  1. Eagles at Jets is quite entertaining and interesting game.
  2. I think that your last sentence sort of contradicts what you wrote before. I don't remember that resigning Williams was in any way questioned before the season, I'd say we were all pretty happy. Predicting Dawkins decline was also nearly impossible, and I still believe covid is the main reason. I think it is really hard to question FO when it comes to tackles. They kept both above average starters on OL which was working last year, and added 3rd pick in Brown (who seems to be very good) and another developmental depth in Doyle. They also tried to add depth in Hart. As for guards, they resigned Feliciano, who was serviceable, and added Forrest Lamp who was experienced starter IIRC (I don't remember what went wrong with him). They had apparently some faith in Ford at guard and I struggle to blame them since he played a lot at tackle his rookie season and was injured a lot in the second season. They took a shot with Anderson in draft. I think people overestimate any GM's ability to upgrade IOL through FA. How many free agents were in fact available who would for sure upgrade our OL? How many of them were affordable? Would you overpay for any of them? I am not saying that it was impossible to do anything, I am just saying that options were extremely limited and you are competing with 31 other teams and have salary cap. Most glaring (only?) mistake seems to be taking Basham over Humphrey or maybe someone else in draft. I remember that I wanted IOL in the secound round after we took Rousseau and Humphrey seemed like a very obvious choice. But they probably felt that Basham was too big of a value not to take him, and I love this approach in general. Right now it seems that they misjudged their talent, and it also seems that even if they felt that Basham was BPA this was a place to deflect slightly from BPA and fill (very important) position of need. I guess/hope that they will learn from that. But yeah in general I am a huge fan of building an OL, even at expense of being worse elsewhere. So I hope next season Beane will be more active in this respect (and I am pretty sure he will). EDIT: Maybe they did not take Humphrey because they saw him as center only. I think he plays center for Chiefs, right? Was there anybody else worth taking in the second? Next OG taken was Wyatt Davis at 86 to Vikings.
  3. Where is an OL mentioned in your original post? You were comparing QBs.
  4. Agreed and Bills were still 2 yards from victory at road. We are much better then we seem right now.
  5. It is absolutely hilarious. And its not you. It is all year long on any of my devices here in Europe, so they are definitely decided that he just doesn't exist lol.
  6. I don't know if it changes anything but that kick was intentional.
  7. How the hell is that not a TD? He wasn't touched and he clearly didn't give himself up.
  8. I guess it didn't piss you of when they faced Saints with Winston and Kamara while we met them completely depleted. It is just the way it works.
  9. I respectfully disagree. You are consistent with this theory but I think you are being little too dramatic and at the same time wrong. Did our SB chances just suffer a hit? Sure. Are we doomed because we do not have 3 elite players? Hell no. I think you are wrong from many reasons. 1. Theory does not work in general. You can win SB with 1 elite player (QB) and otherwise great team, or you can win with 5 elite players and average team, as well as average QB and elite defense. There are many ways. 2. Even if you were right, are you sure that when the playoff comes, we will not have 3-4 elite players again? Are you sure that Poyer is not elite player already? And are you sure other will not be when January comes? What about Oliver? Edmunds? Knox? I'd say we are not very far from the moment when we can say that either of them is a difference maker. 3. If you say that you need 3-4 elite players to win SB, who will even represent AFC in SB? The only team which fits the condition are Chiefs imo (Mahomes, Hill, Kelce). Are you saying that we will not be able to beat them anymore without Tre? As for other teams, who are these 3-4 elite players on Ravens? Titans? Patriots? Chargers? Bengals? I don't see more than 2 on any AFC team. There are couple of NFC teams which have 3-4 elite players, but I seriously doubt that AFC team (whoever it is) will not stand a chance due to having of less elite players. 4. Are you sure that all SB teams had at least 3 elite players? Granted I am no expert, but which truly elite players had 2017 Eagles? 2015 Broncos? I am only asking about last 6 years, since I haven't followed NFL before, so I am sure same question could be asked about many teams before.
  10. Point is that we most likely split with Patriots. If we do that, we can afford same number of other losses as them to win the division. So if we lose to Tampa, we need them to drop one. The sooner the better, so why not now against Titans.
  11. TO makes no sense if we don't go for it now. Just take delay of game and punt it.
  12. Ignore feature is your friend. It does wonders. You block 10 people and GDT becomes civil and readable.
  13. Taron missing lots of tackles lately. Edmunds is on fire though.
  14. I am confused, Bates went in for Ford before he was injured? Ford was benched or injured too?
