Vontae Davis - come on, he quit the team at halftime. RIP https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2024/04/01/vontae-davis-passed-away-nfl-retires-halftime-call-grandma-brother-vernon-dolphins-colts-bills/73171168007/

Shakir, Benford, Cook and Bernard: Who Gets a Contract Extension?
Bockeye replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think Coleman can replace Shakir, but hopefully he improves. Having said that, Shakir can be replaced fairly easily - his best year 824 yds and 4 TD’s. He should get average/may a bit above WR2 $$ and no more, if not, let him walk. -
FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft
Bockeye replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
GunnerBill - I know you put a ton of work into these and watch a lot of college ball and hone these lists as the draft gets closer. I think your draft may be better than the Bills. Since Allen was drafted, what absolute studs would we have on the team if they followed your picks? Just curious. -
“Potential conflicts of interest” - come on…are you speaking of members of congress trading stocks with insider information and giving billions to families and associates via NGO’s?? Elon doesn’t need the money - believe me when I say this, he wants Freedom and Democracy for this country. Full disclosure - I lived in Washington for over 25 years. I started and owned one of the largest private intel analysis companies in the world (since sold and retired). I consider myself a Libertarian. Living in the area, i have plenty of contacts throughout the federal sector. I can tell you it’s corrupt as hell - on both sides of the isle. What Trump and his administration is doing is beyond anything I’d thought I would see. I’m not going to bash you, because what the American public has been fed via mainstream media is utter lies. You don’t know what you don’t know. Just dig deeper and open yourself to what is being exposed. These politicians need to be held accountable - Dems and Republicans. Go Bills!

I agree with not paying a RB too much, but why do we need to draft one? Ty Johnson is easily a better pass catcher than Cook, better pass blocker than Cook, and I think, possibly just as good runner (5.2 ypc this season) and we have Davis, and Gore Jr. Cook didn’t exactly light it up his rookie year. Ty Johnson is a 4 down back. I think we need to stop the narrative we would have to draft a #1 back to replace Cook.

Love the Dexter in here! This would be more than sufficient, esp as Crosby and Dexter would immediately make Groot and Oliver loads better. Great call.

Sorry “money spent on stuff I don’t like” doesn’t t cut it. Libs like yourself would go ballistic if they found funding to Project 2025, wouldn’t you? Or how about $8M in subscriptions to the Heritage Foundation Newsletter? You Libs don’t get it. 90% of the Conservatives I know want EVERYONE to be held responsible for government overreach and fraud- including republicans. Hell, I think/know Dan Crenshaw is crooked as hell and hope he gets caught. We want a government of the people and for the people - you know, the Constitution. As for the whining “they have our private information”, you do understand that the DOGE employees are employed by the Federal Government? Do you cry when the IRS gets your PII. I spent 27yrs running one of the largest private intel contracting companies in the US. The system is corrupt. I didn’t hear you or your ilk cry when the OPM had a data breach of approximately 21 million cleared individuals in 2015. If you think the government knowing your name, address and SS is bad, go look up SF86 and see what cleared government workers have to provide the govt in order to get a clearance. Yeah - all that data was breached.

Agreed. The malcontent Diggs cost us $31M against the cap this year! Think of what we could have done with that money. That’s ALOT of $$$ for free agency. You could say Diggs cost us a SB.

There is some ammo for the folks that want to get rid of Beane and McDermott. Barring the above, we need to make some replacements on our scouting staff. They’re average and don’t seem to hit home runs as much as we could/should.

Refs. they gave them 14 points

Hideaway Lounge/ Bills Backer Bar, Bozeman Montana I second this - Jimmys is off the hook on game days. Fun as heck!

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
Bockeye replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would respectfully disagree - I think a lot of people in every walk of life are motivated by being disrespected (whether real or perceived). I know i had my share of “disrespect” thrown at me when I was younger and used it as a primary motivation to achieve where I am today. One term I’ve heard about the Bills is “perceived” disrespect - this is 100% false. The Bills have been and continue to be disrespected this season by all sorts of media types. -

Great point! Lest we forget - Bills have $31M in dead cap space because of Diggs the whiner. Imagine who we could have on this team for that $!!! -
I tend to agree, but 8 straight games of 30+ points per game along with 3.12 points/drive is astoundingly good. I’m fine with his passing and running calls. How the heck can we do much better?? So the below stats are wrong then?? Brady and Manning in their prime were putting up more points per drive? Had way more than 8 30+ point games. Just trying to square this. The 2024 Bills are averaging 3.12 points/drive - In the history of the NFL, only the 2007 Patriots have averaged more at 3.19. The only other teams above 3 are the 2018 Chiefs, the 2013 Broncos and the 2001 Rams.

Bills will crush the Pats when we face them next. Brady and McD will make the adjustments and the players will take next game a bit more serious. Book it. -
Mahomes would have been rolling around in agony for 10 minutes on the field had this happened to him. Though a lock HOF’er, he’s a soccer flopper playing in the NFL.
