  1. Van Roten was afflicted with snapping disease. The cure is splinters in the behind.
  2. Aside from Bates, were there any actual injuries during the game (as opposed to heat exhaustion)?
  3. It's hard to remember things when you're old.
  4. Mahomes would have thrown it with his left hand
  5. I think I saw earlier, after the 4th down pass was incomplete in the end zone, Dorsey packed up his play sheets and started to head out of the booth. Apparently he thought better of it and came back.
  6. First time I've ever seen a team end both halves on failed spike plays
  7. You didn't like Gilliam's touchdown?
  8. Anyone remember the '72 Dolphins (the "greatest team ever")? Their starting QB, Bob Griese, went down in game 5 and their backup (Earl Morall) played the rest of the way, except the superbowl. As I recall, they went 17-0. Anyone around here ever hear of Frank Reich? Do you remember that Thurman was also out for the comeback game against Houston? As a famous person once said, R-E-L-A-X
  9. Micah may be on IR, but he's still on the All-Wife team.
  10. 1. D'Brickashaw Ferguson 2. Barkavious Mingo 3. Preston Riedelhuber 4. Equanimeous St. Brown Sorry, he's no better than fifth.
  11. Also throw in the occasional "minga"
  12. "It can be classified" as being a great fan.
  13. This guy is the biggest Bills fan on this board. I love his posts. Maybe his English isn't A1 but let's see you write posts in Italian and not sound like Chico Marx.
  14. but we're wearing white pants so everything should be OK
  15. Once in the 1970s I took a flight from Washington to Boston that stopped in Islip and again in New Haven (a "puddle jumper" from that bygone era). In Washington I noticed that they were loading a bunch of identical bags with Washington Capitals logos on them and sure enough the Caps were on my flight, flying up to Islip to play the Islanders. I can't imagine what a pain it must have been flying commercial on a crappy old propeller plane for those guys, for 40 or so road games a year. These days the players have it much easier, which BTW doesn't bother me at all. As Harry Doyle said in Major League, the guys suffered from propeller lag. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/eb840479-37e6-4e3f-8a01-5162b91f0a21
  16. Simmons said he didn't even watch the second half of Bills/Titans. He's a tool and knows next to nothing about non-NBA and non-Boston sports. He's a gambling addict as well (by his own admission). He is absolutely the last person in America to get on the Bills bandwagon and he'll be the first one off it as soon as there's a bump in the road.
  17. Old farts RULE this board
  18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobbie_Gentry
  19. How many besides me are old enough to get this?
  20. I was wrong, it was Mel Kiper
  21. Wasn't Christian Wade great? McBeane really messed up by not making him RB1 and I bet he can punt too. Etc. etc. etc.
  22. This bunch of guys has the cleanest balls in town these days.
  23. Agreed. I'd hate my post if someone else wrote it. But snark is fun. And a gloomy outlook is a hedge against further disappointment. My father would be so proud of me right now. He was the gloomiest Bills fan ever. I wonder if they get to see the games up there?
  24. You're right, we did beat KC handily last year. Just not the second time.
