  1. My confidence level was at about 7.5... but after reading some of the over confidence in this thread it has dropped to 6.3. 😄 Knew I shouldn't have come in here!
  2. I agree on the conditions not suiting Cook, Ty Johnson passing the concussion protocol is great news for Sunday though... Hopefully him and Fournette can have an impact on the ground in this one. Plus as someone mentioned above, the Bills D normally holds Harris to low yardage... Let's hope that continues on Sunday. Regarding Douglas, I'd be wary of playing him on Sunday, he hasn't practiced all week so there's obvious a fairly significant knee injury there. A slippy field won't help that and do we really need him against the Steelers passing offence? Dane Jackson is fairly good against the run if I'm not mistaken. Let's rest Rasul for when we need him against better passing threats.
  3. Totally Boneheaded Decision? (For what's it worth I still hold out a little hope for Elam 😄)
  4. I may be wrong, but wasn't the weather similar (to what is forecasted) for the Wild Card Patriots game 2 years ago? Bills won 47-17 and Allen went 21-of-25 for 308 passing yards and five touchdown passes.
  5. Williams was active too. I think (according to what I've read and listened to today) that Williams struggles with the window dressing and misdirection that the Dolphins do so much of and that Spector was the better fit last night. Against other opponents whose offensive scheme is easier for a LB to diagnose we would likely see Williams in ahead of Spector.
  6. You forget to say 'hear me out...' before you got going 😄 Not a bad theory in all seriousness ... I'll get behind anything that helps this team reach it's goal in February.
  7. No way. I'd much rather face Stroud in his very first playoff game in Buffalo than proven playoff Mahomes in KC. I'd go even further and say that (if we were to lose in the wildcard round) I'd rather lose to the Texans at home than have to sit through yet another playoff loss in Arrowhead.
  8. I just watched my team (Blackburn Rovers) lose too my friend... When that happens on a Saturday I always try and convince myself it's a good thing because (in my twisted logic) there's more chance of the Bills winning now 😄 very rarely do both my sports teams win in the same weekend! ... And the Bills are the priority, this week and every week. Go Bills.
  9. DAZN international NFL Game Pass should do the job for you. You might be able to get a week for 99p as I think they are doing offers currently. It works well for me in the UK, hopefully the same applies to Portugal. https://www.dazn.com/en-GB/news/american-football/nfl-game-pass-international-on-dazn-how-to-watch-live-games/214xfjy73nnw1o2olstv9ks5x
  10. I think we already did this: https://buffalobills.com/team/coaches-roster/marc-lubick He doesn't appear to be offering much in the way of help to McDermott in key situations/decision making.
  11. Not certain why... But I'm feeling good regarding our chances in this one. Let's remind the league what this team can be. Go Bills!
  12. https://www.buffalobills.com/team/injury-report/ ☝️ that's updated daily.
  13. I don't disagree. However isn't frustrating that any professional sports team, whose sole focus is to prepare and perform at optimum levels each and every week needing additional motivation, like being embarrassed the week previous, in order to be at their best?
  14. A lot of us saw enough in Elam to want him to start the season opposite White. Yes he had a poor showing on Sunday, but let's evaluate him over a bigger sample size and remember some of the upside he showed last season. With regards losing Daquan Jones, that is a real blow given his start to the season. However as I read someone else point earlier... If Poona Ford wasn't on our roster and Beane signed him today as a replacement, we'd be a lot more positive than we are currently. Let's see how it goes. At least we have a few softer games coming up to bring the replacements up to speed. Regarding linebacker...Hopefully Dorian Williams can make the improvements necessary with more live reps, because I don't think Dodson is it. Go Bills! Let's get to London out of the system by toppling the Giants. Side note... I hate the bad taste this London had left us with... It's the only game I've ever been to and can't even rewatch it! Great weekend though and met some great UK fans and folk from Buffalo.
  15. Nice to meet you guys earlier and thanks BritBill for the Brick Lane recommendation... the food was excellent. Go Bills! Let's have a great day tomorrow.
  16. Just landed in Gatwick (from Belfast) and on the train now into central London... plenty of Bills fans spotted already. Go Bills!
  17. This will be the first Bills game I've ever attended. Feeling quite fortunate that the team is on a roll and largely healthy (prayers up for Tre). Can't wait. See you all there, Go Bills!
  18. Completely agree... but we will need quality competition/backup for Elam. Benford/Elam/Jackson isn't enough.
  19. He was on their injury report (neck) but practised in full all week so not sure really.
  20. Conor Williams and Eli Apple inactive for the Dolphins. Eichenberg at centre for them. That's a plus for us!
  21. Kingsley Jonathan active. Floyd's ankle injury must be a concern.
  22. Elam is at least showing the correct attitude in the situation he has found himself in. Saying all the right things.(see below) https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/kaiir-elam-roster-benched-comments-reaction/ I'm taking the positive on the Elam benching in that it's not that he's terrible, it's that Benford is seen as a better option right now. Elam provides decent/good cover at the position with room to improve.
  23. With the Bills Backers London main bar (Fitzrovia Belle) booked up to capacity, is there any info regarding where all the Bills fans who haven't pre-booked the Fitzrovia may be congregating? Is there another bar that is a known alternative to the Fitzrovia? I would love to take in the Sunday 6pm/9pm (UK kick off time) games with a load of Bills fans if possible.
  24. We limited their offense to 16 points really - ST got their last 6 points. Can't blame the D (or Tre White) on the punt return TD.
  25. Joe Marino's weekly pre game primer is always worth a listen before each game. It's the best Bills podcast for me. He gives you the info you need in approximately 30 minutes, fits into your day nicely.
