To be fair, you can see why people might think this. We've seen a lot of teams crash and burn after being predicted great seasons, remember the Jags a couple of years ago, or the Eagles 'dream team'. It will be interesting to see how this team handles the pressure and expectation.

Such sad news. One of the things that sucks more and more as you get older is that so many people who played such a big part of your youth end up fading away one by one. I'd honestly be surprised if Belichick signs a 'known'' QB. I think he's going to be so motivated to do well this season with this roster so he can show what a genius he is, that he can do it without Brady and a roster people are writing off. At this point Brady and Belichick are like two songwriting partners who have had a bunch of hits but each one feels the other guy unfairly gets too much of the credit.
