  1. For the most part, I agree. Build around Josh. Build the Line. Scoring will come. Or at least fix one of the lines. No more goofing around. Pick one and FIX IT.😁
  2. The way I'm looking at it is, we have 6 others in the back 7 that can cover. I want a little more Thump, while still having plus coverage skills.😁
  3. That's why you gotta go with positional flexibility. 😁
  4. Dawand Jones would be more like a small country. Van Dermark is more like Florida, Long/Lean and a little attitude.😉
  5. I thought his contract is through 24'? If so I would guess he is here for at least 2 more seasons. So unless they need the money now, I don't expect an extension yet. He has had a tough couple of years, but I think he comes to camp in shape this year. Just a gut feeling. As to Morse, I actually thought he would have been a cap casualty and Bates was going to move to C. Glad I was wrong. I do think they will get a late rnd C/OG during the draft and get him ready to backup or start for the 24' season and if they go early OL, I prefer someone with G/T flexibility moreso than C/G. Still have a couple of OL players to keep an eye on. Doyle, Van Dermark, Anderson. Not sure if they are possible options over the next year or so. Depth/BU or potential starters? 🤔
  6. As it sits today, my guess is Bates is back at RG. Definitely not my preference, but can understand some consistency would be nice. If it was my choice between OT's, I go Wright. He can play LT, RT and even G. Jones is a monster but is really only a RT (imo) although would be wild if he could play RG (crazy, I know). But if people think Brown could move inside, why not Jones?🤔 To move Dawkins, it would require a large upgrade imo and I don't see that available where we are picking. Not against it, just don't think any rookie we could pick would be better.
  7. I believe we can. And my guess is, we will see it this season. 😉
  8. Put a LG next to Dawkins that is worth something and I bet the results will be much improved.
  9. I really like Arcadia. Used to go out there for the truck mud races and stuff. Had a Blast!
  10. Sunday morning funnies(For those of us old enough to remember).😁 Hey, one could dream right?
  11. My son is in Columbus Georgia. He really likes it there.
  12. Lol. Experience. I can be packed and on the road in a weekend.😅
  13. Did you know diarrhea is hereditary? It runs in the jeans! 😜 I'm gen O (Old)! 🤣
  14. That was my first thought. But he said BPA after the 1st 2 picks. Can't argue that.
  15. Thanks. So would you replace Dawkins with Harrison on the "Blindside"? I just don't think you do if he's not better than what we already have. Just My opinion.
  16. Do you think he is "Better" than Dawkins or can beat Dawkins out for the LT spot? If not or it's close, I'd rather leave Dawkins at LT.
  17. From what I'm seeing, Campbell is top 50 (end of first in some). I seriously doubt he would be there for our 2nd or just a move of a few spots. I would guess we would have to move up probably 15+ spots to have a chance at him. I have read Pittsburgh really likes him as well and it would be a Steelers type pick/player. So I doubt he makes it past Pittsburgh at 33 or later at 49. That would be our 3rd rnd pick this year. Not sure we have the draft capital this year to do that. Would you give next year's 2nd to move up? Or do you take Wright and hope we either have our MLB already or try and get someone else? Or take Campbell and use Brown? Or Take Campbell and get a later rnd OL? Both would be awesome, but probably unrealistic.
  18. And I wouldn't hate it. There is a thread debating Campbell vs Wright going on. I can see both sides, but I lean more Campbell. Right now we have a RT already on the roster going into his 3rd year. Rookie, injured so this will be his year to prove its his position or time to move on. As it sits now, we have no idea what we are doing at MLB. So my questions are, which rookie would be best to start? Which is worth the #27 pick in value/need? Which position is more successful for a rookie to start in? I'll be honest. I don't know if I had to choose between Campbell and Wright right now, which I would take. I'd like them both.😁
  19. I think if Brown could lock down the RT spot it would be the best option. I was on the Dawand Jones train, but after further thought, I changed my position on him due to lack of flexibility. Would be one heck of a right side if you could put Brown and Jones there.😱. I agree. I think G would not be a good spot for Brown, so it's kind of RT or swing/BU. He appears to have the physical tools for RT, I'm hoping it shows this season. 🙏 One of my concerns with getting a RG in the draft would be us putting a rookie next to Brown and I just don't like that idea. I was hoping they would have gotten a young vet in FA (Risner was my choice) to pair on the right side and put Bates back at LG. But, as it sits now, it looks like Bates at RG. Time will tell if it's the right call. 🤷‍♂️
  20. Only lived in Upstate NY and Florida but traveled all over for work. LOVED Arizona and planned on moving there back in the 90's but Family and responsibilities prevented that. Lived in Orlando, Daytona, Deland, Brandon, Clearwater, St. Pete, Sarasota and a few cities/towns here in South Florida. Sarasota was my favorite. Kids and grandkids are in the Alva area on 5+ acres, so that's where I want to be. Still warm and not a lot of people.😁
  21. For me, I just like a little more meat in the seat😅. About 20lbs heavier than Harrison and I think he has a little more position flexibility? I read he can play LT, RT and Guard. So IF we were to go OL at 27 and add someone to push Brown I'd prefer Wright and if Brown shows up, maybe put him at RG or put him at RG for a year and take over RT next year. Not necessarily the best use of draft capital, but an option. I haven't watched many of the pundits lately, but it does appear he is trending upwards over the last couple of months.
