  1. Possibly my favorite moment from all of last season.
  2. As great as it is to see your first rounders do well, it's so much more rewarding when guys like Milano defy expectations and become great players
  3. I don't see him looking like a sixth rounder but I'd settle with him being ordinary, pretty much how he looked most of last year.
  4. It's funny. When I was a kid Marv Levy was old. Now I'm old, and he's still old. That started out as such a great game. Tasker's blocked punt, Thurman's TD, the big gain by Reed to take them down near the goal line. Such a shame they couldn't punch it in. Then the Cowboys scored those two TDs right at the end of the half and it just killed the game. The turnovers just wrecked the Bills in the last 3 super bowls.
  5. Every time I read his name in an article or tweet I think "why do they keep calling him a star? There's no way he's a ***** star at DT!" then I remember it's his name. As to the news, I'm not too concerned with Harry coming back and the additional help they brought in via free agency to go with Oliver
  6. So if a guy opts out then he essentially is dropping out of the whole season? A player couldn't say "I choose not to come to camp because I'm afraid of catching Covid", then turn up a week before the season and say he'd like to play? I haven't followed this at all so I'm unsure of how it all works.
  7. Something REALLY long, just to piss off the game announcers each week. "Hey NFL fans, welcome to Home Of The 12th Man AKA The Best Fans in the Universe (Not Just The NFL) Who Really Love Eating Wings While Hating The Patriots in Equal Measure And Man Didn't Those Four Super Bowl Losses Suck, Oh Well There's Always This Year So Long As Josh Plays Like We Know He's Capable Stadium! Here's the kickoff... huh? It's the end of the first quarter already?"
  8. I don't think it's about him being too weak to fight back, more that he just refuses to hit a woman, especially when he could probably kill her with one shot. Imagine if he did hit her and put her in hospital, what would that do to his career.
  9. Good for him, that's great that he's putting others first by working on the front line
  10. It's a smart move (which I'm surprised to say considering the franchise) in the sense that a) it gives them more time to throw names around and b) they can see if the fans adopt a certain name during the year. The way things spread on social media, it's quite possible they could have a new unofficial name by season's end (that's if there is a season) and they could always adopt that for good (provided it's not something stupid like The Trumps...)
  11. Decals? Pah! If they really cared they'd get it tattooed on themselves
  12. That will be better - the previous 2 Super Bowl MVPs going head-to-head in a throw off
  13. Any keen Sopranos fans will understand my suggestion of Flatbush Stadium
  14. Where the ***** does time go? Seems like yesterday I was watching JP throw his first career TD pass to Peters
  15. If things got crazy and they did go after it, I say just call the team Buffalo. No nickname at all. As someone else said, the Bills part makes no sense and has nothing to do with the logo and other branding. The name Buffalo is so badass as a place name anyway, and the logo is great as well. So I'd be more than happy with just Buffalo
  16. I've been hearing Braves or Warriors. I like Capitols
  17. I think it's great that Nike have withdrawn their support of the Redskins. Not only does it help highlight the offensive team name, but also helps distract the public from the fact that Nike are quite happy to oppress the workers in the far east who produce their clothes. "a 2018 report by the Clean Clothes Campaign, found that Adidas and Nike still pay “poverty” wages to workers."
  18. To be fair, you can see why people might think this. We've seen a lot of teams crash and burn after being predicted great seasons, remember the Jags a couple of years ago, or the Eagles 'dream team'. It will be interesting to see how this team handles the pressure and expectation.
  19. It's pretty embarrassing how some companies only do the 'right' thing when they see no other way out, other than negative press and loss of revenue.
  20. As Bill Hicks said (regarding people being offended by individuals burning the flag), the soldiers didn't die for the flag, they died for what the flag represents... which is the right to burn the flag. Honestly, I'm always shocked that someone would be so irate at the idea of a player kneeling during the anthem. Imagine if a member of your family was killed and you were refused justice, everyone refused to even listen to you. Then a player hears about it and kneels during the anthem to draw attention to your story. Would you tell them "thanks but no thanks"?
  21. As long as he can kick the game winning FG in SB 55 (...in Tampa)
  22. Brady told Robert Kraft they can cure STIs so Bob bought 5 cases. He always takes three with a glass of water following a massage.
