Great post. I’d add that neither Jerry nor Bucky were news reporters. Once you add your opinion, you become a columnist. At that point, it’s entertainment for people. If people don’t like you or your opinion, they stop reading. If enough people dislike you, you’re out of a job. Same thing happens with $hitty actors, $hitty plays, and it’s why CNN and Fox have become so polarizing. Jerry and Gleason didn’t have enough sense to realize that most folks in Buffalo didn’t like to continually read their bashing of the teams we love. They stopped reading them and they are out of jobs (this combined with the BN tank of course).

Still could go down as a legendary draft. Lots of time to see what these gents can do. Having said that, if Allen isn’t “the” QB within the next three years, I’m not sure what the draft class would have to do in order for it to be called a success. I wonder what it would take?

Bingo. I preferred Rosen too, but many are making it out like we passed on Peyton Manning. None of the QB’s were considered exceptional or generational. All had their flaws. We happened to take the one which almost all the prognosticators considered to have the highest ceiling. Too many on the board are forgetting that.

Exactly! I was hopeful for Rosen, but we need to give Allen a chance. Has everyone forgotten that most evaluators pegged this class as just OK. Bills went with the guy who the majority of evaluators thought had the highest ceiling. Maybe the rest are Andy Dalton’s.

Whoa! That was a very impressive video and made me feel a whole lot better about Rudolph (with a later pick). Agreed 100% on arm strength. Waaay overhyped by some.
