I agree with this. Just seems to me that Beane looks at what happened in the playoffs as a guide to the draft. Loss to KC 3 yrs ago, couldn't get to Mahomes, Draft Edge. Loss to KC again. Couldn't cover Kelce, wr's or get to Mahomes. Get Von, CB'S and a couple of DT'S. Now a Loss to Bengals. Couldn't get pressure, cover wr's and couldn't score on O. 🤔 Find a way to get pressure for a Mahomes led KC team or find a way to score and pressure against a Burrow led Bengals team.... ohh, the pressure...What does Beane do?😁

Thanks GB. I really enjoy when you do these. I like Hyatt better than the Addison pick in the TSW draft, but I'm still not excited at all by the wr options we may have in the 1st. But I am at least open to it. At least Hyatt has a little more speed to him and a little more length. I am not a college football guy, so I tend to watch videos and read more as the draft season starts. I came across this video below. Is it true about the Art Briles (sp) offense and the wr success when they discuss Hyatt?

I think your right on point. I believe I read somewhere that a lot of OL come into college and work on adding weight. Wonder if with the weight gains, it throws the body off and it takes an NFL S&C team to really get it right.🤔

I'll throw Jarrick Bernard-Converse as a late round CB, even possibly a PUDFA in here. Although he is listed as a CB, he can also play Saftey (which is where I would probably slot him in) as well as special teams.

He's only a 1st rnd pick because of a week class. It's not because he is special in any way. Lacks speed, poor size, can't block, So he can run a route as long as nobody presses him. He's a slot receiver, not a wr1 or wr1b. We haven't seen what Shakir can do yet and he's bigger, faster and already has a year under his belt. It's not clear Gabe is not here in 24'. That's your opinion. I'll wait until this season plays out first. I do like Campbell. I believe taking him with our first pick would be a much better choice and use of limited resources. There are several WRs after the 1st round that will be available and can be a wr2. There are less options for a good MLB after the top 3 and by what I've seen mock wise and rankings, all 3 will be gone before our 2nd pick. MLB right now is much weaker spot on the team than our wr group. Josh is a great qb and can elevate a wr's play. Josh doesn't have to have a 1st rnd wr to have success.
