Not that my opinion matters much and leadership is dependent on the the group. Some subordinates (players) need different types. Philosophical (coach type), walk softly but carry a big stick as well as outspoken/alpha type. You need a mix/balance of each to handle various situations and be able to lean on eachothers strength and support. For instance. Dorsey/Dawkins/Diggs = outspoken/alpha types. Allen/Miller/Morse = Philosophical/Coach types. McD/Beane = Walk softly and carry a big stick, but also Philosophical. Right now (imo) we have very, VERY good leaders overall and they are still learning, But the GREAT leaders CAN do it all. I think McD and Beane are REALLY close to being GREAT and I expect them to achieve GREATNESS this season!!π

Thanks. Looked like they were going for the quick game to start (Rams), but after that, nada. My guess is Donald. Dorsey probanly told Josh. if you want to live to see the end of the game, get RID of the ball !!! π€£. Have a feeling we'll see the same against the Jets to start the season. Hopefully more than just 1 game this season. When Beasley came back, I think we were already past the point of return. He wasn't the same and I think Josh's elbow did have an impact on those quick/short throws. Love the Kincaid pick. Early on I thought 30-45 catches and 4-500 yards. Although I may be a little impartial (my sons name is Dalton) I now think he could double that (given the chance).π

Was going to say something similar. I think some of last year was Allen losing confidence in the wr's underneath. I believe (really want to) that with an improvement in the OL, addition of Kincaid as well as better use of Knox, the short game will be drastically improved. Then add in an improvement in the running game, intermediate routes should improve as well.π

YouTube TV - NFL Sunday Ticket question

From an old guy that never streamed before this. YTTV home screen, select football, select nfl and you'll see all of the upcoming games. Now if someone could explain to me how to get rid of the "Zen Moments", I'd appreciate it. Not ZEN for me.π€£. Never thought I'd miss actual commercials. π± -
Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
LyndonvilleBill replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
But, you have to take health into account. Plus more than double the cost. Not going to judge much until I see Harty on game day, but, I think it's a lot of extra money and risk for the same type player.π€. I sure hope he works out the way some people think. I like rooting for the little guys.π -
I was looking at the stats , but with his injuries, it may be unfair to use them as a comparison. π€·ββοΈ https://stathead.com/football/versus-finder.cgi?player_id2=McKeIs00&player_id1=HarrDe07&request=1&utm_campaign=2023_01_wdgt_player_comparison&utm_source=pfr&utm_medium=sr_xsite&utm_id=HarrDe07 If I was 5'6" 170lbs and being chased by bigger guys, I'd run faster too.π€£

I think he has more options, I'll wait on the viable part.π I do believe Dalton will be better than our FA acquisitions as well as allow Knox to be utilized more than he was last season. I tend to agree it will be the OLine that decides how well the offense plays along with Dorseyβs game plan and play calls.

Isn't it odd the predictions that most are posting is about (give or take a little) what Lil' Dirty actually did and most wanted him gone?π€

Most important developments for the 23-24 season
LyndonvilleBill replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't really see any of these as most important. I think Groot and AJ kick it up a notch this year. We have options at LB and Williams is a tackling machine. WR just like LB we have options as well as Kincaid. Not worried about the OL gelling, but Brown taking a step up would be nice. The RB room also has options. Power, speed, quickness, receiving and blocking all available in our RB room. Pick your poison. Most important question for me is our coordinators. OC ( Dorsey) and DC (McD). Does Dorsey have it in him to use 12 personal, call a short game and adjust on the fly? Can he be creative with play design and calls? Can he keep JA on track for a quick short game or running game if needed? How aggressive will McD be? Can he handle both HC and DC duties at the same time? Will he stay with Nickle mostly or switch things up with Dime, 4-3? Press, Man, Zone balance? Will he also adjust on the fly? -
It's early, so I reserve the right to change my mind (π), but, I am on the Williams train. As you can see, I the changed my profile pic to show the man that is going to harrass old man Rodgers (as well as many other QB'S π). Whether he plays WILL or MLB, doesn't matter as I think his speed and instincts will help allow McD to be a more aggressive on D and in his play calling. I believe Williams will have more sacks and interceptions in his first two seasons than Edmunds had in his 5. π Plus, how can you not like the smile on this young man's face. When you're happy, you tend to put more effort into your work. I think we see the same smile at the Jets post game press conference. π

I guess oldmanfan will have to change his GameDay phrase to, OK You old SOB's, let's matriculate the ball down the field. π -

RD 3, Pick 91: LB Dorian Williams, Tulane

Could he be traded? -
Not much different. I just think the OL improvements will have a bigger impact on our O than new te/wr will. Love the additions on O. Really like our fa signings and draft picks. May not have had injuries per say on O, but, the OLine sure played like they did.π€£
