Great post @Shaw66!! I went to buy a few brews and just after I purchased them, Henry scored. I swear, I had to wait about 5 minutes at my sections entry because people were streaming out. I finally got back to my seats and my section was about half gone. I’ve gone to a TON of home openers and this one without a doubt was easily the best - and probably the best in Bills history (esp being the last opener at Highmark). The comeback was glorious and I actually think those of us that remained were louder than any other time during the game, even with the stadium full. That feeling at the end with fellow Bills fans high-fiving and hugging is something I’ll never forget - simply electric. Go Bills!!

For those in the know - how much better do we get against the Ravens with Hoecht and Ogunjobi? Also - assuming White and Maxwell are back (with potentially better coverage and holding on to the ball)?

I get the concern and I thought the same, but then I look at the box score and see that Josh threw for almost 400 yards. No matter what we “think”, you can’t throw for 400 yards without some separation.

Just got back from game. Shame on all of those who left early. Crowd was deafining without you. Best home opener ever in my lifetime. We’re going to be undefeated and win the SB!!!!!

How do you make sense of this? Josh Allen has 264 total touchdowns in his career. Lamar Jackson has 199 total touchdowns in his career. That….is…a…chasm. They are not the same.

I just want to win this game so we can all chant M-V-P at the end of the game and really give it to the horrendous Baltimore fans.

Only part I’d tackle here is the monopoly part, which in a limited sense is somewhat true. Limited because you can watch other sports if you’d like. However, given so many NFL owners use tax payer dollars to fund their stadiums, I think it would be cool if they had cheaper stadium tickets and/or TV subscriptions to watch games for those with limited means.

I stated above tongue in cheek as I’m certain everyone that gave a thumbs down to my post would agree that streaming is stealing. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. No one is forcing you to watch the NFL. Same as restaurants - if the food is awesome, but the price is too high, just keep on walking.

Yep. There are instances of wealthy individuals advertising $$ for kidneys, i.e., someone that is going to die but has a good kidney, the money goes to the surviving loved one or family. $$ talks in medicine in many, many ways.

Fingers crossed Jackson figures it out. I’m sure there are some great examples of rookie DE’s catching fire, and I hope he’s one of them. With the depth at secondary, we need him to become a stud quickly.

Curious to who everyone thinks will be the best player from the 2025 Draft Class THIS year. I’m def in on Deone Walker (though I was hyped on Landon Jackson when we drafted him). Walker not only looks like he belongs, but has shown some dominance in his role. Just give us one freaking stud in this class!!
