  1. Yeah, I really regret snorting coke and banging three prostitutes before last week's game. I guess what works for Kraft and the Pats isn't going to work for everyone
  2. Do you know what I love about this place? I just read your post, this pretty poignant, thoughtful post that nods to the passing of time, hints at the inevitability of old age, and finds the silver lining of the next generation starting their married life together. Than I look down and see that your post was liked by MILF HUNTER. I genuinely laughed out loud
  3. If Duke scores a TD tomorrow then the collective wad blowing from forum posters is going to show up on the Richter Scale
  4. Only his second year and Darnold is already a has-spleen
  5. No thanks. Spleen there, done that
  6. Foreskins? No offense to any Jews
  7. Clearly the way around this is to rename all the teams to have 'softer' sounding names and logos on the helmets. We could have the: Kansas City Kittens Miami Marshmallows Tennessee Teddy Bears Buffalo Bunnies Washington Sheep Skins Seattle Slippers and we'll change the Chargers to the LA Slow, Careful Approachers
  8. Love Frank. But I have to say, the fact that he's 36 and thought of as an old man makes me (several years beyond 36) feel reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy ***** old
  9. I agree Jones is pretty sucky. He just hasn't ever improved. I will say that I do worry a little about what he might do to himself when he gets cuts. Not to be melodramatic but when you look at his mental health history, I could see him doing something stupid when he realises he doesn't have what it takes. Even the way he plays, it's weird, he seems like a nice guy and his teammates and coaches seem to love him, so it's not like he doesn't do the right things through camp and during the week. But when he plays he looks like someone with no confidence in himself. I do wonder what's going on in the kid's head. When they axe him I hope they point him in the direction of a good shrink
  10. Watkins or Woods make the most sense I guess. But I would like to see Fred Jackson playing in this offense. Actually, Gore's long on Sunday actually reminded me of Jackson
  11. This might just be the greatest post I've ever read here
  12. Brett Favre is one of the few players I actually really miss seeing play not that he's retired. He was just so unpredictable, so much fun and played with so much joy.
  13. He should just turn up at Josh's house, and when Allen says "what the hell is Brett Favre doing here?" he can reply "I'm in town to play the Dolphins, you dumb ass." Allen will just assume he's still concussed
  14. Ah, apologies! There's so much complaining today by people I didn't even see that
  15. The coach who's created one of the top defenses in the league? Yeah, he's terrible
  16. Hey! You're that guy who hates Josh Allen! You should let people know
  17. This is getting silly now. We lost to the SB champs by 6 points. The sky isn't falling. I miss Mills like I miss having the clap
  18. It struck me when they picked off Barkley and then showed Brad's reaction that he looked devoid of emotion. Didn't even look relieved.
  19. Not that it matters but you know we won't drop much in the power rankings. If anything it shows we are legit. If we can just figure out how to score more points. But that defense of the Pats is so good, most other defenses will be easy in comparison
  20. I did. Like I said, he was pretty crap today. My point is, if Murray leads the comeback against the Bengals they all fall over themselves to call him a miracle maker etc. Allen does it and they sort of give him credit but then talk about the INT earlier and focus on that. Allen has played pretty much a whole season now. Personally I don't think he's done too badly. He's not been amazing by any stretch but he's done some amazing things.
  21. Also I'd like to point out how much media bias goes into a lot of people's thinking. Allen was called the risky guy, the guy most likely to bust, the guy with a poor completion % etc. so people harp on about that. I was just watching a bit of the Cards game and every time Kyler Murray throws a pass or runs out of the pocket the announcers fall over themselves to say how amazing and athletic he is. Just like they used to with Vick. It's such bull####.
  22. He was bad no doubt. My main annoyance is with the lunatics in the game thread saying he should be benched etc. I do think he's actually getting a bit pissed that none of his deep throws are connecting. That's the thing he loves to do, it's what he's known for, and I think the more that fall incomplete or get INTed, the more agitated he gets, so he ends up trying to force them where they just don't exist. That's also why he held the ball too long on those two sacks that cost us FGs
