I used to love listening to Al Michaels, Dan Diedorf and Frank Gifford. Since we're on the subject, what the hell is wrong with all the announcers now? Is it just me thinking everything was better in my youth, or are they all sh*t now? I like Romo, I like Michaels and don't actually mind Collinsworth. I miss guys like Enberg and Summerall. There must be some really talented guys doing college football radio or something. Where the hell are the talent spotters? It's like they just want guys to call the games now. With football games being 3 hours long they have all those stories and drama that develop over the course of a game. You need people who can explain the drama, people who can fill in the blanks during stoppages and time-outs, people who can make a game fun even when it's a blowout or a punt fest.

Have to say, before the season I thought the Bills offense would be really fun to watch. I felt they'd make their fair share of mistakes, but would be very entertaining. How wrong I was. Singletary is really the only entertaining thing about this offense.

My two takeaways from the first half: - Singletary's vision and movement is just incredible. Love the way he changes direction when he's boxed in. Hope he consistently gets the ball for the rest of the year! - Our run defense is really worrying. Everyone knows the Skins are just going to try and run is constantly, and we still can't stop a 1 dimensional team? McD really needs to get it sorted out

Sports is a weird thing. 5 - 2 with a great chance of making the playoffs and suddenly everyone starts menstruating. If we blow out the Redskins everything will be sunshine and poetry for a week!
