OL or DL, our first pick year before was DL, we got Star back this year, he resigned Williams and Feliciano and it is hard to argue that at least first one was above average in pass blocking last year. You can say that he is making wrong moves but he is not ignoring DL and OL. And I am always wondering what are fans expecting. In my understanding there were like 3 or 4 interior linemen available in FA who were "sure" upgrades versus what we had. But there are 32 teams in the league, competing for same players. Some players want to go elsewhere, some just want money and maybe Beane didn't want to overpay (which is a good thing in general). Maybe he really should draft Humphrey instead of Basham, but it is not like he has thousands of options and he is blind to see them. Again, we can always argue that he made wrong moves but he is not ignoring trenches.
  6. I fully expect us to get back on track soon and easily get into to the playoffs where everything is possible. We are much better than it seems right now. But many other scenarios are possible ofc.
  7. Ok so one guy. My point is that even though Oliver is probably not what we hoped for he is still close to BPA from any realistic options. Metcalf is very specific case many people loved him but there was apparently league-wide consensus among GMs that he was very limited. People looking for pitchforks have no clue what they are talking about imo. Like I said somewhere else we have 5th best regular season record in last 3 years and just were in AFCCG. Beane has apparently made wrong decisions in both draft and FA but all GMs do those. Lets at least let this season play out and then revisit his decisions (and compare them to the rest of the league).
  8. Maybe, but who would you replace him with even in hindsight? Granted I know knothing but I don't see anybody. I have hard time counting Metcalf given how late he actually went (although I'd count him for people who were actually banging the drum hard for him @ 9).
  9. We have 5th best regular season record in the whole league over the last 3 seasons and were in AFCCG last year. Why are even reasonable posters going crazy after couple of bad losses? He is as safe as anybody, as well as Beane.
  10. He was picked 29th out of 32 players in second round.
  11. Game is not over but we need to stop them on defense early on each drive and make no offensive mistakes.
  12. I think many people are actually enjoying it. They love to be miserable.
  13. I wonder when people start bashing Klein the way they like to bash Edmunds.
  14. Some of you are way too dramatic imo. It's not the end of the world. Just because the line was horrible against Jags without him it doesn't mean that happens again. Not a good news though. Especially if it means that he is out on Thanksgiving too and especially if he actually has Covid which can influence him when he returns.
  15. Well this is not true. He might be released to save those $6M in order to sign 4 cheap players just to fit under the cap. In other words, you might release a player because you have to without any ambition to find comparable replacement. Which is exactly what may happen to Cole if you look at our cap situation.
  16. Ok. What I meant was that in general I dislike when people talk about players which we could've drafted when these players were just ignored in many rounds by many teams. But if you were really into Trey Smith then fine. Anyway, I don't wish him well too. I don't want to hear about another Teller story (another thing I dislike).
  17. Knox, Brown and Rousseau are unexpected studs. How could you not mention Brown.
  18. FYP. Otherwise I agree, hopefully need will match with quality and we get some good IOL in the second. If there is a stud one in first, I wouldn't hesitate too (pick 32).
  19. I touched this in GTD. How do you see things now? I love playing with sportrac and you are exactly right starting next year. We have like 14M cap space right now and need to sign 17 or so players. To do so even for 1-2M contracts we need couple of restructures/cuts and it will be really tough to keep/gain players for 5-7M/season. Klein seems like top cut candidate (followed by Beasley, Star and maybe Morse/Williams/Feliciano, though I'd hate to cut OL unless we can somehow get better guys). But he really seems like great player for a backup which makes it quite a tough decision.
