  1. Man, this guy catches breaks the way he throws passes
  2. This is great. Have to say though I do get all misty eyed when I see clips from the late 80s - early 90s. Not just because we were really good then but it just looks like such a different time. I showed a kid I work with some clips and he couldn't believe how different the game looked. I much preferred the way the game was played then, I also preferred the sportscasters and the way they talked about the game.
  3. Guy is one of my heroes. He just had 'it', plus he had to balls to stand up to the giant that was the NFL and deliver. For that alone (and the effect it had on pro football's popularity) he deserves to be in the hall.
  4. I can see why some 'experts' would predict the Bills to have a disappointing season. They're the media darlings this year to a certain extent, and every year there's a few teams everyone expects to take that next step but end up falling back into the pile. The Jags did it last year after getting a lot of prediction to reach the super bowl. I haven't read the article but I'm guessing they say we're a talented team with an average QB who doesn't have what it takes to play conistently well enough.
  5. That's no way to talk to one of God's messengers
  6. Somebody mention Covid-19 so the thread gets locked
  7. Time to kick up the bass
  8. They should run a competition where ONE Bills fan gets to sit and watch on his/her own.
  9. Dan Snyder strikes me as the kind of guy who has a mirrored ceiling in his bedroom. And several hidden cameras in the bathroom.
  10. Ironically he looks like God's first attempt at Al Davis that went wrong. Like Seth Brundle's first try at sending the baboon through the teleportation machine.
  11. Damn, and there was me hoping for "OJ's Safe House"
  12. With better coaching, JP Losman could have been a good QB
  13. I think Beane sent some of his muscle to see him. "if you're ain't playing for the Bills you ain't playing for anyone. "
  14. I guess regular mortals like us have a hard time understanding why someone good enough to be drafted by an NFL team (even in the 7th round) would toss it away before they've even started, but I guess if the passion isn't there or you have worries about potential brain issues down the line, or whatever it might be, then you're not going to have any hope of being even half the player you hope to be. Some guys probably try and stick with it just to make some money, but I kind of admire the ones who say "this just isn't for me" and go off to do something else. It must be a tough decision.
  15. Tom Brady got accused of the same thing until they realised it WAS a player
  16. I feel very different about this news to how I felt the day we extended Dick Jauron. This is like thinking you're nearly out of spending money for your vacation and then finding roll of 20s in your back pocket. Jauron was like thinking you're finally over the flu and then finding out you have AIDS. So glad to get him signed up, one less thing to worry about. Now let's get a contract under Beane's nose
  17. Even this year, I think Beane was so smart for trading away the first for Diggs
  18. I thought this was a strange question. Then I saw it was asked by a Jets fan and it all made sense.
